I'm still not a fan of the general "break up with your girlfriend" vibe this thread throws off sometimes, but sometimes it's truly warranted.

@Furah If she's really in the "I can't live without you" state, you shouldn't have too hard a time convincing her to snap out of her rut. Even if you literally tell her that it bothers the shit out of you to the point where it turns you off of seeing her, she'll get the hint that you're not happy. And as you should explain to her; relationships really don't work unless both parties are happy.

Oh its another guy she's with, I just found it funny how I apparently scared her off because she thought I was serious about planning a wedding and kids at 16. Still funny though... Wouldn't call her a hypocrite really, girls change alarmingly dramatically between the ages of 15 and 20. I'm terrified of watching my daughter grow up around that age haha. Most girls I hung out with in highschool were all about the puritan smart choice adult life can wait kind of mentality. Most of them drink themselves stupid and are very overly attached to their boyfriends now. That's just how post-teenagerdom goes I guess.

I remember you folks talked me out of chasing a girl with a kid once. No regrets, but I still feel that in some situations it's really not too big a deal as long as you're mature about it. Dating a 16 year old mom still leaves a funny taste in my mouth, but after a certain age as Tim and Muggi have pointed out - most attractive girls will have attempted [intentionally or otherwise] to start a family with someone else. They shouldn't be judged for having a kid until you know the exact circumstance which said single mom is in. I figure once I get myself a salary job I can start chasing moms. Til then, I prefer them dependent-less.

Had 3 way too realistic dreams. One where my ex got married before me [way too likely], One where I wrote all kinds of poetry that sounds like stuff I actually would write, with a hint of ee cummings. And then one where I went to this crazy ass rager and bought a dime off my friend for free cause I paid his cover charge to go to the strip club forever ago. It's really disorienting how real everything felt. Semi-concerned for my grasp of reality right now.

Noxx- Don't go hard-core make out sesh in front of her friends. That should be obvious. Other than that, don't make too many penis jokes, think of a story that makes you sound trustworthy [you're a damn pilot, that shouldn't be hard] and if the terms "ex" or "used to date" or "hooked up with" start coming up a lot, give them your attention for the time being of your story and don't look too couple-y around that person unless you know for sure they're cool with it. Most people who tell more than one story about their ex in one given night usually aren't.
