edit--I would say the fact the US has stopped quite a few terror plots and hasnt been attacked since 9/11 is fairly good supporting evidence, admittedly this is a bit cliched but that hardly denies the reality of it. That's not evidence. In certain cases, of course torture is going to work when you've tried nothing else. Care to tell me what attacks and plots they've prevented though and what methods they tried before torture?

If torture worked, then there would be tons of evidence indicating that from others countries in the past, there would be studies able to show it's effectiveness but there are none.

well the Us wont release the documents that show evidence gained from torture, were too busy apologizing for waterboarding.(hate to bring something this political but its accurate) More related, if non torture related methods are proven as more effective then of course we should abandon methods that are more objectionable if they arent better. If torture was effective it would be universally effective and there would already be lots of evidence and studies proving it to be effective, which there are none. But hey, USA USA USA! I'm still awaiting hard empirical proof that torture is anywhere near effective at doing anything aside from getting fake confessions . Rapport building is effective, I've given you evidence for it.

And because the OP on zybez was a moron I did research for his side of the argument so the question here is, did the torture push him to become a suicide bomber in order to get back at the Americans and to encourage others to do so? Another question: If you were taken by Al Qaeda and they tortured you, and then you were released or rescued or what ever, would you want to kill them? Ugh, there was a topic about this on zybez by some uninformed teenager who thought torture is some sort of magical way to get information and that every at gitmo is a terrorist. I've been ranging green drags for cash for a while. At 87 def + super defense sip + range pot sip I only need 5 monks per trip (that's a trip with a terror bird too). I use full void + glory + broad bolts and make quite a bit of money. I hit up to 33 when potted so I can kill them pretty darn quick. Really quite slow exp though 88 range btw

Sorry but I like to play my games, not work on them. If you consider a game work you shouldn't be playing it. Move on or stop complaining, this isn't rants. I consider your version of the game to be work. My objective is not to max out 99 skills for no reason, and train things for huge amounts of time when I'm not enjoying it. My objective in this game has always been to do what I see fit at any given time, and to constantly look forward to a new and exciting gaming experience. They have provided this at a fairly steady rate over the past few years, and over the past year especially. CB, summoning, Stealing Creation tools...just to name a few. Each bringing new useful and exciting content to the game. The entire reason I play an MMO is to have a game that will never get old. I don't play the game to grind/level up either, but to actually get the most out of it you need to work/grind to some degree. I've been playing for 5+ years and those are my stats V, thing is all the fun things take a amount of grinding like GWD or good summons and what not compared to non-MMORPGS where you can actually enjoy everything off the get go. Alright, I gotcha. But if I remember correctly, when phats were rising 3A was still rising. Third age crashed because jagex increased the amount they could fluctuate daily, so everyone sold it and now bought phats. Phats rose because people sold third age and invested in phats.

There's never been a "riot" in runescape. There's been a bunch of cry babies standing in the same spot spamming and not actually doing anything constructive, and then taking credit when jagex change their mind because a hand full of individuals actually talk to jagex and discuss it, but never a "riot". You are trying your best to make any connection to barrack "hussein" obama's communist tax policy to the overlords of 1773.
