Well, i pay for my av (Panda). I'm looking forward to the 2010 version, as they claim it uses 80% less resources, which would be nice. Otherwise i'd suggest Kaspersky or NOD32. For free i'd suggest Comodo firewall+Avira av. But windows firewall is ok too. As for added scanning results i use spybot:search&destroy and ad-aware. But never use them in active mode, as you have your av active already. Just for added search results when you feel like it. Whey, conspiracy! Well, i've so far watched 1h of this video. And i find it, as someone above me stated, laughable. I know for example that AMD/Nvidia worked/works with eachother behind the scenes to drive up prices on their products, tho they are competitors. Just look at the EU, it can override us and they currently working to get Turkey into it (which i don't want, but that's a different matter). But not to the extent these guys claim, i'm pretty sure that if there war more proof for it than it currently is (because this video just looks like a conspiracy cookup to me), then it would be the top-subject... Watching (more listening to) Rush R30 dvd at the moment. Good performance, and i like the live-sound of some of the older songs - they get more "fat". Otherwise i've mostly been watching Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy of late. Latest movie was Black Hawk Down, it was very good.

Hm, forgive me if i got a bit off topic here. There's always a discussion going on about the Holocaust, whether it is in the media, forums, school or in private. Something that really annoys me is that the Soviet work camps and their deportation program seem to have been forgotten. Depending on how you define the Holocaust, (i think) the number is circa 11 - 17m dead. And as there's no exact data from Soviet, it is difficult to determine how many lost their lives via GULAG. The assumption would be, that about as many or a much greater number people lost there lives there as in the Holocaust. I think this is a topic that should be raised much more, especially in the school. During my school years, i've taken extra history classes (as i like history), but i have only vaguely touched this subject. I have spent a great deal of time on the Holocaust, but next to nothing on the Soviet counterpart. I really don't know why this is. Do people place the Holocaust as more important than the extinction of millions in Soviet? I find it very strange.

Well, since i'll probably be taking my diving liscence in the autumn i might aswell pop in with a reply. As a first car, well hmm... There's loads of Volvo 740/Saab 9000 around... Cheap, pretty easy to repair and reliable (well, 740 atleast), bit boring tho. I know i'll buy a bit nicer car when i've worked for a couple of years later on (good thing i'm moving to Germany later as there's much less tax on their cars than here in Sweden). As i've been thinking, well, you spend alot of time in the car, so why not spend a bit on it. I mean, i think the Saab 9-5 is great... But i'd want something a little bit more "special". But not an Audi, BMW or a Merc, too high price for what you get as standard equipment, expensive spare parts, bad customer service (Merc) and if you want a bit of oomph in one of those you'd have to pay alot - too much in my mind. So if i go by current ones, hm... Jaguar x-type is pretty good but still a heafty lump of cash. A pre 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX, ah. Good car, good value. I'm just rambeling on here.

Hmm... Anime/Manga whatever. Rap/hip hop/"butter pop" (Britney e.g.)/"emo" music and a few other genres too. Broccoli and sauerkraut... Yuck!!! Mobile phones, a couple of my friends and many other people out there seem to be obsessed with mobiles. I don't get it. I only got a "new" mobile (sis old one) a couple of weeks ago before mine from 04 broke. I think the buttons are too small - i often press two buttons at the same time, the screen is too small, you don't hear well when talking on them, annoying as [bleep] when people talk loudly on the bus - or listening to music without earplugs on their crappy speaker, they cost too much etc etc. Hm, i know there's alot more, but my brain is a bit shot atm. Uninstall Frostwire/Limewire, search for you old download-programs and delete all of their entries. Remove any old maps, entries and registry keys still left for grokster (you could use CCleaner for that). If it is a seperate program aswell, uninstall it. Rescan with your security software again. Run Esets or Pandas online scanner after this and see if it's still there. I've quickly checked a couple of security suites and all of them deletes it. If it still persists after deletion you can always follow the solution on x encyclopedia. This is really old. As a side note i'd recommend you to get uTorrent instead. Does AT&T see it as only "Grokster" or is it called something else?

Why? What's the big deal? Why not? You get crappy laws and higher prices on media and software because of it. Let me give you an example, here in Sweden we've gotten IPRED as a result of all the pirating. The personal integrity washes away slowly but steady. And another example, one of my favorite games, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 wasn't released to PC due to piracy on the PC market. I don't own an XBOX or a PS3, so i just have to wait until they release their next game on PC or get a console just to play one game. I also find it funny when some in this thread meantions "freedom" and "free information", if anything, you guys should begin with converting from the MS (or Apple) platform to the Linux platform.

10k wouldn't be bad. But it's kinda funny they have to fish for people with money. I must say tho, i actually am a bit annoyed about the EU on Win7. In the EU, Win7 will come without IE installed. EU got too much power (for example, they are working on trying to pass halal-slaughter into the EU law (i [bleep]ing hate it)). I think my biggest problems with IE is that there's too little customization options, too long time before bugs/holes are fixed and also the fact it's integrated in the system so deeply. I have no problem with it being proprietary (i myself use Opera which is proprietary).
