  1. No they withdraw 10% of the money deposited up to 75k each day. Doesn't really make any difference... If you want to maximise profit then keeping your approval at 100% is essential. I find I still make a nice profit if I only visit once a fortnight or so (ie let your approval drop as far as 80-85%). However, you obviously need to deposit a decent amount of money at a time this way. It's a free 75k each day even if you don't visit Miscellania or even log on. Its always going to be a good deal. BTB you're best using MTK to make the most money possible, then buying what you need from the GE rather than using the resources directly.
  2. not wanting to state the obvious but you do have the clue in your inventory while you're searching?
  3. I use a Guthan body and a Verac skirt for most of my training. I use Superhuman Strength prayer for training so a little prayer boost is good for me. Obviously use Proselyte if you're praying for protection....
  4. For fun moneymaking I'd try treasure trailing. The money might not be altogether predictable but at least you get a lot of variety. It sounds like you'd have the skill requirements to get around most of the map fairly quickly, and the more you do the faster you get. Just don't get discouraged by a dry streak, you have to do a few to get something good (and you'll get lots of gilded flatpacks for your house...). For more of a long term project I'd try training slayer.... (And MTK - a free 500k every week)
  5. I agree that fury plus slayer mask is much better than salve amulet plus nose peg. You will also need the slayer helmet to take full advantage of slaying creatures in the multicombat environment of the desert slayer dungeon.
  6. Another day of Slayer! (sorry if this is getting boring for you now). Finished Lessers this morning, took a quick break to check out the new hunter update (unimpressed - not giving away my papayas to little furballs). Then Fire Giants this afternoon. Have got a good bag of levels from them, plus my best rune drop yet, a rune kite (promptly high alched, but I enjoyed it while it lasted).
  7. Even at lvl 10 you can make a profit from this. First get two gold charms, two spider carcasses and 14 shards (cost=700, soon to be 350). Make 1 spider pouch and ten scrolls. Summon spider, use special ten times. You will now have at least ten red spider eggs (~300 ea). Profit over 2k. I know this sounds kind of nooby, but this is a level 10 ability! See these low levels from the POV of people new to the game who are level 10 in everything.
  8. Killed enough Jungle spiders for level 16 Summoning yesterday morning. Almost finished the charms so back slayering again to see if I can find some more. Still have last months blue dragon task to finish so have shifted the house back to Yanille and got that done. Dropped a few charms but obviously a bit slow to kill. Next task lesser demons, got about 4 charms from 179. This morning next task Molanisks. No charms but two clue scrolls, wizzy hat (t) and a guthix page. Next task hellhounds. Decided to buy a dragon hally for these. Tried Family Crest Dungeon initially but just too slow a respawn. Shifted to Members Dungeon, much better! These guys dropping charms 75% of the time so if I can get another good task next should be ready to train Summoning up to 24.
  9. Just to report back. Slowest part of spidrs to 16 was killing the spiders. However, I reckon they should provide ~800 red spider eggs which could recoup the costs for the summoner on a budget. Currently on slayer, will do granite crabs when I have enough charms. PS CW>Taverley via balloons seemed pretty rapid.
  10. Got 75 Hunter, trained most of the way to 76. Logged on about 3pm thinking no way they'll release Summoning today its too late... and then it wouldn't load and I started getting excited! Did the quest and got to lvl 8 before I had to go back to work. Annoyingly work has suddenly got quite busy so I'll have less time to train now. Hopefully will use up my freebie charms today (spiders ftw?) and then I'm off to train up Slayer some more and will come back to summoning when I've got some more charms.
  11. I'm about to try spiders from level 10 up. More exp/shard than chickens and a chance to recoup some costs through red spider eggs. I am collecting the carcasses at Hazelmere's peninsula and banking via fairy ring there. I am going to also try duelling rings and balloon to Taverley. Will post time per run. Could someone time Piscatoris obelisk via colony bank or fairy ring times. I'm guessing Lleyta to Undergound Pass obelisk and back by tiny elf crystal will be slow. BTW for you lvl 82 summoners I've calculated Spirit Dagganoth to be the cheapest/ most efficient for power levelling!
  12. Have a quick peek at some of the higher level pouches... There are some that give much better exp/shard than granite crabs.
  13. 74 Hunter, nearly almost all the way to 75 too. Have been hunting the chins, which is fine until lunchtime but after that impossible. So many rude people hunting, will start setting up traps right on top of you. I've been keeping myself entertained by taking their traps when I can, and killing the chins if I get really ticked off...
  14. 70 Magic. Just a 1000 more teletabs to go until 71 and then I can use the ZMI Altar for runecrafting. Will try for 74 Hunter tomorrow early, who knows if we'll have Summoning by the afternoon?
  15. 73 Hunter yesterday, got to 35k away from 74 this morning, but may have to train another skill for the rest of the day as chin spots get a little crowded later.
  16. Just tained 60-70 Agility at Wildy course. Using black d'hide managed to escape revs pretty well. Some will run around wildy course (over obstacles). Some even seem to fall into skeleton pits!
  17. Just trained up to 70 at Wildy course, still failing... I'd guess you can fail into the high 70s...
  18. Making Ardy teletabs 45k exp/h (and 400k profit).
  19. You'll need to talk to King Lathas to open up the Well of Voyage, but by the sounds of that clue you'll need to complete Regicide, as that location is on the overland pass that only opens on Regicide's completion.
  20. Completed Regicide and Roving Elves and started ME1 so I could get the tiny elf crystal. Got 61 Strength from the quest rewards. More importantly now have rapid access to the elflands, so next step is to work on my hunter. Got 72 Hunter at red sallies and 20k away from 73... started to get bored though. Might have to give the red chins another go at some stage. I found a guide which suggested I could get a similar exp rate there. Wonder what Jagex considers high level hunter anyway?
  21. The Wildy course is definitely the way to go to get lvl 70 Agility. I've just finished getting to 70 myself there. The revenants are annoying to start with and I died a couple of times before I got smart to them. I found it best to wear dragonhide and carry a mix of energies and trout so I'd lose no more than ~2k if I died. You need to keep your HP at about half to avoid a sneak attack. At first I'd just run and log, but towards the end of my training I'd carry a dds and kill any lower level revs (best drop 12gp). I did 60-70 in about 12 hours...
  22. 69 Agility achieved yesterday morning, but things then went a little pear-shaped. I couldn't really get into training, and then I couldn't log on at all! Finally managed to get on in the afternoon... Today got to within 3k of 70, and then started The Undergound Pass. Finished that which gave me my level! Then had to wait for the messenger to arrive so I could start Regicide. Finished Waterfall quest (only took ~3 months) and then got a clue scroll on second Guard kill (Zammy page), and messenger arrived half way through treasure trail. So I'm now halfway through Regicide... should finish tomorrow and will try and get Roving Elves done acfter.
  23. lol? is it wildy course easier then getting tix? Once you get used to avoiding the revenants, and with a decent amount of energy pots...
  24. 30k exp away from 70 Agility at the wildy course...
  25. Totally on target. 68 Agility today, and primed for 69 tomorrow. Then if I can get 60k ish more exp will try and get 70 Agility on Underground Pass on Thursday. Have even had time to do 300 Ardy teletabs today (price holding up well), and kill a couple of goblin revenants on wildy course.
