I'm thinking about applying to a theater :D It sounds a little out of the ordinary fast food/ grocery store/ CS :P (Plus the perks sound good, when I don't really see movies at all :P )
  4. It goes faster than a sound waveand they start to lag behind it? Is that what you were getting at ? :P
  5. @Lionheart_0 All sound uses waves to move, and that air creates those waves necessary, but as Anesthesia said, it might not be feasible to emit waves at that amplitude
  6. Yeah but when you're jogging and such, you don't wat to look at a screen, you want to get on with it :D And the shuffle is the simplest way to get on with it :P

Ay to the person that said going with dates that are just friends :P My date was just my best friend (she wouldn't have been able to come otherwise since she had stopped going to school, just a temporary thing however, don't worry :P) As for the prom king and queen here at my school... they ditched that years and years ago :P The teachers excuse is "Well we don't want Carrie to become a documentary, do we?"
  8. I'd recommend the iPod Shuffle if you're not against them $99-$149 I think
  9. Meh, I'd love one sports game where they perfected the audience to the levels of the characters

And it doesn't necessarily have to have a bow tie either... There are a ton of different fashions of tuxes, just go to your local tux shop and check them out :D
  11. I hope they really step up these puzzles to notpron type levels of difficulty
  12. If it's what I think it is (a multi touch touchscreen) then definitely not yet.... unless you hack something together :) And I don't really recall the touchscreen taking place of keyboards or mice, so I very much doubt this will
  13. Agreed, once I got the hang of the rules I was pretty much done with it :( At this rate I don't know if I'll be one of the elite 10,001 :P
  14. They're really easy so far :P I don't think they need much more help as it is Although I'm coming to fear this upcoming chess one
  15. Only helps for the first part of it :P
  16. It was pretty simple, one of the concepts in the book >.< Now I'm on #3 and I have to find out some nasty stuff like how many dials something has if it has so many combinations o.O

Anyone here tried that Da Vinci Code/Google Quest? I'm stuck on the first level (was a simple sudoku puzzle for me) because I don't know what else to call a triangle... other than a triangle  Sure is a refreshing change from notpron though
  18. Dam, just remembered I only got far on my previous OS... wanna give me these codes ye speak of? :o You mean the ones included with the text file that comes with the game named n_cheats.txt? :P

Ubuntu is generally the most newbie friendly and you can order the discs in the mail for free You really can't play games on Linux without Cedega or Wine as already mentioned.
  23. Ever heard od Xlink Kai, or how about XB connect? apinagez* thats pretty much it. Grr.. You're the only person I've found who has Halo 2 and X-Link... And THEN you go and break the Halo 2 disk.. PFFT! I coulda' had hours of fun beating you about with my energy sword on there. And another thing, I honestly prefer Halo 2 because you need more skill to play it than Halo 1. I'd like to see you complete Halo 2 as quick as you can complete Halo 1 on Legendary. Well, that's how it worked for me... Halo 1 proved to be a much lesser challenge. -Mitch- I don't know whether you're kidding me or what I couldn't even finish Halo 1... it just frustrated me to no end Halo 2 was a walk in the park by comparison =\ (especially with that invisibility on the one guy)
  24. Pity. As a genius I would have thought you would have noticed the time limit. Ka-doumdoum-tshhh! Bubsa in the house :D! Real IQ tests have varying times The one I took in 3rd or so grade took ~3 hours Time is extremly important in IQ tests, thats practically what they're testing for. An extemly crude example of their grading system works like: (# correct / age) / Time I'm just saying they could have done different segments over several days
