  1. Scrub mentality? Is that referring to an animal or something or is it just [developmentally delayed] speak for noob?
  2. So just to clarify this, if skillers should 'suck it up' if they get killed in the Wildy by PKers, so should those who lose their rapiers to 1-item D scimmers, right? Yes. It sucks that you died to someone not risking anything, but if you bring stuff into the wild expect to lose it.
  3. What are you talking about? A pker who is clearly risking items killing someone who is in the wild, which they know is dangerous, and then complaining about being killed vs a pker fighting a 1-itemer? What exactly are you trying to say here? Just by being in the wild with their gear the pker is risking, a team or better pker could come at any minute and kill them. No it's not wrong. And neither is 1-iteming, it's just annoying as hell
  4. Well the opponent is clearly prepared to lose a dragon scimitar o.O Except 1 iteming means you keep your 1 item. (guy didn't originally say 1 item though, that was gringer's addition)
  5. Uhh, how did you get that out of what we said? I'm kind of curious how you landed at that some how .... from here ? He clearly meant that he doesn't want to lose his rapier while he ISN'T one iteming by making the d-scim spec turn off protect item prayer. If you aren't prepared to risk anything, don't go in. If you want to bring items in that you don't want to risk, well, don't bring them in. Stay out or bring in another item
  6. Uhh, how did you get that out of what we said? I'm kind of curious how you landed at that some how
  7. Weeelll then ... don't pk with rapier o.O Bit weird for a PK to be saying that, given their defence along this whole thread has been, "Don't enter the Wilderness if you don't want to get PKed". He shouldn't enter the wild with his RAPIER if he isn't prepared to lose it. Bring a whip or d scim or something, imo untradeables should be lost on death anyway (in the wild and assuming they aren't one of the 1 or 4 items you keep when you die)

Yet if somebody starts shooting at me or my buddy, or trying to blow us up, I have no hesitation in shooting back. Simply put, death is not the worst thing which can happen to you, especially if you are attempting to harm or destroy others' lives. I would rather protect life, but the boundaries of that domain blur in places, and sometimes humans are forced to make an awful choice. When I make them, the one suffering the ill consiquences is going to be the one who forced into existance the situation where I had to make that choice. You're talking about self defence vs after the fact decision making. Personally I think we should give people who get huge sentences (like 20 to life, or life) the choice of doing that time or death (I'd like to see some other things, but those aren't available in the CJS right now).

Zierro it's funny that your study compares rates NOW to back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's when violent crime has been decreasing since the 1970's. And I've told you time and time again that this isn't the case. I'm not even going to respond to your other remarks because I know where it's going to lead

Always start with the bar. Don't put any weight on it until you think you've got it right, then incrementally (by 5 pounds - 2.5 pounds per side) increase it until you can't do more reps that I posted. If you want to see form, just google "military press exrx" or "incline bench press exrx". EXRX is a great website. And as for benching, the best video is http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/dave_tates_sixweek_bench_press_cure

There have been but there aren't enough and they don't happen often enough to bring back a form of capital punishment. It's a pretty stupid example anyway

Im trying to stay lean, not turn into Arnie. 1. It doesn't matter that you don't have much arm muscle. No one has much arm muscle when they start. Know what that means? All you do is start with low weight and add weight until you've got a comfortable working weight. Also your Arnie comment is asinine and really [bleep]ing annoying. You aren't going to look like a bodybuilder over night, over even over a year. YOU DON'T WAKE UP THE HULK. Want to look good? Want good abs? Lift weights. It's a slow and gradual process, every guy that has a nice, strong looking body can lift a lot of weight. You posted wanting to get rid of fat and build muscle. You won't do that without lifting weights. You asked for a routine. You got one. Get off your ass, get to the gym, and stop making excuses. No one is going to look at you funny, people will do one of two things: act like you don't exist cause they're too god damn busy doing their own work out, or two (more likely) offer you friendly advice when they think you need/want some. You aren't going to lose weight and put on muscle without some effort, stop making excuses. Start your working out and watching your diet yesterday. You'll make huge and fast strength/muscle gains your first few months too, it's great watching the weight go up and up and up. Your arm excuse is terrible, I literally started working out when I was 97 pounds. NINETY SEVEN POUNDS. I was the weakest person in the gym for a while, girls lifted more than me. But because I didn't make excuses and ate right I put on weight fast and got stronger fast. lol "tone" Once you go to the gym you will LOVE it, it makes you feel great, boosts your confidence, and makes your body produce endorphins.

One over 10 years old, the other almost 50 years old. Definitely not anywhere near a common occurrence (that probably sounds weird) e: also, his example or whatever was specifically primary schools.
  14. Bloodstain replied to Noxx's topic in Off-Topic
Primary school = K - grade 4 or 5. His example is a bad one because it's so unlikely to happen that we're having a hard time finding any examples. It's one of those extreme examples that will almost never happen, but people use because it's the worst thing they could think of, not the most likely.

So where's the evidence? You were supposed to prove that the lower crime rate was directly related to capital punishment, but you've failed to do that. Also the point of capital punishment isn't really stopping people from having "homocidal" (homicidal) thoughts, it's for retribution
  16. Bloodstain replied to Noxx's topic in Off-Topic
Day care definitely counts, but school shootings aren't elementary shootings. And usually there's a mental component to it too. Definitely not beyond rehabilitation. But of course people would rather see blood and retribution than rehab

    When?
  18. Spoken like a typical skiller. And a wbm  edit: damn it blood^ Spoken like a typical troll. If you brag about planning to PJ, lure, and hunt skillers, you are a [cabbage]bag. And people like that are responsible for giving PKers the bad name that many oh-so-detestable-skillers associate with them. Go back to the RSOF, and take your little buddies with you. So you're one of those people that believe in "honour" in a god damn video game.

Never happened to my knowledge, never will happen. If you want a good example of someone too far gone, you want Carl Panzram. "I have no desire whatever to reform myself. My only desire is to reform people who try to reform me. And I believe that the only way to reform people is to kill 'em." "My motto is to rob em all, rape em all, and kill em all" Guy killed and raped and tortured tons and tons of men and boys. "In my lifetime I've murdered 21 human beings, I've committed thousands of burglaries, robberies, larcenies, arsons, and last but not least I have committed sodomy on more than one thousand male human beings" "My intention was to rob, rape, and kill anybody and everybody" "I am sorry...sorry that I am unable to murder the whole damn human race" "For all of these things, I am not the least bit sorry. I have no conscience so that does not worry me. I don't believe in man, God, nor the devil. I hate the whole damned human race including myself." Granted the guy was a victim himself. It's a damn interesting read, and a tragedy that no psychologists or anything were given access to him http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/serial_killers/history/panzram1/1.html

It's not hard to find studies on the internet. Especially if what you say is true. But it's not, so you won't find any I can back up pretty much every one of my statements, now YOU back up YOURS
  21. Bloodstain replied to Noxx's topic in Off-Topic
You said you're sure you could find reasons on the internet. You have access to the internet now. You admitted you did next to no research for your paper. Why would your paper have any evidence to prove your point aside from your opinion?
  22. Bloodstain replied to Noxx's topic in Off-Topic
You made this topic and made a pretty bold statement, why do we need to wait until the 11th? Is that when you get your paper back with corrections from the teacher?

It would have been helpful to know this two posts ago. People use "States" to refer to both countries and the United States' "States". Should have clarified that in my post, sorry

Here OP, maybe you can learn a few things and some arguing points http://forum.tip.it/topic/245674-capital-punishment-right-or-wrong/
  25. Bloodstain replied to Noxx's topic in Off-Topic
The map shows the opposite. States have, as you have just acknowledged, similar rates and in some cases HIGHER rates of violent crime. Look at western Mexico (No penalty) and California (Does have the death penalty). Look at South Africa and its neighbors. Look at China and Russia. The point of my post was that you failed to do anything other than show which countries have the death penalty in place, while claiming that countries that do have the death penalty have a higher rate of violent crime. When the actual numbers for homicides come in, your statement is completely wrong. How do you confuse states with countries? It may have been a little unclear in my post, but the state part should have given away that I was referring to USA states, as those are actually right next to each other geographically and differ on the death penalty
