I wouldn't suggest hunting for one because you probably will never get one as a drop. They however are not overrated and would recommend getting one if it won't bankrupt you

I doubt they will release this one on a Thursday ;) (Unless they want to destroy families by making children across the country finish thanksgiving dinner in about 3 minutes and not giving them time to really bond as a family unit)

Well we know from quest story lines and the Armadyl messenger that Lucien the Mahjarrat has the staff of Armadyl [hide=staff of Armadyl pic][/hide] You can see the green gems on the display case staff and the staff wielded by Lucien. We also know that all the Mahjarrat are shape shifter but there true form seems to be a skull. So all speculation in the thread is very firmly based in quest knowledge and BTS hints

What you are referring to definitely happens in the rate this forums consistently. When an achievement isn't something that most people are impressed by they go to whether the person is their friend or not for their rate and comments.

If that is indeed the the staff of armadyl, then the person has to be Lucien. Either you gave Lucien the staff, or if you helped the Armadyl guardians you got a message saying that Lucien had obtained it. Either way unless Lucien gave the staff to Zemouregal in the time from the messenger giving you the communique and the new quest that Mahjarrat is Lucien
