Ok, a DS or even a pocket PC is a really stupid idea for devving on the go... Just suck it up and get a laptop, because productivity with a DS would be so horribly slow and you wouldn't be able to test all the browsers for your HTML and I can't imagine any Cpp programs being very zippy... And surely, being a programmer, you know a thing or two about efficiency? :)

And not all kids are taught good habits by their parents :P

Might not be the same for all universities, but when I was at KSU they said that double majoring with 2 engineering degrees would just add another normal year of classes onto what one degree would take and it wouldn't be too much of a change from the 4 years you were going to take already (timeschedulywise) since a lot of it is general engineering cruft or something like that.

Are you absolutely sure you need 6mo experience before taking the class? Or just getting your license. It also looks entirely optional unless you want to drive before 18 :P In Kansas you take the class and then you have some extra hours towards getting your learners/farm permit and you don't have to take a test at the place where you get your license. As for what I think? I think it's a great experience and it should be taken, because when I went it taught me defensive driving and how to handle all sorts of situations (although some are kind of hard to remember like who has right of way at a 4way stop if you all stop at the same time >.<).

Yeah, unscrewed the powersupply, pushed it in and there was a caselock in there, incredibly hard to get to... Anyways, now that's solved and I figured out I can't salvage anything, what should I do with it? Win95 is installed with few apps (Quickbooks pro is the only one that really comes to mind that doesn't come by default...) he computer has 32mb RAM and is somewhere in the 40486 line, I couldn't find the exact spec though... (512mb hd too :) )

Just got a fairly old computer and I'm trying to pry the sucker open to salvage it's parts. Only problem is that it just isn't budging, it's built like a fort... Probably just a wild shot, but does anyone know how to dismantle an Acer case with ease and without destroying anything? (It's 40486 era)

A red mage is a FF class wich used White magic (healing and support), Black magic (Offensive and statuse changing), and used mellee as in like using wepons and armour. Im not sure how big outland is, you will have to ask someone who has played warcraft 3 I do believe I have just found someone who is a worse speller than you!

If you haven't noticed, neither are meant to replace the other, they just make things easier depending on what you're doing. Obviously if you're studying low temperatures you'll want to use K and if you're doing real world stuffs you'll want C :P

Try not to get tied into some horrible plan just because you get a good phone free/low priced :P

I've made millions on Morrowind by opening the console and typing, player->additem, "gold100", 50000 I'm a cheater. : yea, i got sick of making potions in Oblivion and just consoled myself about 40mil :lol: How do you console ?... Someone sure has an agenda here... The DS is a spectacular piece of hardware with a just as spectacular lineup of games (only a few that I don't want to buy). So go for it! If you want a case, get the Intec Pro Gamer's Kit :P
