  1. I'm thinking maybe you can block him with familiars and/or Dwarf Cannon... but for direct luring I don't think it's possible.
  2. Alch or soul wars 'till 70, then ice burst mummies/monkeys/zombies whatever, or leechers at SW (but you need kinda high def to sustain the tankers... ice burst once, then keep blood bursting). Zeal + regular xp is really good.
  3. It's not so bad, you lose 14 gp per bar (which pales compared to what you lose on higher level bars). You could also get sc hammers and make the highest level platebody you can.
  4. A less earning way of *acquiring* junk is to borrow d claws/godswords/rares from other players from 20-100k an hour. Of course, the junk you assemble is directly converted from your cash pile, and sometimes even less.
  5. You should smelt cannonballs for a while using steel bars. Powertraining smithing is usually done with gold ore and family crest gloves, but it's quite expensive. I recommend calculating how much of each you should do to break even.
  6. The robes are redundant if you're playing the FoG minigame since the runes are free anyways. Idc if you can get the effect in the minigame, but if you can it'll show by not using a catalytic rune for one or more spells.
  7. Go camp at green dragons in chaos tunnels or wildy for a while. Sell the bones/hides and solve any clues you get. It's around 300k cash/hour and the clues can give you a good reward too (usually 100k or more for 20-30 minutes of work). You could also mine pure essence, or collect snapegrass on waterbirth isle.
  8. You don't *get* any runes, whenever you cast a spell there's a 5% chance it doesn't *cost* you a rune.
  9. No, but you can do this very easily yourself: 1. Look up in the bestiary how much hp the monster you train on has and multiply that number by 4. 2. Look up in the xp table how much xp you need for your desired level 3. Substract that by the amount of xp you have 4. Divide what's left over by the number you got in step 1. 5. Done!
  10. Keep using bronze. The range attack is negligable since you will be getting most of the bonuses from dragonleather and amulets. The only thing that matters for max hit is ranged strength, and with such inaccuracy (but high rate of fire) the difference in damage and thus xp per hours is minimal. Go with the cheapest variety. Also you can buy 100,000 in 4 hours.
  11. Also, empty Fist of Guthix lobbies are perfect for firemaking.
  12. It really depends on what you're doing. Sometimes you really need prayer when training and you'd go for as close to maxed prayer bonus as possible. Sometimes you need teleports in which case an amulet of glory or ring of duelling is advised (saves inventory spots!). Void robes are great for any activity in which you're sure you won't die (safe minigames and safespotting or just killing harmless monsters). Barrows armour, saradomin sword and whip are the classic member items that one would use upon reaching 70 in the relevant skills. If you mage or range, I'd recommend void robes. You could also play some Stealing Creation; the equipment rewards give you double xp in combat for a while, and the sc mage robes have stats comparable to mystic. Whenever you do a combat activity, always bring a weapon to spec with - dds is preferred, d mace or longsword is also a possibility. DBA is used by some, but I usually hear people don't like the stat drains. Either way, figure out your favourite outfit at every activity and go with it!
  13. I trained mage 73-74 in 10 minutes but it did cost me 900k in runes. Blood bursting Soul Wars leechers ftw!
  14. Join a 50/50 world? Idk, just play the game lots and get the hang of it.
  15. Strangely while Ghouls are human, the Ghoul Champion is undead... Banshees are undead though.
  16. Pssh, lots of cash on a low level pure isn't that uncommon. That said, bronze knives at rock crabs are good xp (200 xp per rock crab). Soul Wars is also an option but your hp will get left behind. If you do SW, get 30 slayer first so you can kill pyrefiends in-game for extra xp. If you choose rock crabs, the following set-up is advised: Hat: Robin Hood Hat > Coif > Cowl Cape: Ava's Accumulator > Obsidian Cape Amulet: Fury > Glory > Power Ammo: N/A (You'll get steel arrows with Ava's Acc) Weapon: Bronze Knives (10k should do) Top: Leather body (assuming 1 def) Legs: Best dragonhide chaps Gloves: Best RFD gloves > Best dragonhide vambs Boots: Ranger boots > Leather boots Ring: Archer's Ring > Ring of Life Shield: Zammy book > Guthix book > Anti-dragon shield And bring full inv of food.
  17. Also, if a monster is Undead (race), the spell will work. Use the bestiary.
  18. Soul Wars is great powertraining at those levels, when you get higher you should do Aviansies and use the profits to chin or cannon your way to 99.
  19. Well since you also need a crafting requirement my vote goes to gold bars... you could also make some cannonballs first to compensate for the loss.
  20. It was meant to be pointless, it's just my weird sense of humour I guess :P As for your comments: Pvp hasn't exactly become more profitable as there were already very valueble possible drops, in fact they lowered the best drop from 16,3M (dfs) to 5M (zaros statuette). Jagex also stated they tried to balance the drops and have the average drops stay the same. The wild is HUGE, I see plenty of space where nobody ever goes... also since teleporting has been introduced to new BH, gaining potential or 26k'ing has become much easier and safer. Also, while you're able to get good drops with 0% EP, it is very much advised to get higher EP.
  21. Advantage of BH worlds: You get better drops Disadvantages of pvp worlds: You get worse drops
  22. Wow so my random estimate was pretty good :)
  23. Did you just ask that question without blinking? I'd say around 3-4 casts per charm.
