  1. Plank make costs 1gp per xp. Zarfot reports rates of 150k xp/h.
  2. If you're keen on teak (which you should be given the price) consider building ranging pedestals in your combat room from level 71 onwards. Eight teak planks per build.
  3. I collected a few SC hammers and decided to give them a try for construction. I made some mahogany tables as flatpacks and soon realised that they were neither losing charge nor boosting my exp. So what am I doing wrong? Or do they not work for construction at all? (although I'm sure I've seen a few threads claiming they do). Maybe its just flatpacks they don't work for? Or do you have to wield the hammer rather than have it sat in your inventory? All help gratefully recieved....
  4. It is a lot faster than PP especially at less than 91 Thieving . And how do you AFK PP anyway?
  5. Its the fastest thieving experience in the game. The aim is to knock out the thugs and pickpocket them twice before they come round. Look up the Mega Thieving Guide on the official forums for a full guide.
  6. You can always trade them back for 70% shards from Bogrog....
  7. It's your lucky day! I've just posted a beginning guide on this subject this morning! In answer to your questions:- 800 tabs per hour is doable with 100% concentration and no bad randoms. The servant do fetch soft clay. Profit and magic xp/h depends on the tab, check my topic for a few examples...
  8. I'll do half the work for you.... Gold charms make Barker Toads (all the way to 99). Green charms make Fruit Bats (as far as 88). Stick those in the Tip.It Planner and then decide if you want to use your crimsons and blues yet! (Kent'd recommend saving them)
  9. Also to help pay for Slayer - do MTK, get sand from Bert, buy pineapples and seaweed from Catherby, buy battlestaves from Varrock each and everyday. Also consider doing a herb round between every 1-2 slayer tasks. A good (inward) cash flow is important, especially if you start using a cannon. Also get some slayer rings for faster travel, and also try and get the Karamja gloves 3 if you're using Duradel/Lapalok.
  10. At 53? Blackjacking bandits in Pollniveach. You can get over 100k exp/h when you get good at it. But you'll be level 65 and on to the Menaphite thugs before you get good at it  I'd recommend reading the Mega Thieving Guide on RSOF.
  11. Welcome to my guide to teletab creation. This guide will show you how you can make a profit while training your magic. It will also show you how to make mid level construction pay for itself! Prerequisites You can create teletabs in anyone's POH (player owned house) - however to maximise efficiency you are going to need your own house as you need to make use of a servant. A construction level of 40 is required to make a study, this will also allow you to construct an oak lectern which you can make Varrock teleports on. As your construction level increases you can make higher levelled lecterns up to the mahogany eagle lectern (Varrock, Falador, Lumbridge, Camelot, Ardougne, Watchtower and House teleports) at 67 Construction. NOTE: using tea and a crystal saw gives you a +5 boost to your Construction level so you can construct the mahogany lectern at 62 Construction. You will also need the appropriate magic level and to have completed any relevant quests to cast the teleport. You will need to hire a servant from the Servant's House in Ardougne. All servants will collect items from the bank for you, the number of items and the speed increasing as their cost and level required increases. I would suggest the butler would be a good choice of servant to use. He will collect twenty items relatively quickly from the bank, and costs 5000 to hire initially, All servants will ask for their initial wage again every eight bank trips. Supplies You will need to buy as much soft clay as teletabs you intend to construct (one soft clay per teletab). You will also need the runes necessary to cast the spells. NOTE: you may use elemental staves instead of the appropriate rune. You will also need a pile of money to pay your servant, and a means of getting to your house initally. Fill the rest of your inventory with soft clay. Technique On arrival at your POH first talk to your servant and ask him to fetch as many soft clay as he carry from your bank. Then move to your study and click on your lectern and then on the type of teletab you intend to make. There will be a short animation and the teletab will appear in your inventory. Repeat. Meanwhile, your servant will arrive with more soft clay. Hopefully, he will be carrying more clay than you have space in your inventory for, so he will follow you until you speak to him again. Make the rest of the soft clay in your inventory into teletabs and then take the rest of the clay. Immediately send him for more soft clay. NOTE: every time the servant gives you the last of the clay he is carrying, send him for another load. As long as he has some clay left to give you he will stand by you. Once he has given you the last of the clay he will wander off if not sent immediately to the bank. Every eight loads your servant will demand more money before he gives you the clay. Pay him immediately. Then click on him again to collect the clay or he will wander off. The bottom line Using this technique I can make 800 teleabs per hour. The butler will ask for money every 160 tabs, so that will cost 25000 gp per hour. The GE market price today of a law rune is 284 gp and of soft clay is 171 gp. (Fire runes 9gp ea, air rune 13gp ea, earth runes 16gp ea) Varrock teleports sell for 778 gp (225k profit per hour, 28k magic exp/h) House teleports for 868 gp (295k profit per hour, 24k magic exp/h) Ardougne teleports for 1015 gp (195k profit per hour, 48.8k magic exp/h) Still to come Pictures! And B2P tablets!
  12. At 65 you fail to knock out thugs quite often which upsets your rhythm . It might be best to do a couple of levels more of bandits to learn the technique.
  13. Its only 17 sharks if you can stay for 45 minutes! I'm aiming for a fifteen to twenty minute stay, so that would only be 160 hp at most. I also need the BoB to haul out all those mithril bars....
  14. Ah OK. Do I then have to use each bit of food on my familiar rather than open the inventory and selecting store all? This seemed to waste quite a lot of time - I'm worried about my dropped food disappearing!
  15. I tried using a Terrorbird today for a practice run at mithril dragons. I tried dropping a load of food at the entrance, teleing out, filling my inventory and then returning to the Ancient Cavern. However, I then couldn't summon my terrorbird at the entrance due to lack of room, and when I headed down the steps I immediately got attacked by a butal green. So where is the best place to drop your food, and summon a BoB in the cavern?
  16. I thought it was automatic for me  Must click faster than I thought!
  17. Use knife with logs. Then use strips with nest. Lights automatically. :
  18. Depends on your technique. If your praying melee and properly antifired then you should be able to stay there till you run out of pots even while they're busy teaming you. Then its just a matter of how fast you can kill them - at your levels it may be a bit slow (I'd always use pure sets against all metals). Still a lot faster assignment than black dragons, even though they do drop a horrible load of junk.
  19. 1M+ ? Slim these days. 1 in 20 at least.
  20. You should get a rarer item from a treasure trail approximately 1 in 5 gos, so you're having an unlucky run. However, the value of a lot of the level 1 TT items are pretty low these days (trimmed chaps anyone?), so like Kent says, it may not be worth it. I read a blog where someone kept their results for over 500 level 1 clues - I'll try and find it.
  21. You can get 40k exp/h making teletabs. Used to make 350k gp but not up to speed on prices...
  22. If you mean the woodlands hunting area, then your options are fairy ring, spirit Kyatt or eagle network. Or walk.
  23. You need to search the bushes undergrowth etc. You will find some tracks. Follow these to the next bush. Search again. Rubbish exp. Hunt crimson swifts for your first few levels instead.
  24. Teaks are great value at the moment. Consider ranging pedestals in the combat room (8 Teaks per build same as oak larders)
  25. Its very worthwhile hunting them with a good clan you can get them all in half an hour or so. Its good fun too!
