Actually, nowadays a lot of people don't consider SOAD in the nu-metal genre considering how there is no rapping (a couple hip-hop beats now and then). SOAD is not and has never been nu-metal -.- They are Alternative Metal. Major difference. . Yup, I agree with you on that.

I dunno what you like, so check out Godsmack. Its actually more of an alt. metal band rather than nu metal since there is no rapping or hip-hop beats in any of their songs.
