She's trying to get with me but I have a girlfriend so no competition here. Seriously, she has a very small social circle because he never took her out, so she has a bunch of dorks from her work way below her league trying to get with her. She wants to party and get loose after being confined at home and babied for 3 years and is giving them as many hints as possible, but only 1 has had the balls to make a move so far. If you really want to get with her then be quick, she might start having feelings for this other guy soon. I'd be doing both of you a favor. I'll fix it.

Just tell her exactly how you feel and what you think. The truth works. If you internally roll your eyes, chide yourself. Make it apparent to her that she's the only lass in your life. Not just apparent. Say it. Sweep her off her feet. Well, even harder than you already are - I trust you. Might go with that. I'll do more of the 'i was thinking about you today' etc. I think telling her about what I posted would make her more insecure and add to the problem. Looks like I just lost a friend of 11 years. The guy who just broke up with his girlfriend. I told him if he wanted to hang then to say so, which he didn't. When I went out with her (I'm friends with her too) he turned into a whiny [bleep] because I dogged him for her apparently. Now he's talking [cabbage] behind my back, and trying to warn her to stay away from me which we both got a good laugh from. She doesn't want anything to do with him and he's still obsessed :/ I hate this high school girl style [bleep]ing. I'd prefer him having the chops to take a swing at me to this. He's also accusing me of trying to get with her, when it's her interested in me and I have a [bleep]ing girlfriend. Even if I were single I would be against the friend's ex thing but the way he is carrying on is making me care less and less about that.

Yes, which is why so many drinks were bought for me for it :thumbup: I wasn't expecting to end up at a club last night, but I thought I'd try anyway. The guy turned me away, then turns to talk to somebody and I slipped through. None of the other bouncers at the door noticed somehow.Then it was simply a game of 'stay away from the bouncers walking around with torches,' which got harder as people started going home.

I'd like to take this moment to brag about getting into a club wearing thongs last night. That's flip flops for you kangarooless souls.

Is insecurity in relationships a massive turnoff for anyone else here? My girlfriend is worried because I slept around before I was with her and is worried I will cheat on her. I have no idea how to convince her I won't other than hoping for trust with time. Hanging with previous partners doesn't help which is understandable, but I can't exactly drop my social life for her. Am I a bad person for internally rolling my eyes when she starts a conversation with 'I'm worried" I mean I want her to talk to me about anything and I'm glad she does, but I can't control my feelings and level of attraction.

Oh, could have sworn it was. Anyway, I think she's an idiot for kissing another guy yet wanting for you to be her boyfriend. It could be that it means she feels the relationship isn't serious and she wants it to be, and she thinks that giving it a label will make it so. It could be that she's worried she will lose you for doing what she did and is trying to rope you in. It could be a lot of things, but being exclusive with someone like that, in a relationship like that is a bad idea. What it says to me is that she sees what you have as something casual and so should you.

She was upset about her grandfather, and you went off at her on a related subject. It's not your fault because you didn't know, but it is because you did it anyway. Just apologize.

I can't bear them either. boom It almost feels weird now... I can't even remember the last weekend I had. I think it was last year. Only working 5 days a week, and then not having to go to work smelling like beer and sex on the weekend is going to be awesome :thumbup: Holy [cabbage]. Sleep ins.

Letting her lead the relationship like this is probably part of the reason why she's not that into you. You following her when she wasn't talking to you, whether you stay together being up to her even though she is treating you badly etc.

Really? I liked the book and it still makes me laugh but thought the movie really sucked and didn't find it funny.

Combined with would make me want to end it. She doesn't seem that into you at all. Considering your age my best bet is that she's not into you, but she's confused because she likes the novelty of having a boyfriend. In any case I think staying with her is a bad idea that will get you hurt.

I AM ALSO GOING TO SEE HARRY POTTER TONIGHT The book is always better because it allows you to paint your own picture, which is always going to be different to somebody else's (like the director's) picture.

The book was obviously embellished but pretty funny and entertaining. His second book isn't anywhere near as good, I only laughed like twice in the whole thing. The movie isn't worth watching if you haven't seen it yet.
