How about drinking these potions gives negatives? For example, drinking an ancient mage potion: "The mixture seems to have worked, but the transformation drained a great deal of your energy." You lose 40 HP. When not in the wild, you wouldn't care much. Just eat a few salmon or something.

I think something like holy armor might be suited for treasure trails myself. Also, this is more "Bazerker" armour, isn't it?

We need to have an all out, death-in-the-air wilderness. A kill everyone everywhere thing. No level is safe, and the whole thing is multi. So pretty much just all level wilderness. Oh, and they should take away the protect one item as well.

This is all not quite true. JAGEX said they will never make a RS3. If they get offered enough money, they might eventually sell the company, and a huge business empire might put out a RS3. Also, did anyone every consider that jagex said there won't be a RS3 just so it was a bigger SURPRISE when it came out?
