That's pretty sweet. I always wonder two things about this kind of party though: 1) How do you not get alcohol all over your fancy clothes? That pretty much always happens to me at least once, whether it's my drink or someone else's. 2) Do you remove your shoes when you enter the house? How does a gentleman not wear shoes?
  3. She's pretty hot. Do you think lv. 8 [rooster] of the Infinite will reach 66 miles away? It should right?
  4. I made an account on OKCupid, just to check it out. There are some really funny profiles out there. "As your probably figured from my username, I have a thing for wizards. So, if you have a thing for wizards, or you are one, we could probably get along sexually."
  5. What does your profile look like?

You need at least some hair on your forehead.
  7. The guy. He's the one who's worrying even though the texts are just not coming through (which is why they all arrive simultaneously).
  8. Could be phone issues. It's pretty crazy how many times I've had a buddy start flipping because a girl isn't answering, and then they get 5 simultaneous texts from that girl.
  9. This was a lot more elaborate when I had first thought about it, but I'm missing half of what I was thinking, including what idea I was disagreeing with.
  10. I don't know if this counts, but the reason why we're under the impression the mind is located in the head and not in the rest of the body is because most of our sensory organs are there, especially our eyes. Instinctively we place ourselves behind those sensory organs, despite the fact that, if my limited understanding of neurology is to be trusted, it can be said that the spine thinks. Am I being clear? If yes, am I being wrong?
  11. Thanks.

Just put two pairs of socks on. Save that 120$ for something you'll wear outside.

@Crocefisso: http://putthison.com...hy-this-matters Their videos are pretty light on objective arguments but this one's pretty good: http://putthison.com/post/1003890136/put-this-on-episode-3-work-itunes-vimeo
  14. Learn to cook, if you don't already know how. Bread and Nutella are not dinner.
  15. I've decided to just trash everything save for the HD and to turn it into an external drive. Any recommendations?
  16. Majority of people who have that mindset are bitter
  17. This is interesting, excited to see your results.
  18. http://answers.yahoo...d=1006041815844 ? Hunting could be it, especially if when she sees her favourite hominid she heads towards him or her.
  19. Seems to me like being explicit about this isn't the way to go.
  20. Man, that seems like an awful lot of effort for a girl you couldn't be bothered to talk to twice. Do what Muggi said if you like, but I don't see where this is going (at least from what you wrote).
  21. This isn't your average FWB relationship. This girl was raped. Even if he had specified there are no strings attached, this would still be a shitty situation--not his problem, but still shitty. It's not really a matter of responsibility; as much as I'd like to say he's a dickhole, I couldn't justify it. A matter of responsibility is when the question is "Is he in the black or in the gray?". It's not his responsibility (that's her brother's, not that he could do anything about it at this point, but anyway), so he's at least in the gray. What I'm saying is this situation sucks, in the same way natural disasters do, and that it would be cool if someone helped out. This can only be a matter of altruism, the root of which is empathy, not guilt. I don't even know if we're arguing frankly. I'm trying to get him to put himself in her shoes in the hopes that he won't want to end it. If I'm reading you right, you're saying if he ends it, he doesn't have to explain anything, and that it's his fault that he's in this situation. Correct?

You're presupposing God doesn't exist. if you weren't, you wouldn't be able to say our ancestors created the idea.
  23. He's more important to himself, but his issue is a lot less pressing than hers I think. I think he'd do well to at least try to understand what's freaking him out about this.
  24. Oh yeah, I'm getting nothing of the sort. I'll take a look at that thread and tell you what I get.
