The thing you're not understanding is that when we were in the same situation the times before and i would try something, she would always tell me no, or stop, or wait i'm not ready. So clearly she didn't want it then, how was i supposed to know she wanted it this time? Because everytime she lets the opurtunity in, it's an OPURTUNITY. She's wrestling with herself a bit, but she expects you to push her over the edge. She doesn't like it when you don't. We are men, we are expected to be "foreceful" and persuasive. She wouldn't keep entering the same situation if she didn't want anything to happen with it. Maybe not the first time, maybe not the second time [hell you don't go off the diving board when you first start swimming do you? No you [bleep]ing pinky toe that shit until you like the water] but after a few trial runs you bet your ass she's good to go. She wants you to fight for her, to validate her. Which I find super unattractive and uncool. BUT it makes it super easy to get in her pants with a little effort. And that's all she really wants in the end. A little effort. I'll conclude my post in saying this: a healthy romantic relationship requires sex. Consistently, even if not frequently.

brother's birthday. spent most of the day nursing a hangover, then went out for milkshakes. Watched some TV. meh.

Self induced insomniac here. It started as a way to hang out with all my friends in a day, and it grew into something uglier. Now I sleep about 12 hours a week if I'm lucky. So your watching videos til 2am and waking up at 7am isn't a healthy habit and you should likely stop while you still can. I'm at the point where I stay up for 2 days just to get tired enough to take a 2 hour nap and go to work half the time. What I recommend to solve this issue: 1) during the day BE ACTIVE. Like super active. Run. Lift. Whatever. Talk to many people, tire your mind with thoughts during the day. 2) shower before bed, but don't use cold water. Cold showers are for mornings. 3) read at night with a headboard lamp. Tire your eyes and thoughts. 4) go to bed roughly 9 hours before needing to wake up. 5) don't eat anything too sugary after lunch. 6) DO NOT DEVIATE FROM A CYCLE.

I've come to the conclusion that either the internet is way more fun at night, or Australians are just way more entertaining than any other nation's people.

I agree with that. When i was younger i used to throw the word around a lot. But i realized that what i felt was more often than not infatuation instead of love. I believe that if you love someone, you should not have to tell them at all, because they should be able to see it in the things you do. On a similar strand, I whole heartedly believe that I was in love before. Not like you guys can truthfully tell me otherwise, but my point is I won't ever call anything love until I feel something like that again, so I doubt I'll be saying "I love you" to too many people I date. I have a high expectation for that feeling haha

I just find it...distasteful to call ourselves the relationship thread when half our advice is to jump ship and move on. Sometimes I have this thing where I'm convinced people can truly set aside their differences and be happy with themselves, within themselves, and in each other. I'm a firm believer that stuff can work out if you try hard enough. But...sometimes there's no reason to try that hard, and those that do find themselves with issues they shouldn't have. Of course if nobody was unstable and dependent to some extent, there'd truly be no problem. I'll still call 'em as I see 'em, but it really doesn't sit well with me telling so many advice seekers that come here that tossing your problems in your relationship to the curb solves the problem.
