  1. My mum'd only have country music going. So let's do some country. I Like It, I Love It, by Tim McGraw. Great choon to play at the highest volume.
  2. Pump It Up, by Elvis Costello. Quite a groovy song. Wonder if it'd even make an impression if the Rogue Traders never sampled it.
  3. Square Hammer, by Ghost. Yet another choon and a half by this awesome band. When your EP is as good as your last album, you know you're doing something very, very right. Definitely gonna be spinning this multiple times daily for a while.
  4. Redneck, by Lamb of God. God damn metal as hell.
  5. I tried to get into Monster Hunter 3, and I just didn't get the monster hunter formula either. I threw myself at it for six hours, bought the DS attachment to make it easier to play, and nothing. Which is really weird, considering my favourite part of my favourite game (FFXII) are the monster hunts, and the thing I've been having the most fun with in Witcher 3, are again, the contracts.

Oh man, my laptop copped a beating with the pirated games. I'd just finished school, was poor, and had a year off before I was planning to do anything serious.

*would likely still be using his $700 5 year old laptop today if he didn't get the urge to buy a sick gaming PC*
  8. May 16, by Lagwagon. Onya THPS2, for some sick beats. Though Guerrilla Radio's my pick from the soundtrack, and was one of the first songs to really get me into music, ya still gotta love this track.
  9. Fighting in Built Up Areas, by Ladytron. Such a great track, and it's a huge shame I couldn't track down all of their work, just a best-of compilation. Maybe it's time for another browse.
  10. Black, White and Blue, by Ladyhawke. Always time for a good Ladyhawke choon.
  11. What are you first impressions thus far? It's brilliant. Story, as usual for Witcher games, is top notch. Combat is super fun and super satisfying. Sidequests are entertaining, even if the mission is finding an old lady's cooking pan. And it's just fun in general cruising around exploring. My only gripe so far is how quickly my swords break, but it gives a good excuse to head back to town to sell loot, I guess.
  12. So I got Witcher 3 today, and I already have 4.5 hours up. I love when games hook me this quick, this well.
  13. Gardenia, by Iggy Pop and Co. Another amazing song called Gardenia. How 'bout that.
  14. Gardenia, by Kyuss. That fuzz, though.

I'm going to be in NSW this weekend.
  16. Silk Suits, by Kram. Great solo project, one that I prefer to his other efforts.
  17. Genki Shank, by Adebisi Shank. I was introduced to these guys as a band similar to Battles. I can see the similarities, but they're more like a band that I can't think of at the moment. Love 'em anyway.
  18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXa9tXcMhXQ The Robots, by Kraftwerk. Some weird electronic nonsense from 1977. I love it.
  19. It sounds like you've never seen Kiss before. I hope you've seen Kiss before. Blood Everywhere, by Knives Out. Heavier Polkadot Cadaver/Dog Fashion Disco. Good for times when you need it.
  20. What? Kiss? What a [racist term] Know?, by KMD. Sick DOOM project before DOOM.
  21. Lick It Up, by Kiss. Cheers Vice City Stories, for turning me onto my favourite Kiss song that I would have never heard otherwise.
  22. Everybody's Gonna Be Happy, by the Kinks. Discovered it through a QOTSA cover, now I groove to the original.
  23. The River, by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Though I'm super critical of all their new releases sounding a bit too similar for my tastes, they do have a great presence and some amazing tracks.
  24. I essentially flipped a coin between Inquisition GOTY and Witcher 3 GOTY. Let me know how Inquisition goes. Heh.
  25. Three of a Perfect Pair, by King Cimson. Such a great band.
