  1. They don't ban people for macroing unless they have substantial evidence. They just can't show it to you, as people could just use it to avoid being caught in the future. As to your appeal, give it time. I'm sure they get tons of appeals and they get backed up. This is, probably, your last chance appeal, though.
  2. New hardware is unlikely to cause much in the way of performance problems. I'd start with virus/spyware scans, if that turns up nothing, try defragmenting your HD. Another, slightly unconventional problem I've had frequently is CPU temperature, but that's usually characterized with overall good performance, with a sudden drop in speed. Had to replace several fans on 2 of my machines. Just another idea. If all else fails, a reformat should solve your problems, but it takes a long time to back everything up and reload drivers
  3. It was when it was first released. I took the same approach as I did when I first saw DK's: I took no armor, a junk melee weap, and some food and hoped my prayer could get me through it. It was a while before I went back, but my first ACTUAL trip was very uneventful. I didn't die, I was able to kill all the brothers and eventually get to the chest. I just took every trip one at a time, and slowly improved on my methods until I got to where I am today (no ppots necessary, using slayer dart).
  4. Sure beats the pants off of just adding more skills that no one likes
  5. If they hadn't nerfed the speed, it'd be the anchor. Unfortunately, speed pulls a lot more weight than str and att bonuses, so killing the speed killed its usefulness. I'm just glad I got about 300k exp before they nerfed it the first time :D
  6. yuh-nill Does it really matter that much one way or another?
  7. Rares: Just 1 green mask Skill capes: 1.5 (cooking and quest )
  8. Does anyone actually use 78 anymore? Anywah, it's not too early to start, but you might have a hard time finding good worlds.
  9. I'm guessing it's a tech demo. It's to show that they can change the surroundings based on where players are standing. It may not do anything now, but look for something cool in the future
  10. Farming. Or herblore, i suppose. I really want a bright green cape (str and fletching are lame green).
  11. It's the sort of update that needs to get done so that it's not the exact same for years and years. When cities get redesigned, they spend more time adding small details that add to the ambiance, which does improve the game (remember the old lumbridge?). As the game grows, the places the people see most should improve with everything else
  12. I like the barrage hit. I never thought about using multi attack stuffs there. Seems like it would be good exp. ... ... ... *goes to hunt some red chinchompas*
  13. It does. You have to put money in (a lot if you want to be at all profitable) to get any resources back. However, I find it very worth it. Make sure you've done royal trouble, put 2m in (if you can), set to a combination of flax and maples (I prefer all flax and half maples), get your approval rating to 100%, and come back in 2 weeks. Easy 600k+
  14. I'm not gonna lie. I'm torn between these two sides. On one hand, i want to help people and make others happy. On the other hand, if someone asks "Can i have 10k plz!!!!!!!!!" one more time, I'm gonna lose it. There's something to be said for the true effect of the kindness you're willing to give. To the common beggar, giving 10k doesn't really do much. You have merely provided them with the ends they were seeking. They're about as thankful and pleased with you as I am to the people of Miscillania every time I unload 10k flax (which is to say, not at all). It's when people are in a jam, and they truely need help, when being the flame is really important. For example, a level 80 dies and loses his brand new whip at hellhounds, and you pick it up, pm him, find him, and give it back. You know they worked forever to raise the money they needed to buy that thing, and they are CRUSHED when they die (this is how many people quit). By doing the right thing, and not keeping it, you will make this person's month, and they will truely be thankful for helping them out of a huge jam. In case you skimmed that last lengthy paragraph, my point is this: kindness goes a long way sometimes, and not so much others. If you hate beggars and value your sanity, help people out of tough spots, but don't encourage the lazy to continue to be lazy. You can't help everyone.
  15. Wow. I never knew chinchillas got so big. I figured guinea pig sized, but they can aparently grow to the size of a small cat. Cute, but they look like a pain to take care of
