I had a friend go, and he said it was an amazing show. A small venue packed full of people, good music, and a crazy guy who was most likely tripping. He's a big fan though, so who knows. More like half of the people there were tripping. And yes, you should go see them. They're awesome. I took my friend who liked them a little, and now loves them after seeing them live. You should know their music off their first CD to make it really worthwhile.

I'd been hearing rumors of a prayer update around the corner so I went and got 80 prayer while dbones are still at "normal" price. Hopefully it paid off.

It died this summer. Some good lists came from it though.

Uh...could you try to explain how earplugs "don't really work"? Because that's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard haha. Earplugs filter out all the unnecessary overtones and give you a better sound quality from up close. What you heard from a mile away at the Marilyn Manson concert is what you would hear (albeit to a lesser extent) up close with ear plugs. I was just at a VERY loud and energetic concert in a small venue and earplugs made the show very much enjoyable for me.

Sorry, not this time. Neither my friend nor I own a digital camera so we couldn't get any. I'll try to scan the setlist or something.

Can't believe nobody's been to a concert in a whole month on here :? I just got back from The Mars Volta at First Avenue in Minneapolis. The show was spectacular. They've slimmed down the number of band members and have a lot tighter sound than the previous time I saw them. They played a lot of older songs and a majority from Bedlam and De-Loused. I was front row for the ENTIRE show and an absolute blast. I got an officially stamped setlist that they threw to the crowd at the end and a pick that Omar used. Overall I'd say it was my favorite concert I've ever been to :)

As he said, it was NOT the flag of the confederacy. It was simply a battle flag. I did a 15 page report on how the Civil War shaped the way the South became in the last 150 years last semester and I can tell you that the Confederate flag is not a symbol of racism or hatred.

I just got my quest cape after about 3 weeks of non-stop questing. Did them all alphabetically and I had probably 80% of the list to do. I just decided that I wanted to do them all haha. It was pretty fun and I enjoyed how a lot of the storylines are tied together.

I agree with you on #4, but could it have been because he didn't really know how to use it that well? When it was operated before, it was with an alien in it.

I loved the movie, but it shouldn't be on the top list. I think that some people need to either see it again or re-think its message in order for it to be seen as good to them. It really has a brilliant plot.
