  5. Drivel. Oh yeah, and before I forget
  6. Some other interesting tid bits Texas company helped pimp little boys to police http://blogs.houstonpress.com/hairballs/2010/12/wikileaks_texas_company_helped.php As another poster put it: WikiLeaks cables: Jihad? Sorry, I don't want to miss Desperate Housewives Satellite broadcasts into Saudi Arabia doing more to dissuade youths from militancy than US-funded propaganda http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/dec/07/wikileaks-cables-letterman-housewives-saudi I cut some stuff out, but got most of the important stuff.
  7. [bleep] USA and their copyright boner. http://torrentfreak.com/wikileaks-cable-shows-us-involvement-in-swedish-anti-piracy-efforts-101207/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A%20Torrentfreak%20%28Torrentfreak%29 Hope this gets released soon, or we get more confirmation
  8. Wait, exactly which nerf was this? Was this the nerf to the special attack? Because i think that was a bug. Quick look says it was nerfed because it caused a glitch, not that it was a glitch e: actually, I'm not sure now
  9. More: Some thoughts on sex by surprise I'm going to avoid any news articles about this until it's all been hashed out and ruled on
  10. Also, was this study peer-reviewed at all?
  11. lol Also, your OP definition to terrorism doesn't work. I don't see them comparing the studies, I might have missed it, but they mention the other study but never have a section dedicated to comparing. And still, where's the control? Where's the section that tells how they went about their random selection? How do you think a couple hundred to a thousand or two in each area is representative? e: Noted, withdraw previous statement
  12. Opinion surveys have control groups? Not to say I agree with the implication of the thread, but I'm not sure surveys work that way. He keeps referring to it as a study. And if you're going to make claims like 10% of Muslims are terrorists, then you'd better have a control. What's the opinion of non-Muslims, or other religions? How do you know there aren't more "terrorists" (LOL at calling them terrorists) in other religions? What were their methods? "Random" isn't specific enough. Why do they think a few thousand is good enough to generalize to hundreds of millions? That's not a representative sample IMO. Which statistic are you extrapolating this "10% are terrorists" claim? Because they never state that in the survey
  13. If Glen Beck uses it, you can bet that there's something wrong with it Right, so a study conducted by several respected groups, cited by Glenn Beck is enough for you to dismiss that study as "biased"? Something here is biased, but it isn't the study. No, but it's enough to make me skeptical. What exactly is the control group in this study?
  14. Then again, I doubt they're all Christian ;) Bet a lot of them are, since the majority of Americans are Christian. Just like a large number of people in the countries they did this study are Muslim. Really doesn't matter that they are Muslim. Also the sample sizes at quick glance at your study list numbers like 600, which is pretty small... e: If Glen Beck uses it, you can bet that there's something wrong with it This is what I was trying to say
  15. LOL, man oh man Ironic? Read the next paragraph from the press release: Shameless. You really could not make it up. http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/blog/2010/dec/07/wikileaks-us-embassy-cables-live-updates
  16. If killing innocent civilians = terrorism, then the US government is a terrorist organization. What percentage of the American population do you think would advocate for hurting, bombing, torturing, killing, invading, etc Muslims? I'm betting a lot. Pretty logical for lots of Muslims to hate the USA and want them hurt after what the US has done to them LOL owned
  17. Read more: http://news.cnet.com/8301-31921_3-20024776-281.html#ixzz17OW0OonK Welp, that's Master Card, Paypal, Amazon, and the Swedish Bank
  18. The position of a manipulative speechwriter working for him, but his words nevertheless. Source? http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/Freedom_of_Information_Act/
  19. The Government should not keep information confidential merely because public officials might be embarrassed by disclosure, because errors and failures might be revealed, or because of speculative or abstract fears. Nondisclosure should never be based on an effort to protect the personal interests of Government officials at the expense of those they are supposed to serve. - Barack Obama Jan 21, 2009
  20. They've released less than .5% of the documents And every time they've made a huge deal about the newest release. And it seems everything up to this point has just been gossip... If they don't make a huge deal about it, or if they release it all at once like the Iraq ones, no one will pay attention. This is the kind of stuff that should be reported on, and I'm assuming the best stuff will come out later. Also, you saying it's just gossip just proves that you have no fricken clue what has been released so far
  21. They've released less than .5% of the documents
  22. No, what he's saying is that in some of the cables coming out people mention UFO's, not that they are a central subject. Basically mentioning UFO's in passing in a cable about something completely unrelated.
