  1. Another few things I forgot to add: Amazing handwriting recognition (except for my 4s and 9s, which are pretty sloppy :P) and voice recognition (only missed what color I said once, because I was mumbling :P) And perhaps one of the better featres, if you say Microsoft in the main menu he will growl and shake his head XD
  2. Possibly my best find for the Nintendo DS. The premise of Brain Age is that your brain needs exercising like the rest of your body and by training with this you can keep it at an optimum 20 years old. There are 4 different save files, each saved with your signature, so you can sort of personalize them... Once you go into the save, you see a calendar with stamps on days that you have done at least one exercise, a great way to keep track. The exercises range from pure simplicity to true thinkers, at the minute I have only a few modes unlocked. Calculations x20 is a series of very simple math problems that you must write out the answer for. Calculations x100 is pretty obvious :P. Reading Aloud gives you a passage from a classic novel and has you read it aloud (it doesn't check that you are though). Low to high gives you a set of numbers in boxes that you must memorize in less than a second and then hit the boxes with the lowest numbers up to the highest from memory. Syllable count has you count the syllables in a short sentence. On top of these is the Brain Age check, which you can do once a day and will pick 3 random tests (even ones you haven't unlocked yet.) Each exercise has rules given by the floating face of Dr. Ryuta Kawashima (who also responds to voice commands on the main menu... boy does he like laughing :P . Also included are some quick training options, such as a quick random test, a quick brain age check, and a quick sudoku puzzle. Oh boy, did I forget to mention that this game has around 100 sudoku puzzles for you to solve? Well it does :D. You can also challenge up to 15 friends to a "Calculation Battle", which would be the same as Calculations x30 (off of ONE cartridge!). I think you can also send them a demo of the game with all of the quick modes. I think I rambled a bit.... this game is great, buy it! :) You WILL want to finish all of your exercises, they're so much fun :D
  3. I want some supersize fries :'(

Massively Multiplayer --Check, except for instances, and even then you have teams from anyone in the towns that wants to come with you Online --Check Role Playing --Check Game --Check (I'd hope so, at least)
  5. Psh, why's everyone so opposed to fast food places... they can be a part of a healthy diet, just use sparingly ;) /me points to fat on the old food pyramid
  6. Well, I just got a DS (my first portable), so I'm ready for that aspect of the Revo :D (Although I'm going to return it for a DS Lite, since they come out pretty soon and it shouldnt be too much longer until the colored versions come out)
  7. Just get used to it :P Oh, and about that code you didnt add, that's probably code from your interface ;) There are options to hide it though

  9. Here are some links that have been handy for me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... _languages http://www.jvoegele.com/software/langcomp.html http://merd.sourceforge.net/pixel/langu ... -language/ <-- comparison as related to scripting tasks In general interpreted languages are slower once executed, but you have no need to compile them like with VB
  10. I'm starting to agree with you here, Halo was ust really overhyped, but there are tons of games worse than it in every way imaginable.... Maybe you posters should actually think about the topic at hand.
  11. The only reason i see to learn QBasic is to get a feel of how programming works, it's pretty useless in the real world, at least thats from my experience, unless you run win95 or something :D But it's easy to do without QBasic... Also, i don't really see the reason to learn C++ or the like, IMO it's better to just make the language you preferr more perfect, instead of having a smaller knownlegde of like 15 different... Personally, the only languages i'm good enough at to actually use them IRL is the basics (xhtml, css, js) and then PHP + Ajax, and that's simply because i've stopped there, i don't see a reason to get more into my head than those when they work just fine without more additions... I forgot earlier, but another good language to learn the basics on is Python, since it isn't compiled and you get instant results :D
  12. It really doesnt matter what version schools use as long as they get the concepts through the kids heads :P
  13. The worst game that I own would easily have to be Starsky and Hutch... but it was only $15 for a few hours of fun before it ramped up the difficulty insanely.... :P Worst use of the Havok engine ever >.<
  14. 1up has really gone down the flash drain :P If you dont have a fairly fast computer, it'd be best to do it forum style (but remember to keep ahead of the purges!)
  15. They call it 'Case Closed' in America. I don't understand why they didn't keep it Detective Conan :| And yeah, that anime owns :P I saw it back in the Philippines about around 4-5 years ago. It was pretty fun anime for kids. They have about 400 eps for it, right? They shouldn't have dragged it that long :| I don't know =\ I've seen a few episodes of Case Closed... he could learn from it if he was a 7 year old :x

  17. Yeah, I'm horrible with faces, I usually end up associating people to their names by clothes and stature
  18. Well you know how to read a book, don't you? :P
  19. Same way with me in high school. Execpt it was everyone else was a moron and I didn't want a thing to do with them. College is the same way :( Psh, need to loosen up.... If I had my way I wouldn't have associated with quite a few of my great friends (theyre not exactly the smartest bunch :P )
  20. Better than Dutch. Unless I'm wrong, there is no sentence structure for that one... It just kind of slots together depending on the words :-? Never saiid it was the hardest but there are sooo many stupid rules that make no sence.... I before E except after C... Is that one of those weird rules you're referring to? :P Psh, you have to memorize the whole thing! I before E except after C... And in some really messed up cases
  21. Hehe on test days I'd pick the skill to know the right answer to everything (except for the questions that would be major spoilers like.... What's the purpose of life... What's the question that is answered 42...)
  22. The sheer brilliance! Mankind can finally answer the deepest mystery of all! Mankind could have possibly just asked Womankind :P
  23. 1.) The ability to choose a different super power each day (and have the last days cancelled out) I think that covers 2 and 3 also :P
  24. I was kind of expecting the special message to be something like .... oh I don't know... Coupon for half off a couple of a tickets
