Personally i've decided to stop using Panda after a few years. Check some tests and come back and say again "i don't believe there are any", Avira and Avast are both free and good. There are some false positives, yes, but they are both better than AVG is today.

I got many search results on tif using "free antivirus" (only searched in T&C), since this topic has been up so many times. On google, well first page i see: AVG, Avast, Avira, ClamWin.

:thumbup: There are some things with my motherland I cannot agree with (yeah I was born thar, but I live in the U.S. now.), but I feel that they had some reason behind the decision. Maybe theyre trying to crack down on Child Porn by eliminating all other porn? Perhaps. But the money would be more well spent if they targeted only that instead of the whole business. And then still, they will have problems as they aren't going after the sources.

If you are referring to this video: That chip is from 2001 if i remember correct. And the video doesn't prove anything really, it's possible to fry a cpu in that way despite being from 98 or 08. And if you know your stuff, you'd know that Intel currently has the most powerful cpu out there.

Tried old driver, didn't change anything. I tried the dvi cable with the 17" screen and it works without a problem... But it refuses my 19". Suggestions...?

I mean, prostitution/trafficking is illegal in Ukraine, but the government pretty much ignores it. It's basically the same with the download-law here in Sweden (illegal to download anything copyrighted), you're never going to be able to enforce such a law. It's a legit form of adult entertainment. In my view, the money this law will cost, they should spend on fighting trafficking/prostitution. What's your view on this? And what's your thoughts on banning/regulating this form of "art"?

Coming from a country that used to have Norse paganism a long time ago, i would say i'm quite friendly towards it. I suppose, it would be the first choice for me. Yes, it happend after i installed the driver. In safe-mode or if i uninstall the driver it works fine. Currently got the driver installed (latest) (and i've reinstalled it too) and the analog cable plugged in, and it works, but i'd really prefer having the dvi cable...

DVI-D. I've used this screen (with the cable) before with Vista, so i know it works. There must be some setting in Vista that is wrong... I just can't figure out what. When i used dual monitors yesterday to try and work out what caused it, i went into CCC... It saw my screen and recognised it, but still no picture.

Ok, so i tried the vga cable with the 19" screen and it works. I mean, i won't die if i have to use analog. Now the question is, why doesn't it work with the dvi cable when i log in?

Hi. I just installed Vista on my computer, i got bored of XP and i can't afford to buy Win7 straight away anyway. So, here's the [bleep]ing problem... I'm so god damn sick of the everlasting problem. The screen works fine up until the Vista loading bar. After it finishes, the screen goes "no signal"... Yay. Worked without a problem in XP and worked before on Vista. The screen is some 19" Packard Bell which works fine. I connected a 2nd monitor to see if it was working (17") and it works without a problem. I have the latest driver (ATI), it's clearly not a driver fault since it works with another screen. There's no problem with the dvi port nor the dvi cable as it works up until log-in time. The 19" works if i uninstall the driver or boot up in safe-mode (goes to 1280x1080 in both cases). So, please tell me, what's this screen [bleep]ing about? I'm so fed up with this crap. Also, the 17" screen, the mouse can dissapears into the right quite a bit as if it thinks it has more space to work on than it has. Thanks.

As long as Windows has DX i'll use it. Otherwise i'd probably use another OS.

You should turn it off; 1 - save energy, 2 - flush ram. I turn it off every night, otherwise i exit it in sleep-mode.

Better ask at a local dealer or a proper car forum. The only thing i can think of is, get new suspension. Because your car has an ancient live-axle rear suspension.

I've checked out a lot of the stuff by those bands, but nothing has cought my interest significantly, perhaps apart from Grave (first album is good) and another band called Carnage. I don't really like the buzzy guitar tone that Swedish death metal seems to use a lot. Yeah i suppose. Some music is easier if you've "grown up" with it.

Don't know if you know of any bands from Sweden, but i can recommend you a couple of "classics": Grave, Entombed, Dismember (a personal favorite), Unleashed and Bloodbath. Well, since I'm agnostic I'll join them i guess. I must say, i have gotten interested in Christianity lately - in a historic perspective, not religious.
