As long as the demand is there, people will try to supply. That being said, RWT will always be a problem.

While trolling the tip.it forums, I find most of the "money making" guides tend to be very vague, or very circumstantial (such as, "wool balls buy 1010100101010101010101001 then market price goes up and sell!). This is more for basics, with a little personal addition. 1.) Always check the Grand Exchange. A.) Check the volumes of stuff sold. B.) Check Price Rises/Drops. The stuff that is always in demand is the stuff most people should focus on. I know its pretty straight forward, but its safer than the "wool ball" method. I'd rather spend my hours mining Pure Essence and selling that by the thousands, than bank on some item sky rocketing in price. In regards to to B.), make sure to always put some cash out if something is going down. If Willow Logs are dropping in price, buy some for when they go back up. I'm not saying manipulate by purchasing 1000000000 willow logs, rather, buy the logs and let their value increase. 2.) Keep playing. A.) Don't waste time fussing around with waiting for prices to go down or up. B.) Make sure to have fun. If you have 10k Pure Essence on the Grand Exchange waiting to sell, then diversify. Instead of going to mine more Pure Essence (unless that is your thing!) try Coal, cut some willows, maybe do some herblore. It doesn't matter. The volume sold page of the Grand Exchange is extremely useful. Do you see how diverse it is? Invest in any and all of those items if you can. If you're not having fun while playing, you're defeating the purpose of the game. 3.) Slayer (P2P Only) There are no sub sections for slayer. It is generally agreed that slayer is a fantastic way to get money. Do Smoking Kills (I'm a hypocrite and lazy!) to increase your profit margins. As I see it, Slayer and Combat go hand in hand, and you should pretty much only level combat on a Slayer mission. I believe its a waste of time and supplies if you don't. Of course that is up for debate, but if you get 85 Slayer, do you know how much cash you can make? 4.) Fishing. A.) PvP Worlds. Fishing is an incredible way to make money, and very easy (yet time consuming). With the return of PvP worlds (soon) we all can expect fish prices to go up, and more to be sold. Tuna and up will sell! Raw or cooked, you will make cash. Tuna will sell on f2p worlds. It is a cheaper alternative to lobsters and swordfish. 5.) Penny Pinching. There are THOUSANDS of ways to save a quick penny here and there. For starters, if you have access to the Warriors Guild and you need food, World hop buying potatoes. I think this method still works, and you pay very little for these compared to their healing equivalent in fish (Monkfish). Rune Plate is the exact same as any fancy colored Rune Plate, if you don't have the cash for the fancy one, get the regular. The 1.9m you could spend on a Saradomin plate would be better spent on weapons and supplies that could increase your financial gain! I'm open to suggestions for penny pinching, so please post them! If nothing else, play smart. Not everyone is going to make it rich of a sudden price rise in the Grand Exchange. I'm wary of the "Wool ball" method as to the inconsistency for which it works. You CAN and WILL make money if you stick to the basics. Just don't lose hope or get frustrated because you don't have 100m yet. I don't, and I don't think I ever will. Edit: This is my first guide and I will refine it when I have more time! (have to be to class in 10 minutes)

They drop Crimsons more often than any other charm they drop, plus I was getting them between every 2-3 Greaters. It may have been a stroke of luck, but it seemed quite often enough

The IP address that is given to a computer is what it connects to the ISP with. The ONLY way an IP could affect your connection is if your IP given by your ISP expires (usually 24h). Essentially, make sure you reset your internet once a day!

Well I can afford the monks and my burn rate is acceptable (3 or so every inventory). My plan is to actually fish the monks that I burn, to make up for the difference. I have fishing gauntlets and my cooking is 66 (well soon to be). Another reason that I am picking fishing is that it allows me to do other things while my character is cooking. I work 45h a week and I'm taking 14credit hours at college..not a lot of time!

To me it sounds like it wouldn't take too long and that it wouldn't cost too much. Firemaking would take a while because of all of the clicking.

I was discussing with someone at the monkfish place about 99ing an easy skill. The person recommended COOKING monkfish, simply buying 10k, cooking them all, sell what you can, rebuy. I have enough $$ to probably repeat this cycle 5-6 times, and I calcd it would take nearly 85k monkfish to do this. Is this a sound plan, or is there a better route? Edit: Changed wording for easier understanding.

Right now (as shown in my signature) my combat stats are 83 Attack, 71 Strength, and 70 Defense. Should I balance these out sooner, or wait till I hit 90 attack? I suppose the real question is, would be getting Strength and Defense to at least 80 significantly help me to 99 Attack (or 90) or is it insignificant.

Using the Verac's, I've done Kalphite Queen with a friend a few times. Nothing good yet, other then some fun!

I'm using full Verac's now because of price primarily. I tried Guthan's, and to be honest I was disappointed. The lack of different attack styles disappointed me.

I don't think I am being specific. I am going to do Slayer with whatever Barrow's set, unless monsters outside of Slayer give me more cash.

With Guthan's, what can be killed that outweigh the cost of repair and can also yield profit?

Due to the recommendation of a member on here, I'm looking into Barrows sets. 1.) I have 6m I can spend. 2.) Ahrim and Karil need not be discussed, for I am not looking to level Magic or Ranged. 3.) The exception to rule 2 is if part of one of their respective sets is useful. The main issue I have is what full sets or partial sets do I want to use. Guthan's is obviously fairly expensive and popular, so I would need some hard convincing to use that. At my disposal, for gear, I have Abysmal Whip, Rune Defender, Helm of Neit.....(sp), Rune Plate(g) (cringe...), Dragon Platelegs, Obsidian Cape, Obsidian Shield (thing), Dragon Dagger (p++), Rune Boots, Combat Bracelet, Ring of Wealth, Glory. What I am essentially looking for is the best set of Barrows that can exponentially increase my earnings, whether it be a full set or partial.
