Tbh you shouldn't bother with trying to get your defence bonusses up... You're 1 def anyway, it doesn't matter ;)

Making mahogany planks is great. Equip a mud staff, buy alot of astrals and mahogany logs, and remember to have some cash left. Astral rune = 154 gp Mahogany logs = 194 gp Money for making = 1050 gp Mahogany plank = 1581 gp (1050 + 154 + 194) = 1398 gp 1581 - 1398 = 183 gp MADE EACH PLANK. And btw, yes I'm quite sure mahogany planks sell. Not instantly, but they do. Edit: Obviously, this is after 90. 80-90 I'd do a mix of alching, metal dragons and MTA.

I don't mind it at all. First of all those defence bonusses outweight the price of reaparing easily, and those prices aren't even high when you use your POH.
