What's The First Stat You'll Train When/If You Get Members?
I prefer Obby to Granite, least with the shield. I first trained.... fletching I think. When I get P2P again, I'll train farming probably, so as to further raise my total levels.

Thanks Jagex, only about a year too late. How easy would it have been to do this ages ago?

Tip.It Times Presents: The Price is Right! Or is it?
I'm going to quote happy gilmore (probably has been done 10 times so far, but: "the price is wrong *****!" I completely agree with the statement that rares go up from more people and others go down from more of them being available. We learn this when we're about 7... Supply and demand, the game and the world are ruled by it. And I think the comparing is a bit tackily done, but I suppose shows some kind of significance to the topic.... Not your best article, but I'm sure there's only so much you can write about Runescape....

Star Trek 11
It's only from the lack of black people on it. Wasn't enough for UPN I guess. Please DON'T say I'm racist because of that, it's just true. Every other programme on UPN was pretty much a black family comedy wasn't it?

Getting Married
So, you saying there should be a marriage in varrock, with the service being either of the 3 gods, then a reception in a player owned house? Sounds... Fun? If you wanna see far out weddings, see the movie "confetti". That might give you some ideas!

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
=D> for the ch00b comment. Sheer brilliance! I know what you mean. I doubt that air travel and stuff make too much difference. I just think that if everybody does something small, and if the begger car companies and stuff produce more fuel efficient cars that will all help. Pompey, I suppose that is what I'm looking for. It's just that the temperature and C02 in the ice cores [bleep]e and fall at the same general time which seems too much of a coincidence for me. It's just that C02 is having an effect on the atmosphere if I remember what I know about global dimming as well as I think. And on that subject, yes geordie, I know what you mean. I'm guessing you're referencing the BBC programme about that? It will require a kind of equilibrium, but as it says in the programme, massive amounts of those gases are contributing to climate change (not global warming! just to avoid any unnecesary comments) so something does need to be done, and it certainyl shouldn't be left alone.

Getting Married
I shoulda posted about mine! Ah well. I dunno, I wouldn't say my wedding to my now wife in february was boring or unoriginal (mostly because we had a fun collision of English vs American wedding traditions!) but you really just have to talk out what you both want. I mean, at the end of the day, it's your day, it can be as simple, or as 'out there' as you want! Hope it goes well!

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Oh, it pains me to think that I don't look at your sources. You're actually more incorrect than I thought. If you actually read my FIRST post in this entire thread, I said I was open minded about it all. If you read most of my posts throughout, I say that I haven't found a correllation between the C02 levels and temperature. So, since we've established that you arent reading my posts, lets just stop this nonsense, agree to disagree and get on with it. To be completely honest, I was actually about to click the teletubby thread on my way of reading the articles you posted. Now look. The thing that I feel is pointless about the graphs that you have posted is that it only spans the past 100 years. Not much happens in 100, or even 1000 years to the earth. So whatever measurements are taken on temperature are irrelevant. I personally don't care that much that people are saying the temperature is going to rise by a few degrees, what I do want to see is if the amount of C02 that humans are putting into the atmosphere is driving it in some way or other. So, can we actually debate this again properly now? Edit: It actually doesn't pain me, it actually makes me laugh to a certain extent.

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Your site doesn't even have any evidence to back it up, it's just incomplete conclusions. (by the way, I can't seem to find the graphs you're talking about on the site, can you link that please? I've looked through arguements and can't find the ones you're talking about) I mean, it bleeding says volcanoes put more C02 in the air than people, maybe it does in 1 day, but all day every day pollution from humans is more than enough as the graph I posted says. I just want you to find your own evidence instead of being fed by the hand. Oh, and Villageidiot, just for the sake of saying so, it's nearly 80 degrees forecasted today in England, pretty hot for april. Just to show a bit of contrast, but I do know about the snow there.

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
I got a few tips for you pompey. 1: Come up with a better insult than 'fool' which I already said to you. 2: READ THE POSTS! 3:REEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAD. Geez, I said in my post that I haven't seen any solid proof that C02 is making the atmosphere hotter, I was just saying that C02 is a dangerous thing to have too much of in the air. I still am researching a possible link but I haven't found an actual connection. What exactly is so inconclusive about ice core samples? Seems to me it's a perfect way to trap kinds of air in the ice. Speaking of which: "Deuterium is a heavy isotope of hydrogen. If a sample of ice has a lot of it, that means the temperature was warmer - and vice versa." Just found that on http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3792209.stm, so maybe there is a correlation between C02 and temperature after all. I'm still researching but that seems promising. So, let me know if you can actually come up with a better hypothesis using actual scientific evidence.

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Pompey for goodness sake. That article you posted doesn't recognise the Ice Core samples with recent data in them. If you would be so kind, please look at the graph from NASA that I posted, I don't care what your site says. In the past 400,000 years, the C02 had not been above 300 parts per million, but now it's nearing 400 ppm in the space of 200 years. I'm still anylising temperature records they got from the ice cores, I'm not fully convinced about the C02-temperature correlation, but if you look at the graph and think there's more C02 by natural means, then you're fooling yourself.

Thats way too advanced for me! I only just passed college math, and I hate chemistry formulas. I'll just nod and agree shall I?

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Alright, now that theres been lots (and lots and lots) of debate about this, I wanna post something I just found on NASA's web site. Legitimate enough for you? http://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/vis/a000000/a003300/a003307/index.html Theres the link This graph shows 3 things: Ice Cores dating to 400,000 years ago, and the relative amount of fluctuations. Don't be stupid enough to look at that and argue "well, it hasnt changed much in the past 2000 years" cause we've had enough pointless comments on here already. Notice the amount of fluctuation, and the number of parts per million. Next, see the generally stabe past 2000 years, probably about as much fluctuation as normal. Then, the industrial revolution starts. Up goes the number of parts per million, and now is at an incredible level, promising to only go up further. Okay. The level of C02 in the atmosphere is jumping at what I would say is an unnatuarl rate, considering nature's changes always seem to be gradual. I think it's obvious that humans are causing such an extreme, and dangerous jump in C02 gases. Whether that has something to do with temperature is an argueable point. I know that in An Inconvinient Truth, he showed a graph of temperature that they said they gathered from ice cores as well. I don't have time to find a scientific page of that at the moment, but I will try to find it. Regardless of anything else, the fact is that humans are having an effect on the environment, and with the amount of C02 in the atmosphere, that can't be good for our health anyway, can it?

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Right, I wanna know what people think about this, at least on this board. I saw an Inconvinient truth last night, and while I knew about most of it, some of it was quite shocking. The fact that theres already been warming and cooling trends for the past 450,000 years, but recently the temperature and co2 levels have soared is quite worrying to me. I watched it with an open mind for both sides of the arguement and I was shocked at everything on there. I've been looking up stuff relating to both sides of the arguement, and I don't really see something actually disputing that claim. Sure the world is on a warming trend, but it's much warmer than any in the past half million years! Anyway, what do you all think about this, if anything?

Tip.It Times Presents: The True Meaning of RuneScape
Yes, ......and no at the same time. I quite like the article, and completely agree with certain points. The most agreeable point being that what you acomplish doesn't end when you finish something. Personally, I'd much rather spend ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã3.20 ($5.00) a month to play Runescape than buy a $40 or $50 (or ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã) game every month when I'll probably beat it within a week or two. I certainly agree with it being a community game, which is probably why lots of longtime players are leaving as the community can be a bit rough as of recent times. However, throughout the bad players, I've found loads of good, nice people, across a wide age spcetrum too! I worried that at 21 I was too old to play it, only to find several people on this very board are also in their 20s, or older! The main point I disagree about is Runescape not being fun. If it wasn't fun, nobody would play it, much less pay to play it. There has to be some sense of enjoyment, otherwise it's not worth it. Maybe even if it's not direct enjoyment, perhaps it's a sense of competition? First one to 99 at hunter when it was brought out was a mad race, as I'm sure it will be again when Jagex releases the new skill. I think people play runescape because you can compete against other players, or, you can work with them. Everybody has different goals, and so when trading is done correctly, it can benefit everybody. Finally, I will say that the fact Runescape is entirely online is a great thing about it. No platform irregularities, not many system requirements, (pretty much none other than java and bradband) and the fact that it's so easy to come back and play it! It's a great game, and has the capacity to be even greater if the right steps are taken. (a very special thank you to whoever has actually read my post!)
