I love competition and I understand how esports was born, but damn I miss just playing games for fun instead of for rank. Just a few weeks back I asked my girlfriends brother to play some PUBG, but he declined in the interest of maintaining his rank because he only plays with a very select group of ultra competitive guys. I think every game (I guess mostly FPS/MOBA) trying to break into esports level MLG bullshit ruined the game industry. Make games fun again!

I quit because eventually leveling up and collecting money felt more like work than fun. I calculated all sorts of growth rates and found all kinds of effective ways of leveling up, but by then it just wasn't fun anymore. Turns out I really enjoyed the social aspect, and by the time that died out there was nothing left for me

Honestly I'm shocked people still play it at all. I can't imagine someone in 2017 coming home from school/work and logging into the 'scape

...or Pretzel. also, sorry 'bout your cat Veiva. There's loads of little kittens, probably in the 4-9 month range that kind of hang out in my parking lot at work. I wish I had the ability to take them home, but honestly until Winter comes they're doing great for themselves. They get regular food, and there's enough empty housing units around that they have shelter. Hopefully someone more capable takes them in by Winter.

  7. Didn't they merge all the stuff like Forum Games into good ole OT? Either way I have no idea who Lisa Bonet is but her name would make Seth Rogan laugh, so I'll say Seth Rogan. Steven Colbert

  9. I can't tell if she reacted positively to your retort or not. If she did, you have nothing to worry about because you came off smooth, and acting weird now will only hurt any chance you have of keeping yourself in a dating mind frame for her. If she didn't, then continue to drink and socialize until you forget about it...until you're about to fall asleep in about 8 years and it comes rushing back to haunt you for no reason. But hey, that's part of learning, right?

I dislike it when guys decide that because they like dresses that they feel it gives them the right to conclude from that simple action that theyre actually a she or a xhe or zhe. I guess I feel pronouns refer to sex and that gender is a meaningless construct to assume an identity to because it offers no real information. So if your a guy and you like dresses, awesome I support your right to wear that to an interview and not have it factor into whether you get the job or not, but [bleep] you if you think liking a few girly things gives you the right to call yourself a girl. You have to stereotype why people identify as male or female and say because you match a few stereotypical things that you have the same connection to it as they do. You don't. So if that answers your question about why I would feel trans would be more legitimate in calling themselves a girl and about why "I care about a stranger's genitals so much", because I believe sex is the basis for pronouns not gender expression. Again I haven't been elected god emperor yet so my opinions are just that and your more than welcome to find them silly or uninformed. While I disagree with the conclusion you arrived at, I greatly appreciate the fact that your argument is actually based on logic and not social bias. I'll have to get back to you after I read into more modern Title IX, I haven't been keeping up to date with it much outside of the documentary which I believe was called "IX"

There's no rhyme or reason to the imperial measuring system, don't even bother. And stay the hell away from macro beers in America in general. They're all garbage. Craft only. Now as for gender/sex stuff... Why is it so hard to understand that non-binary is something not quite male and not quite female? Is it really that hard to just let people live their lives without defining them using arbitrary tools you've used to define heteronormative people? Painting your nails is traditionally a more "feminine" habit, but plenty of guys get manicures and the like. Why does it have to be associated with "gay" or "trans"? Why cant it just be "they like having nice nails and care about the way they look"? Why do you care about a stranger's genitals so much? With all these "do you want the other organ" questions...who cares! If youre nkt going to be having sex with this person and they seem like a nice person, why can't it just be left at that? Sure the lgbtq+ community gets picked on for being sensitive, but the least you could do is just treat them like people. That's all they really want.

Gender and sex are different. Sex is your biology, gender is your identity. Some people are born as an inbetween sex, not many, but some. I see no problem in accounting for that in a passport. Except the [wagon] reactions of other countries/people that don't like to keep up with modern health science. Edit: I can say "shit" just fine but [wagon] is still in the censor cycle. Hilarious.

Sure is the pot calling the kettle black there. I've never been to Qatar, and all the vets I know that we're stationed there hated it...but I like that they may be considering westernizing. They already have enormous business arangments with the US, so my uneducated opinion is that everyone would long term benefit from a more democratic Qatar.

I live in a fairly above sea level area and we've had a couple floods this week because of the crazy storms. Almost like nature wants us to cut the shit or something

I launched a personal cyber security investigation after I found that an unknown entity had been posing as me by spoofing my phone number. So I got to file a claim with the fcc and found way too much information about the other victim of whatever the spoofer was doing. Long story short I just hope I don't get anymore weird calls from people who think I'm trying to sell them something
