I've always thought about doing monks until 76 fishing (so I can stab at sharks!!), do you think now is a good as time as any to grind it out?

To be honest, there really is never a situation where you should use it over a defender.

I got a Rune Defender the first day they came out. I have to say, the second I got it, I got rid of my obby shield. For awhile, I was ridiculed for using my Defender, but now who's laughing? Defender is always going to win this debate, UNLESS you need the defense, but if you need defense get some barrows.

I always get a laugh out of the "Safer" "nuub" "gtfo safer". I didn't die once and I got 20 kills, I must be one hell of a noob!

I just camped in barb village ;) Not really, 3 Rune Scims (skulled people), 2 Green Vambs, Green Body and Legs, Rune Long I spent much more than that prepping (food , rune (I didn't have any) etc.)

I've racked up 20 K/Os and called it quits. It took me a few hours to do that, running back and forth throughout lumbridge and varrock banks. 2 of the K/Os were in the 10second time. After accumulating so few kills in cities, I played Barbarian Village guard. My god, it was a slaughter.

I've been pvping in lumbridge. GE is kinda lame and falador is clan infested. Yeah, im doing it on f2p even though I am a member.

I had my five minutes of fun. I killed 2 people, they were wearing noob gear. Fishing monks expecting prices to rise!

Ranarrs you have to check plant health. Monks are incredible, except the spots change often.

Okay, you guys are in outright flame right now and it should stop. The pure isn't going to change his mind, so let him think what the thinks is right. As long as he is respectful to other members about what they do, then there shouldn't be a problem. Honestly.... If you don't like prayer don't use it. Don't tell ME how to play the game. Wanna know how to judge skill in a kill? IF YOU KILL THEM. Who cares if you pray, who cares if you're a "def nuub". You Pk'rs need to get over yourselves.
