I didn't use a tutorial, I just didsome random things. I have a color version of the other one.

So I have started to make signatures, again. And I'll just post the PSDs if anyone wants them. I use GIMP to make signatures. 1. Although almost everyone here, including the OT'ers have played Runescape, lots of people don't play it at the moment, nor would they know about recent updates. It's OK to have RS-related in a general way, as mrmyk said, but not having the custom rank as a reward from a TET-like-event. I'm sure everyone here has a knoledge of what runescape is, even if they don't play, just by browsing the forum.

You may have noticed I haven't posted much in the gallery. Thats because: Nearly everything I make is horrible, I can't seem to make anything good. I can't think of any good ideas at all, and my shop orders all turn out horrible... I've tried some tutorials, but most cost me PR points on PR, but, the free ones I try; my outcome just suck. I want really to get back into this... Got any tips for me how to get back into signature making? Recommend a render? Challenge me to a battle? But I really need help. If this should be somewhere else. Just tell me.

Wow, haven't seen you in ages... I quite like it Angat, but the text is just... 7/10.

Being blunt here, but you definitely haven't improved, I like your others signatures before. To start with, I'm gonna tell you whats wrong with them; 1st one: Render is very unclear, fractral won't blend with the render. Blurry, and the text is just...horrible. No border. At least the colors are used from the render. 2nd: Bad render to use in my opinion. Seems all you did, was fill the layer with the render then set it to overlay, Render isn't blended. Text is well,... better, but it's unreadable. Border is just messed up. 3rd: Worst of the 3 to be perfectly honest, Render looks skewed.. Theres a big pixelly like going through the bottom right. Flames is very unoriginal, and doesn't fit with that render. Now I'll tell you how to improve them; 1. Use a different render, this one isn't interesting at all. Try making the render the focal? The first place I'd look is the text. The red "x"s are the points of interest in the signature, whereas, the signature hasn't used any. But don't over do the focals, like using great big lens flares where they are. For text, Use a basic, font, they usually work better, 2. Blend the render in, use the eraser tool on a small, soft brush, and try to sort of; softly erase the edges of the render. It somewhat makes the render fit. Instead of fractral brushes, Try something else, like abstract ones. To make a little power from your render. Duplicate it, and take the one below it, and start smudging outward. The render should be one of the bottom layers in the signature. 3. The render is skewed, nothing to do about that. But try brushing instead of using the fire, and in the part of the render thats too long, try to erase those bits, subtlely. To be honest, I would rate them: 4/10. 5/10. 2/10. But remember, you don't get better just from ratings.

You've progressed alot since I last looked. Very good job. Although the problem is you're using too many pitch blacks for darkness, and too much bright white... The assasins creed ones lighting is good though. Kudos to you.
