Yeah I was dungeon master for 5ish months up until a few weeks ago. I thoroughly enjoyed thinking of plots and stories as well as puzzles l, but I was not very good at character creation and I basically pulled the plug on the campaign because it was more stressful for me to come up with ideas every week than it was worth the fun of attempting to play it. But I do enjoy me some fantasizing

I'm gonna breathe some life in this thread and ask what typical (healthy) coping mechanism ya'll use for stressful situations or to soothe anxiety. I know physical exercise is a big one, particularly with some but I'm interested to hear what else you guys do. Work on your car? Build something? Let's hear it.

My girlfriend and I mutually agreed that neither of us are happy with our relationship, so that was a fun conversation and then I went to visit my grandmother with late stage Parkinson's. So basically I'm glad this weekend is over.

That was kind of what I was poorly trying to convey. Owning anything, be it a car or a house or even a small business puts you worlds "ahead" of a HUGE number of people in the US

Noxx's dad owns a bunch of shit, forgive him if he doesn't quite understand the (lower)middle class of the West. Truthfully even buying a used $5000 car without getting a loan is typically uncommon. And buying a car more than $30,000 is either a brand new minivan or a rich single businessman(/woman). There's really no practical reason to spend more than that on a car.

You actually get a better credit score if you don't pay back your bills in full every month because how much they can profit from you is also a factor in your score. The whole thing is balogna. I'm also without a credit score but not only am i the most financially responsible of my friends, I have among the top few savings accounts. Not to brag, but it's honestly likely the highest among my friends (granted most of my friends are careless stoners). I'm convinced credit is a scam. The only things I'll ever need it for is 1) buying a house and 2) paying for my kids college. I'll buy a house using my money and my partners credit so that's taken care of and I'm not paying for my kid's college because it's a waste of effort. My kids gonna learn some good old fashion carpentry or some shit. So tl;dr credit is stupid and is only a thing so banks can profit off of the general populace. /rant
