I am stuck on distilling Naptha to complete the quest. I already gone through 3 barrels of tar and about 30 chunks of coal Currently on my way back to get more tar. I've read that part of the guide and tried to follow the directions with no success. Does anyone have some suggestions as to how this process is supposed to work? I'm really stuck. :wall:

This is one of the things that bothers me since I have a habit of reporting bots. :twisted: It would seem to me that in a sense Jagex wants to have it both ways. They want players to report autoers but on the other hand if you accidently report a skiller, you get a black mark? :shock: Doesn't quite fill the bill in my opinion. I do try to make it a point to attempt to get a response from those that appear to be bots before reporting and hope for the best.

LOL I do, I swear! I have Super at all of the allotment patches I use, plus the leprechan carries at least 240 of em at all times for me. What a nice guy :mrgreen: So, I don't think that's it at all, just coincidental bad luck. :-X

Eeesh! Farming 70? Ah well I was already working on that anyway. But did every single herb patch just have to be dead when I came on this am? :x :x I mean really! :wall:

The only difference I have seen is that I might burn 1 less out of an occasional load than usual. For me with a full load of 28 the burn rate is about 4 to 5 each trip. With the gloves it tends to drop by 1 every 2nd or 3rd load.

I have done the favor for the Mage so that part is all smooth and I have me pouches all safe in the bank :mrgreen: Never having done the actual abyss part I was not sure of the relative risk/non-risk to trotting out into the wild. Usually only go when I have a clue scroll. I shall pack my ectophial forthwith! As well as wear the lovely :roll: diamond bracelet to avoid the skull thingy. The Abyss guide states there are a number of ways to the inner core how does this part work? Do I need to take a bunch of stuff to cope with the differing blocks or do I run around looking for a particular one? Don't wish to appear dense but .... I want those quest points! :-k

I am attempting the Devious Minds quest and have been informed that this requires traveling via the Abyss :anxious: I sure could use some advice from some of you experts out there about the best way or ways to accomplish this. Since I am adamantly against pking (just not my thing) and have no wish to be pk'ed, although I understand that I am not supposed to have a choice in the matter, I'd like some tips on how to successfully complete that part of the quest as quickly and efficiently as possible, hopefully without dying. :oops: So, without further........ Lead on ya'll!

Totally, completely and always the dang metal dragons!! IMHO Time consuming, expensive, and useless. I have never, ever, ever gotten a "good" drop from them. I also hated biting the bullet and buying that leaf bladed spear, although I did get a mystic out of it, which I am STILL trying to sell :wall: Since I only get to play for about an hour or so each day (except weekends 8-) ) I am careful which tasks I take.
