  1. Hmmm... Can you give me an idea of what kinda losses I'll be taking if I always use watermelons? I mean it's like 6-7k a patch! I guess that making compost will help, and you can take more watermelons with you, as a BoB can be used as well. But I mean I have to plant Nasturtiums too, which eliminate my 2.5 -3.5k profit from limps/marigold. Not looking that great, although I know you get more XP.
  2.   Well, Now I feel kinda stupid... But I'd like to point out that the list in the guide doesn't even list a use for blue charms until level 78 - which I don't expect to EVER reach. So that, and a bit about the red charms was what I was asking about - I understand what I'll be using my gold and green for. I want to get my summoning up enough that I can have the lv 52 BoB, so I'll take your recommendation for waterfiend killing, then it will probably be slayer for the rest, unless I have a real need for a higher level. Now that I feel like I've asked a bit of a stupid question, I'll make it up by logging my charms drops for you when I start training. But still, I mean why not make pyrelords with crimson when you can? And I have no idea when to use my blue charms - It's not like I want to make titans!
  3. I've thought about this as well, a lot. Do you have any idea how much time you saved? If It is enough, it might be cost-effective to just make money and plant a higher - level tree.
  4. Mate, it's not about what you wear while you fletch, it about where you fletch. Above a waterfall is always relaxing, although it is not really practical. The Tzar caves are always a good place too - high levels to chat with, and there is actually a bank!
  5. I'm kinda trying to make money from this too, you see, and using watermelons costs me double. I already use make s.compost using pineapples - I have hundreds of them! Also, if you did not understand, I already plant the seeds I get from combat. I'm asking if I should buy watermelon seeds instead of strawberry seeds.
  6. Unfortunately, there really isn't a great way of fetching, and making money. My suggestion is to reach 70 somehow (Willow is slower, but cheaper then maple), then buy yew longs (u), and add a string. Sell them, and you make about 10-35gp profit per bow.
  7. Love the banner - love the guide, but I did not find some information. I'm level 16 summoning, as I quit when I thought summoning sucked, but anyway, I'm coming back. And I'll obviously need to focus on summoning. So what I ask you is this: Since I want to get to level 52 for a good BoB, and have no charms, should I use the crimson and blue charms I get getting there? Also, what monster should I kill, trying to get the charms I need to get to 52. I figure I'll use all my greens on Compost Mounds, as I like their forage, (think I should switch to macaws, and then magpies instead?) and unfortunately will have to use the gold charms on stupid crabs until I can make a bull ant, but I'm really not sure if I should use the blue and crimson charms on such low level monsters, I want a second opinion. I want to get to level 69 eventually, which will probably be done through slayer. Which probably means a month or two of slaying? It might be useful to others if you posted you answer on your guide, too. I did not find any info elsewhere.
  8. About hops - it takes 75 minutes to grow, and, at an average of 8 hops a patch, (my average, with deaths into account) you get only 1k XP. Now, the hops are pretty much useless, I think we can all agree, and besides they are dirt cheap at the GE anyway, at 46gp, and that should only fall. The only use I can think of is brewing, but here is why brewing is kinda useless: stuff[/color] (which takes about an hour to get) you probably will get 8 mature ones, which sell for 1kea (not like there is a market for them) ...Otherwise you can sell them for 300ea, for 2.4k. Yeah, I have better ways of spending my time, making money, getting cooking XP. The other possibility is to just sell the hops, at 46gpea. Your costs: [list=]2.7k for supercompost 360gp for the seeds Whatever runes you use to get there ...And most importantly, your time. That is, at 8 a patch, about 1.5k. If lucky, you can get 1k farming XP from that. I'd be spending 2.5k for 1k farming XP. If that took me 10 minutes extra, in which i could have earned about 60-80k, I might as well plant a yew tree instead, getting 7k XP, and (kinda) having spent nothing. It makes no sense for anyone beyond level 45 to plant those. Can you PLEASE remove them from you guide, now?
  9. I'm planing to start farming again, as I want to plant a spirit tree, and I only have 74 farming. I've always planted most every patch, (except the useless ones, like hops) but with the sheer amount of experience I need to reach my goal, I'm wondering whether I should keep planting things like strawberries. I'm not in a terrible hurry, I mean I don't plant magic trees or palms, but I do plant things like papayas. I've been away for a while, so I'm gonna ask all our farmers here at tip.it if it is worth it to continue to plant such small things like strawberries and watermelons. Just some in information, but I used to plant strawberries with seeds I bought, and only watermelons when I had the seeds from slayer. I will never stop planting herb seeds, I make too much money :) I also used to plant limpwurt seeds, as I made about 2k a seed, minus cost of deaths. I also plant poison Ivy bushed in 2, I think? of the bush patches, with the others being out of my way. Oh, and I have next to a zero in summoning. Is it worth it to raise that first, before I farm? Really, any comments are helpful.
  10. I left runescape after the incredibly flopped first release of summoning, but a friend is pressuring me to come back to spend time with her, and I think I might. Anyway, some questions: How much bankspace is there now for members,as compared to earlier? How much inflation has there been, and in what sectors(runes, armor, etc...)? Where should a high level train combat? Are the newest 6 quests difficult? Is the new bank interface what we wanted? How good are beasts of burden, and what else is summoning good for? Oh, and, what is tip.it's clan chat channel now? Please tell me it was just moved... Thanks.
  11. I am quite well aware what they ARE, ty very much. I know that they are not good for much, except saving space. I want to know on what occasions you have used them to save space, and see if I will ever do that. I still need to know what monsteres you have killed that drop them regularly. If I will kill those monsters, then I will probably keep them in my bank.
  12. Ya, and you know how much it costs for 99? 3 2500 000 000GP!
  13. 10/10, superly good! This is a very good map! IF you (or some other nice soul) makes a map with the portals, the chaos dungeon will be the best place to train! Oh, BTW, what's up with the portals that say something about not being used yet?
  14. I was once in search of cabbages from those monsters. They drop noted cabbages, 30-50. Anyway, I must have killed 800. Maybe, 35 shells? Not good, terribly slow. I got 15k cabbages, tho
  15. 10/10! Very nice  ... Now, can you please be nice and tell us where you got the charms from? Or did your friends give you pouches, and you just made them into scrolls?
  16. Ok! So Jagex is filled with a bunch of lying jerks who like to ruin our game! .....You've told us that. We (at least the inteligent people) realise that, so, NOW what? Why don't you just stop reading BTS and the diaries? If it realy bothers you to be dissapointed like that, just don't read them! What do you want us to do? Jagex wants us to se the price, although, TBH, I doubt that anyone will sell at that price. I'm ticked too, though. Just pointing this out.
  17. With small nets, not big nets. The Granite Crab is big net fishing. ppl bignet for seaweed No they don't! You can pick&cook kelp, and still have time to get 2X the xp fishing monks! So rock crabs are useless!
  18. Remember, there will be more creatueres released in Feb! Although the KB tells us only 4 charms are used to summon monsters now, I expect 2 more charms for the feb update.
  19. Do wolf whisle. That's what you're meant to do.
  20. OK, I need to get into spider isle, but, I forgot how. Can someone remind me? BTW, spider isle is south of yannile, and east of gu'an'toth.
  21. 3 co-ordinate qlues in one clue,... All of them Wildy, and no known pic. Bad for me, good for the guide. [hide][/hide] [img=http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z286/darkestmonk/cluescrollco-ordinates1943n2507e.jpg]
  22. Here's my second! [hide][/hide] [img=http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z286/darkestmonk/cluescrollco-ordinates2456n2228e.jpg]
  23. Here's a new wildy clue! [hide][/hide] [img=http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z286/darkestmonk/cluescrollco-ordinates1625n2701e.jpg] I've used your guide so much to save me countless running around, So I figured the least I could do was contribute.
  24. No, mail in canada certainly does need a stamp! I don't know what you did, but if you don't put a stamp on an envelope, it won't go anywhere. i would guess that you had previously given the letter to your parents, who had put a stamp on it for you, but this time you just put it into some postal box. Now it is sitting in the post office, not going to be sent anywhere. umm no :| as i said ive sent mail for membership subscription several times for over a year without a stamp, ive never had problems. I don't get it. Unless you had a prepaid envelope, you need a stamp of some sort to send any mail. You make ne sense to me. You need a stamp to send anything in the mail, unless you have a prepaid envelope. It's that simple.
