i keep the things i don't use every single time upstairs, like my two studies. and my spare bedroom. just keep your tele rooms, your alter, and your quest hall right near your portal. everything you can walk to.

i believe oak larders are lvl 33. but you can just do other oak stuff until 33, it really won't take that long. Check the main site's construction calc to figure out how many oak planks you need then just craft them all.
-
oak larders for construction. herb farming, ranarr or kwuarm seeds, kwuarm will be faster, but ranarr will have better profits. you could make steel bars or cannonballs if you want a profit with smithing, all i think you will like gold smithing better.

don't forget to do the beacon lighting whenever possible to get the ring and gloves, it could save you time and money.

What do you do? Borrowers who can't wield.
Evilfish1 replied to cakey89's topic in General Discussion
i only lend items when i'm about to leave to go somewhere for a while. And if they can't wield it, all they will see is me log out. If i knew the person (i only talk to rl friends on a reg basis) i would give them money back when they logged in, or tell em when you can wield it, lemme know and i'll lend it to you for free for x amount of hours. if i don't know you, a food and his money are soon to part. -
you can only have 1 type, and once you buy it, it will be yours until you buy another. I would honestly just shell it out and buy the top one, if you die, you don't want to almost make it then watch your stuff disappear.

or is there someone out there nice enough to help me make slayer rings?
-
I would like something medium speed, medium cost to go from lvl 70 to lvl 75 crafting.
-
What a nice old man. yeah for once jagex isn't out to mess us over.
-
what would be a good addition is this: when you are x levels above killing a monster (20 or so) that requires a finisher (such as a rock hammer for gargoyles) if the finisher is in your inventory, it automatically is used. plus a range equivalent of the slayer helm.
-
don't forget that you don't have to wear only those items when you kill the double agent. and then after you do, go back to what you need to wear for the emote, and do it again, then uri will appear.
-
yeah smoking kills was pretty easy, i did them almost back to back, but i was 105 ish combat. contact, that bug at the end is REALLY annoying. i would not suggest you try it before you get to atleast 75 mage and def.

Master Slayer Guide by Axe Man Jack (AOW)
Evilfish1 replied to bigmoneyak's topic in Archive of Wisdom
Not true, you can use crossbows. That aside, I could barely read the guide as all it seemed to be was a huge mass of pictures. While pictures are nice, they do not need to make up 80% of the visible guide. And you might want to tag the title of the thread that it has MASSIVE amounts of pictures for those who have limited data usage. The photos might be small, but that doesn't matter when there are that many. 2 things: you need to understand how old this guide is, some of the stuff, is bound to be outdated. The fact that even though things come and go, 80% of the guide hasn't changed much over the years, and its still the best. and i do agree that there are a lot of pictures, but it is a massive guide its going to have a lot of pictures. I would like to see the monsters in hide tabs, and then arranged alphabetically as a whole list instead of by slayer master then by alphabetical. -
-idk -idk -idk -idk -no black mask and salve doesn't stack -why would you want to use darklight on demons, its like a rune long. o,0 -If i'm remembering correctly, doesn't dragon gloves just give you more exp, not let you hit harder..
-
The most useful: attack (you hit more accurately more often) The one that makes you feel special: strength (big numbers are nice) The easiest to get (imo): defense (every weapon has a defensive style, so you can just constantly work at it.) Although oddly, defense capes are the rarer ones that i see. HP: honestly, just train the other stats (THROUGH SLAYER ) and it will go up in time. Mage is nice, but until you get to the 90's with melee stats, its not really necessary. Range- like magic, just training it when slayer tasks come up that are easier ranged than meleed.

winner, thanks.
-
you can def get all but crafting with the money you have. for sure get crafting to lvl 75 for the slayer ring, then after that, its really just gravy.
-
Its more of a traditional wealth status. Before very few people could afford a chain and legs and a shield. (that was like 40 mil right there, only 3 years ago, imagine even more back when i started.) @ the original poster, bandos is easily the better choice.

Where can i buy like 100 ropes for my bank quickly? i'm sure there is a store somewhere, but idk which it is.

a good substitute for dragon boots when you are at lower levels (at 33 slayer, you don't really NEED all of that stuff because you shouldn't be assigned that many difficult monsters.) is climbing boots. I would suggest using a drag scimitar + rune defender to get your strength up, to 80 then you can leave or keep going if you like. the drag scim is alot cheaper than the whip, and a good cost cutter until you can make some money by farming herbs while you slay to pay for things. But the very first step is going to be to do Smoking Kills. The 111, honestly don't worry about it. Wear dragonhide and pray melee and eat sharks and you won't have a problem with it. But you really will lose out on a lot if you try to do slaying before then. The black mask, i agree, is a must.
-
would the bonuses from the fury make up for the few pray points i lose compared to the stole?
-
i believe its upper 60's.
-
Should i use a Fury or a God Stole with my slayer helm?
-
i play runescape on a mac multi touch pad. so talk about fun. its just something that you get used to.
-
well if you are a ranger, you are definately gonna want to do the quests leading up to getting ava's accumulator. and start working on your slayer so you can use broad bolts.
