...what theatre do you go to :| The one in my city. There's 2 places, but the 2nd one is a small crap place. The other "main" one has 12 cinema-rooms or something. There's usually alot of middle eastern kids there, and they never shut up even if you tell them off. So i prefer to rent or buy on dvd instead.

Ah great. It won't have a problem at all with it. Even tho you don't intend on gaming, the graphics card performs a bit better than 9800gt, so you have the power there if you ever want to (might be nice to know). Hope it works great :thumbup:

Problem with netbooks are their screen size, around the 10" area. If his going to replace his current computer with a laptop, i wouldn't recommend anything smaller than 13" (15" area is the best in my opinion).

Much better price. 4770 performs better than 9800GT, i guess if you want a faster card you could ask them to remove this one and put in a 4850 or 9800gtx+ instead.

The trailer didn't say much. I'll rent get it on dvd when it comes out later, the cinemas here are awful... Mobiles going off, people talking/screaming etc... As it's a quad it will be faster than the duo, even tho it's 860mhz slower per core. Video editing programs have good support for multiple-cores. And why can't you buy one online from HP?

May i ask a couple of things: What components does your current computer have? Do you know how to build it - or do you plan to pay someone to do it/some friend to build it for you? And you can get Win7 RC from MS' site for free.

^They don't make 3gb sticks. And, i've used 64-bit Vista on desktop and it worked fine. But laptops and desktops are a bit different in their drivers...

3.5gb-ish is the max you get out from a 32-bit OS. Wouldn't recommend it, as your GPU (probably) has 256 or 512mb of memory, which it reserves first and then the rest for the ram. Edit: Ah, 128mb it was. Still, can't recommend it. Better getting 64bit first, before upgrading components.

I've never understood why people do this. The taxpayers pay for the schools (your parents), and you go around screwing the computers up. It's just really idiotic and immature to do something like that.

Får man se er på Sweden Rock? Hehe. Hm, i was in a band a couple of years ago. Just maybe like 10 rehearsals with the guys before i jumped off. I own a guitar (which i still haven't sold) - haven't played it since i was 18 or so. But i found out a few years i could growl quite ok (i guess most similar is singer is Johan Hegg - but a bit darker), which was what i was doing in that band. But they played Children of Bodom stuff, which is really not my sort of thing... So i dropped it. I still practice growling once a week or so, but too lazy to get into any sort of band stuff.
