  1. What was the website if you remember? I'll test it on my vm
  2. These are the "essentials" I keep in the bank: -all types of currency (including minigame tokens" -20k of every elemental + dust rune -2k all other runes -20+ all teleportation jewelry -all arrows but addy and rune, broad + grapple bolts -tt items (addy sq, rune hammer etc.) -tools (hammers chisels knives spades etc.) -pouches (t bird, highest combat, highest healer, highest bob) -some of every potion -msbs, rune c bows, rune defs, black d'hide sets, melee barrows set, karils set -tds equipment -common pk gear (rune, mystic, moonclan, etc) Depending on what you do you may want to seriously shorten that list but those items in general are a good idea.
  3. Well I also have a backed up copy of my profile in appdata so I just need to know which file to overwrite.
  4. So basically after this weekend I will have 5-10k spec pots. I already had around 200 before this and never have managed to use a single one. Where can I effectively use them? I don't want to take them to gwd or tds or anything... inventory space is too important there.
  5. Show OFF  Whats wrong with that I browse TIF regularly on BBery
  6. So here's the story. Yesterday my brother was on my computer and managed to delete all my firefox passwords. This was hundreds of little passwords that I was just about to export  I use a program called Recuva which will restore any deleted/modified files for me. I need to know exactly where firefox stores its passwords. (I already know it saves to %appdata% for the entire profile)
  7. That's the same one I found on newegg for $129.99. I have one of those. I just haven't changed the firmware because I don't want to crash it.
  8. Sadly, this means that all pots are going up. Some pots are also the ingredients for extremes, which I plan on making and do not buy right now
  9. How about on newegg? What kind of router there would be good? EDIT: So do you expect this to have cone nat?
  10. Ok, but will buying a new one fix the problem? I don't really care about flashing it.
  11. So basically I have a very old Linksys WRT54g in my house (using it for wired). When I go on gameranger to play Age of Empires 2, I get this message: I have a little picture of a router next to my name, and I can barely play with anyone. At an alternate location I play at, there is a ClarkConnect gateway with a switch instead of just a router. When I play there, I get: However, there is no little router, and I can play with almost anybody. I cannot get my hands on a ClarkConnect (had one before, but its hard drive died and I got an old router) so I need a new router. My question is, do all routers act like mine, or can I play games like that with a new router. Also, I cannot forward ports because my brother also plays with me.
  12. You don't need to do that with Optimus. Basically the laptop comes with the Geforce card and integrated graphics. When the driver detects that the graphics card is necessary, it turns it on and smoothly switches the display. This way, the battery can be saved while not playing games/watching videos.
  13. I seem to have found a good ASUS model: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220746 How would it do? The USB 3.0 looks like it will help in the future, and NVIDIA Optimus should save the battery. The battery life seems to be only 2 hours but I hope ASUS gets around to making a 9-cell battery for it (currently 6-cell). Also, can anyone find the right click on this thing?
  14. Yes I know hp is a good brand. I'd have no problem with those killer envy things (18 hour battery, please?) Except for that stupid hp clickpad. I tried it in a store and it could move the mouse with the click buttons which is ridiculous. That's why I chose one of the older models.
  15. I've had the current desktop for about 10 years now (came with 2000, put XP on it) and its slow as a [bleep]. If "lasting" 5 years means working perfectly smooth then thats fine by me. I want to be able to simply use it.
  16. Basically I'm going to buy a laptop for the next 5+ years and wondering if this is a good idea: http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod1070388&navAction=push The main reason I like it is the large amount of memory and fast processor probably needed in the future, along with the 2 hdds so if one crashes the other still works. However, I am a bit concerned about the battery and the graphics card (only 500mb dedicated). Is this a good idea or not?
  17. Well I haven't played since summer started and I'm going to start again after summer ends. The whole time I've been adding money to mtk and raising percent on Saturdays, and d bones dipped down enough in the middle for me to buy enough for 95 pray :) So basically I noticed that the fish market crashed and wondering whether or not swords + tunas are still a good idea.
  18. Cheaper 99 cooking = ftw Yes, I noticed that cooking sharks is profitable right now.
  19. So i've been gone for a good month or so, and in the meantime, i bought like 30k raw sharks for about 1.4k each, considering jagex is cracking down on macroing. They are now under 1k??? Does anyone know why they are suddenly going down? (I saw the graph; it isn't a crash caused by a merchanting clan) EDIT: Also, what are rock climbing boots and why are they 50k?
  20. Your logic train has derailed. [Facepalm] ok I give up
  21. Wtf is this discussion? I have an Athlon XP ~1.6Ghz and play hd fine.
  22. Is 15" really that big? I've seen a 17.5" laptop that lasted ages w/o recharge. Also the battery is the least of my concerns.

Hes using swiftbrowse theres no way to delete cookies and stuff. (At least on the lastest version of swiftbrowse I used, like the second day swiftkit was out) Try a half decent browser first.
  24. Well I am redoing the computers around my house and I already have a good laptop picked out for myself. I need a laptop for my mom now. All she needs it for is running quick books pro 2005 (and maybe the latest one) and minimal browsing, along with avast free AV. I would like: Integrated or discrete gfx to keep costs down Core 2 duo/i3 see above 320gb hdd long lasting battery (probably the most important) low price She is very computer illiterate, so Big roomy keyboard with numpad and option to turn off touchpad Around 15" screen I will setup the computer for her (set up software/delete crapware) and then she will use it. Also please try to get it at like best buy or something (NOT newegg the cheapest laptop there is wayyyy too high spec/expensive for what I am considering).
  25. ok its user1 not user thanks
