Im about to buy a new computer from a local buildshop and i have a question about ATI and Nvidia, what are the differances? Im not too concerned about high end performance, i dopc game but i dont wnat it to run DX10 games for example. Also what are your reccomendations on there respective videocards?

I tried playing that on release but the servers were so bad and the game was so buggy i gave up on it.By the sounds of it its way better than it was.Ive mentioned thisbefore but i dont think any mmo has given on its promise like Tabula Rasa in that unlike Huxley its actually released.

GUH i hate night elfs and there respective areas.The only ones i like remotely are Felwood and winterspring. I dont like the race and how theylook, i personally think they look pretty bad andi dont like how sheer there skin tone is, bright pink, dark purple, grey even.There almost as bad looking as female dwarfs/trolls/orcs (taurens are kinda hot :^o) and they have the worst faction leader ever, hes such a douche nd hes so emo, they should add some my chemical romance song in his bedroom while he [bleep]es to you because you didnt bring him any soil :wall:

Theres a surprising amount of quests for felwood from other chains, like theres one from ungoro to felwood and theres a few quests on all the satyrs etc. Winterspring is awesome though, its a bit like a mini hellfire just the diversity of it and quest density.

yeah i sawa video like that on warcraft movies, isnt that buff/debuff the art of war or something that is making ret paladins just incredibly? Im leveling a belf warlock aswell as a druid as a bit ofa break.I did it with my priest leveling a rogue to 30 with her and with my gnome warrior i played a draenei paladin to 23.Thing with my druid is again hes on a differant server to any of my previous toons so theres no boosts through instances for that 20-25 level range(which hurts, especially on horde side) and so on.And what im found out from leveling a warlock straight after leveling a warrior and druid is that pet classes are so easy to level and warlocks are just gods.

Are the quests drastically different in Outland? Also hit 50 today and got Water Elemental, really handy spell, can handle at least 3 mobs and once with that so all good. Hoping to be in Outland by Monday, cant wait for it. Not drastically differant but there drastically better.No quests which make you travel to another continent and the quest zones are nice and compact with short level ranges, you dont go south barrens and die to a wasp because hes 13 levels higher than you. Also the rewards make you twice as powerful in a 1/4 of the time.

very nice.That section is real rough because of how close outland is and your stuck doing the same things that you have done for the past 900 or so quests and its content that was ok in 2004... Close to getting my S2 shoulders and with 3 arena teams going i could get the S4 gloves on my gnome warrior. oh and druid is EZ-MODE

great post nadril and vidi.Nadril you did complain about how wow is so end game orientated but it sounds like AoC hasnt really focused on it...Sadly it could be a few months before they can turn it all around and rectify issues because of the way content is generated and by the time that hits they could have blown it.

Promises? Most of the content that they said will be in the game when they first announced it will be in it apart from the 4 classes and 4 cities which imo is no loss, especially in the early stages of the game. Also i think it has got a pretty unique PVP system, all of the PVP will be world unlike WoW where nearly all PVP action is confined to Battlegrounds apart from the ocasional skirmish and a meeting stone which only last a couple of minutes. the RvR pvp hasnt been fully shown and when they have shown it, it was completely broke at the time.Now there have bee reports they have cracked it and it does work but until i see someone other than a mythic employee playing the RvR pvp and the feature set that they want to establish is done, im not interested. This stems from tabula rasa which i honestly thought would change everything in MMO's but it failed to meet the promises.And theyve set the precident for taking out content to finish the game .Im not saying it isnt going to be a good game, i just have doubt's, reservations and im not really interested in it at this point.

Its done nothing to differentiate itself from any other MMO apart from the promises. Its gonna make warhammer fans go crazy, but im not one and im not interested in it.

hit 2k gold on my gnome wrarior simply doing the sunwell isle dailys and selling whatever motes or greens i get. Oh and druid is awesome...im in a quandry now because i want to raid 25 mans in the expansion and i also want to heal rather than dps or tank.Im thinking off leveling the druid to 70 before wrath and making my gnome my pvp character, just fully spec him out for pvp and use him soley as that.I think the druid and its versatility would be a better choice than the warrior because i really like healing and the priest i have on ice became rather dull just because the variety wasnt there.Also if my mentality changes by then i can spec feral or prot on my warrior.

Just like horde do on silvermoon.Alliance silvermoon is freaking insane. 11 guilds with SWP+ clear 41 guilds with a BT+ clear 92 guilds with a SSC/TK+ clear Its not bad for a pve server... Magtheridon is also really far progressed. Oh and searing gorge i think is an awesome zone for questing, there all centralized around taht huge hole and you can do a circuit and just do all the quests in that zone in 6 hours, and get 2 levels for it.

Funnily enought i just got my gnome warrior to 70 and now playing my druid on there and im actually now thinking of making my druid my main.I want to raid in wrath, i want to raid 25 mans especially and i also want to heal 25 mans.I dont really like healing on my priest because its just so intensive and im literally riding th edge of the threat line, if i get a heal crit i basically pull aggro and die.I dont like the offensive nature of it. The druid healing is something i already like just speccing resto to heal Zul farrack and then being able to multitask like throw out some moonfire's, entangling roots and cure some poisons while helaing like a god.So yeah i like my druid.

Yes, I have no life. Immortality, How can you kill that which has no life? I see teh appeal of a new game especially an MMO , i remember playing 17 hours back in the day for phantasy star, and like 12 hours a day for the next 4 days just because i was so blown away.

This guy speaks gospel, disciples listen. People still use the pun Warcrack to describe warcraft but you will find its a way more casual game now.than it was years ago. Age of conan is where you wnat to go for pvp at the moment, at its early stage its the most balanced MMO in terms of pvp andprobably will be for a while. As with all MMO's they change over time and are constantly being tweaked for balance.Warhammer's now in testing so you could twiddle your thumbs and jump wright into that. Oh and wow and i can bet highly that AOC's proffesions are more fleshed out than any skill in runescape.

Do you grind or play 15 hours a day or something? Or are you grouping with higher levels, but not apping? I've been playing minimum of 12 hours per day since 55, and I'm only 67 at the moment, almost 68, it's been like a week and a few days. >.> Or is it just class dependent on leveling speed? :o :shock:

Sadly i doubt there will be a Starcraft MMO in the next few years with Starcraft 2 out soon, but Blizzard have announced there working on the next gen MMO which should be interesting, i just hope its not something to do with Warcraft. And when/if they do release a new MMO it will be plagued with all the WoW kiddies which will most likely ruin it. Blizzard have said that Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 are a way for them to do something other than warcraft, itsalso why WOTLK is going in another direction like the burning crusade did with a more magical theme and WOTLK is with a Nordic theme. Also wow has more "kiddies" than any other mmo(runescape excluded because its mostly kiddies) because it has much more of a market share and with it being mainstream its going to draw a lot more people and younger people to it.Think of it like movies, the more marketing a movie has and the more mindshare it gets, the larger the demographic.
