  1. Lol reading comprehension etc etc Also a funny video http://gawker.com/5716043/barney-frank-makes-a-fool-out-of-conservative-reporter-over-dont-ask-dont-tell I admit, the nonchalance surrounding that particular issue somewhat confuses me. If people are really so in control of their urges that it's a non issue, why don't we have men and women showering together? Barney Frank's reasoning isn't that clever, the reporter just couldn't think of anything to say. Doesn't make the former right. The thing is you know when you're showering with someone of the opposite sex, whereas you don't know when you're showering with a gay person of the same sex.

Scorched, I remember you said you were working on losing weight, how has that been coming along? Also jackthreads is having a Sebago sale. Limited stock (i.e 6 styles, 3 of which are typical boat shoes) but most sizes available. Farah gear is also available. Cool shirts.
  3. Well if she's definitely a lesbian there's nothing there, obviously your friend sounds like a better choice. What band?

^The Gap, Club Monaco. fastortoise, Le 31 is anything but top quality. I have at least 8 holes in the back of the neck of the sweater I bought from them this summer... Good thing my mom is good at stitching. The city's pretty cool, it's much better in the spring/fall though, and JazzFest is wicked. I'll try to come and bring some friends during march break. I bought a gray corduroy shirt at the Gap, somehow managed to lose it within an hour of buying...
  5. Can't really help you on that... You could ask her about her sexual orientation for a start.
  6. The thread title reminds me of the first post (way before the thread was cut), signed by Nadril. It went something like "Yes, drop her off at my doorstep tomorrow". Original thread title has to stay within the first post if we change it.
  7. I did copper sulfates in chemistry class back in 7th grade.

Montreal Boxing week breakdown: I bought Club Monaco selvedge jeans (190$ -> 46.73$ [bleep]ers) which I will be shrinking in the bath shortly and a CM blue gingham shirt (98$ -> 40$) that I have to get shortened the sleeves. Simons was [cabbage]ty, they only have ugly-ass Nudie and G-Star noise. Wasn't expecting anything from H&M so I wasn't really disappointed.
  9. So, you played Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, and Soul Silver? (By the way, Pokemon Green was a Japan only version with graphics even worse than Blue and Red.) It was available in my hometown in Morocco... Well there weren't many places you could buy legal games in my hometown though.
  10. no Blue no Red not even Yellow And now you know why I still haven't replied to your PM.

Employers aren't necessarily right in that X activity should be looked down upon, but they still have an impact on you. Also, according to your logic, you should stop doing basically everything.

My mom likes it. She bought some from a company called Dutch Oven.

Thanks OP! I think you edit the first post, full editor. [hide] Distant sounds(? I can't hear the "ow" of sound) rallied their troops tonight, but you don't listen, you don't listen Creatures crawl out of your yard but you don't listen, you don't listen  Dogs are barking at your door, but you don't listen, but you don't listen  Tearing to shreds clothes/all that you own(? sounds like it) but you don't listen, but you don't listen Fog is settling 'round your house tonight, but you don't listen, you don't listen  Silent lightning shines so bright, but you don't listen, you don't listen  When sparks(clocks?) come crashing through your window, you might listen, you just might listen! Spinning ---- you might listen, you just might listen! (spitting fire on all that you own?) Still it's a sweet night, for mademoiselle and I  Your hand is holding mine and we shake off the tremors  Lay down your head a while, come on show me that smile, It was such a good city for dreamers  [/hide]
  15. That's a hideous flame job.

I'm not in the metal community and I think a lot of music I don't listen to is good (Vangelis is a good example). I'm just saying these lyrics are unpalatable... Sure, they're having fun, but that's not all art's about, not according to me. They could do much better.
  17. Only good Pokémon games are first generation.
  18. You need to make the first steps. She's deeply affected and probably doesn't know what she's doing wrong, but you can see the situations from both sides. If you don't know it, she won't, because she's under lots of stress and doesn't even know how. The simple answer would be to suck it up up as much as possible.
  19. Well considering they don't exist it might as well be a Metapod. I'm [cabbage]ting my pants.

Lyrics are supposed to be poetry. Whoever wrote this has no steez (cliche as [bleep], see "breathe again", "soul at rest", writing about being cheated on) can't make a rhyme, and there's no rhythm (though I guess screaming lends itself to neither). The song start with "[bleep] you". Do you realize how deeply boring that is? 10 years-olds say that when they're mad. Past that age you come up with something better. Look at the lyrics in my signature. That's style. That's saying something in a way no one ever has. [hide=for future readers]Go plow some other fields and try to forget my name We'll see what harvest yields and supposing I'd do the same I planted rows of peas and by the first week of July They should have come come up to my knees but they were maybe ankle high.[/hide] And I still haven't touched on the instrumental, but I guess the look on the drummer's face and the amount of emotion with which the guitarists are strumming says it all. Now that this has been said, can this be the thread for figuring out lyrics to any song?

Why not Vans? Do you just mean that Fred Perry type of thing instead of canvas oxfords?
  24. Omar replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
    Well that's an anticlimax...
  25. Thought of that too. Try to burn the charger with a lighter, if it's partly plastic it probably won't hold properly.
