  1. With any luck I'll know if I'm in my top choice about halfway through my senior year :P
  2. Heh... college mail :x I have two milk crates full of the junk and it keeps getting bigger every month /me looks in fear at the monster Bowdoin sent But that's nothing, just wait until they start calling you :P The exact same call for every college... it's like a conspiracy!
  3. This is for those juniors who are just now realizing "OMGWTBUFFALO, I gotta look at colleges seriously now!", but aren't yet to the stage where they're lying on their back yelling "NERK NERK NERK". These sites have helped me so much that I wish I had known about them muuuch earlier (/me scowls at mad) http://talk.collegeconfidential.com - Discussion boards about colleges talking about everything from your chances to get in to whether or not you *really* need a 600 watt microwave.... http://www.princetonreview.com - The best source I've seen for basic information on colleges such as location, tuition, average grants and loans, average testing scores, and especially what aspects colleges favor over others (IE extracurriculars and test scores) PLEASE add more links! Thanks for the links, mad! :D
  4. Have fun with Drafting :D One of the most fun classes I ever took, except my teacher had insane deadlines so I switched after a semester...

  12. 8 foot long 48 star flag hanging along one side of my room :D
  13. I actually prefer playing runescape with the Official client they provide (IE basically). Tabs+runescape don't mix that well =\
  14. It's really people like you causing snags in the US because you refuse to use what everyone else does :P Do what's functional. Stay imperial. And of course the tip of the thumb to the first knuckle differs on everyone ! :P
  15. While I was researching biking I picked up a few things that might answer your questions. Yes, they make the bike go faster, but they aren't for offroading where they're likely to hit a rock large enough to make them go off balance. And I think it was the faster you go, the stabler you are. I also read that in some places biking on the sidewalk is illegal. In my state (Kansas) at least a bike has the exact same rights as a vehicle. Yay for bike lanes, Biking on sidewalks is illegal, but I think there is an exception to that rule...like for a short period of time or something... I think that a big city near where I live has it illegal in the business section of town to ride on the road. When I'm driving I could really care less :P And it sounds like people need to get the idea out to most motorists that bicycles have the same rights so motorists don't become more aggressive towards them when they're on the road.
  16. Any other content worthy of bumping up a 6 day old topic? At least read the other pages and plagiarize other peoples opinions??? You're killing me here :(

  19. runesmithie replied to blue107's topic in Off-Topic
Well, you can't really believe in something if it had not been even thought of yet by any mortals :)

  21. Might be putting words into the mouth of someone, but knives669 has satellite I believe and it really does seem horrible. When she logs on msn she'll log off and on a few times from the sheer lag =\

  23. Not really an informercial, but theres this one commercial that really gets on my nerves. It's just a great example of what advertisers think of people. The contentso f the commercial: Are you fat? (forgot what) causes body fat! Stress causes (same thing as above)! You need (drug name here)!!!!!!!! It's so fast.. and there's no actual content other than that...
  24. *some smart arsed person* They did block it for a reason. And they have a perfectly valid reason, so we aren't going to help you bypass what they did.
