We're losing one of our party members in a month. Shame, but she's rarely able to make sessions, so if I was forced to cut one of us loose it'd be her. Not sure if we'll bring a new person in to fill her spot, I feel like DM plus four is the perfect number, just enough different angles and opinions to make things more fun. Want to fly out to Australia every fortnight and join our game, RPG?

Prodigy is great. When I first got into music, it was among the first wave of stuff I got from my mates. I love my Music for the Jilted Generation, but any of their first four albums are excellent starting points, I think. Fat of the Land's probably the safest because Breathe, Smack my [bleep] Up and Firestarter, though. I don't tend to feel bad or guilty, I can't really help it. I think it's a good thing in a way. Chances are I can't support the actual artist any more, unless it's someone in a band and the band cruises on, but realistically I don't do much to support musicians as it is. I'm still a filthy pirate and I can count the amount of gigs I've been to on one hand, while I can count the amount of merch and CDs, etc. I've bought without going over 100. I'm pretty terrible, but it's a good starting point to finally make the plunge on an artist. I'd downloaded all of Bowie, but when he died I really delved in, and now it's at the point where I'll recommend him and it's not just because he just died, it's because I know a bit more, and if someone buys some Bowie stuff because of me, that's how we do. Bowie's a terrible example because it's god damn David Bowie, but he was the first one that came to my head.

In love with Farewell Transmission. I know like two of his other songs. As tribute to Keith Flint, I listened to my personal favourite through again, Music for the Jilted Generation.

Am I allowed more than one vote?

I too will add the same opinion and agree. Metropolis Pt II is still probably one of my all-time favourite albums, but since Black Clouds and Silver Linings, the only reaction to a new DT album is seemingly 'Oh neat, I'll give that a spin when I get a chance.'

Yeah I watched all of Swampletics in like a day and now I'm craving the next ep. The first AOTY contender of 2019 has arrived, and it is Malibu Ken.

I had no idea what you were talking about, then I googled it and watched the entirety of the first videos that appeared about him. I might have to go back and start from the start. This is fun. Someone randomly mentioned this band in a video I was watching and it's fantastic.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Dax replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
We'd never played any Kingdom Hearts or whatever [other game] was, while we loved the hell out of the first Jak and Daxter, so the choice was pretty clear to me. Jokes on us, 'cause the second one was a massive tonal and gameplay shift away from the first. I still love 'em, though. -
What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?

Once upon a time my younger self was in a games shop with my ex-ex stepdad and he gave my brother and I a choice. 'I can get you Kingdom Hearts 2 and [Other Game] or just Jak 2. You decide.' Surprisingly we ended up picking one game over two and got Jak 2 instead. I still wonder what person I would be if we picked KH and the other. I probably wouldn't be calling myself Dax online at the very least. -
I think both Nurses are objective bangers and I think they're pretty interchangeable. Edit: Actually nah, Failure is better, they're both excellent though. Passive is flawless. Fresh new cut from an interesting, though not always this good, collaboration. Looking forward to the second album, if this is any indication of what we're in for.

I think my school mates still hate me for me saying generally I prefer A Perfect Circle to Tool. I know they definitely hate me for saying that generally I prefer Audioslave to RATM. All Tool albums are a fair shout, and I wouldn't look down on someone preferring one to another, but I'd probably throw in with 10,000 Days as my pick.

I have now listened to the album. I agree with Rpg. Nothing terribly exciting. It's neat in a way I guess? And, I mean, an album out of nowhere is always nice, but I'd rather just listen to the originals.

I saw they dropped that album out of nowhere. It's on the to-listen list for this weekend. I'm kinda worried. Only just found out that the front man of That Handsome Devil released a rap album last year. Pretty neat.
