The actual RS logo don't look that prominent from the main black of the design. I'm thinking on getting the xmas pack and giving the book to a friend who plays as I already have a copy.

They could always have a money sink on the corrupt weapons. After the weapon or whatever degrades to 0 making it useless you have X amount of minutes to pay X GP to fix it back to full strength or it disappears. The cost to repair could be linked to the lootshare style of system where you could pay with items and they get put on GE or removed from game. This would mean that to pay the upkeep of better weapons to PVP that PVPers would be continually fighting which is what is wanted isn't it?

Pre ordered. I'll give it a go I like to read fantasy novels that's one reason I like to play fantasy based games. A lot of games nowdays have novels to go with them. I just think it will be amusing to see 3 things happen. 1) Actually seeing it on a bookstore shelf. that would give me a smile 2) If at some point they actually use a well known player as a passing character. (I would guess straight off anyone with a vulger name or numbers in their name will be excluded.) 3) When the books come out how many people try to make nicks of any characters from the book just to try and pass themselves off as that person and be famous.

Having just read 6 pages of this and seeing basically that ppl wanted 100x not 10x making 300k tradeable/duelable every 15 minutes I was kind of astonished that allowing something like 300k limits. 300k limits would allow RWT back into the game. 300kx15minutes= 1.2million that can be passed per hour per gold trader if they had maxed out whatever was needed. Now someone posted what the going $ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã rate for 1 mill RS gold awhile ago what it was I cant remember i think it may have only been a few pounds or dollars but it was easily enough to pay a sweatshop goldfarmer and for the boss to keep a large majority.

Most online games have their own urban myths or truths about someone dying/suiciding over a game update or losing valuable game items. Do I believe this one not sure, but am I bothered no not at all. Jagex RS or anything releated to the game is no way toblame for the persons state of mind if any blame is to be cast it would have to go on the parents, teachers or carers for not noticing the persons fragile state.

lets say this update is 100% successful is stopping RWT in RS. Nothing like what you said will actually come about to the people no matter how low down they are on the RWT work scale. If like what the news reports would have us believe RWT is done by large gangs then all that will happen is that they will move any persons involved in the RS side of gold farming onto another game and have them farm on that one instead. The only way anyone would but at serious risk is if the RWT place where all the PC's are set up was raided by police etc.

If you dont like it dont use it it simple. For me I love it one of the better game updates in along time. I now chat to a whole group of ppl that I have known for ages and have fun. As for being useless what about the multigame aspect of RS being able to communicate as a group in Castle wars brings a whole new tactic to it. Same can be said to a lesser extent Pest Control

Myself I like that the party room has been made available to F2P. A nice little fun thing which will prob get alot more use in F2P then what it had in P2P. Anyon wanting free stuf should just go there instead of harrassing others with begging now.

Yep all for it as well, nip it in the bud so to speak. I would love them to take it 1 step further and disallow numbers in player names its one thing I cant stand.

And it may be as simple as having trade turned off and saying they cant trade, to stop all the ppl asking them for stuff.

Thats a daft thing to do as it does nothing accept annoy ppl who then comes here and flame and so it escalates. Its best not to do things like that in the end.

Just going to put some of my answers to your questions. Jagex could really careless about the price of rares they do nothing to manipulate the prices and truth be told dont like the way that things that where ment to be fun have spiralled out of control so if they did put an item in and someone wanted to pay a rare for it that is completly upto the players invovled. If they did add a whole load of items in one go and the servers take awhile to update its no big deal 5 minutes or even 10 minutes for the update to install is a drop in the water when it comes to online games. Try Something a little bigger like WOW, COH etc and see how long one of their updates can take to get even on a semi fast connection. Who says they havent introuduced items needed for POH's or whats needed for it Teak and I think its Mahoghny trees have been around a good while with no aparant use as of yet. You cant say that Jagex will preview each new skill a month before its released because they have only done it with one every other skill just came no fanfare/preview as such I cant see how housing would effect sites like Tip.It in such a bad way as state I really do not get what you are saying about guild halls. If anything was going to effect fansites in the way stated it would have been the offical RS forum and in my eyes it didnt have a dent.

there was a complation thread before tip got updated listing the "history" of RS with updates indexed and dated. I think it got deleted though. That would have been a nice thing to have on the Tip.it main site.

I love the ugly remark, but come on what do they expect for such a small client! Hell I would love to see what they make of RSC. Wonder what jagex think of this maybe we will get another 3d graphics update in 3 years time. :roll: :lol:

I do even something as simple as a trip to moss giants can rake in 25k plus in coins an thats dont include the money that you would get from gems or nature runes and maybe a key half or two.
