I just started an awesome new job. Overpaid, underworked, rostered days off every fortnight, 10 minute drive to work, best training in the southern hemisphere and future employers know it, everything paid for and I can request equipment, tools, car expenses etc, and I can get paid to do further study/licences of my choice often if they aren't even relevant to the job. Had a 2 day induction and was congratulated about 10 times by different people because it's so damn competitive. fixed, and no.
  2. I agree with it depending on personality. Personally I just tell the girl about other girls I hook up with so she knows early on that she isn't the one and she can always stop seeing me if she wants something more.

I scored 6 months in a house close to brisbane, 15 minutes walk to the uq gym and 8 minutes drive to my new job for $130 e: that's the entire 6 months for $130
  5. Save your money I don't know what I'm doing yet, but I'm definitely not getting her chocolates. I'd rather go someplace different than get her a cliche overpriced gift. ?
  6. I found a perfect spot to take a girl. It's an isolated shady area overlooking the ocean with a great breeze that is almost impossible to find unless you know where it is, with a big, flat and surprisingly comfortable rock just begging for 2 people to have a picnic. It's isolated enough for other stuff too. I could just sit there and watch the ocean for ages. Shame nobody here lives up this way to take advantage of it.

I don't [bleep]ing believe it. Today tonight has a [bleep]ing countdown for the cyclone. Keeping it classy as usual, australian current affair programs. My aunt is up there :|
  8. Yeah, don't do this. If you must, be careful with it. Self deprecation jokes can work against you in the same way that sex role play jokes can work for you. The funny self deprecating dancing monkey is entertaining and girls will hang around him, but they won't be attracted to him.
  9. It's just a personal thing. I like loafers, and they are a classic. If you don't, then don't wear that kind. Vans has a boat shoe that I would wear that I doubt others here would. I was starting to wonder what happened to boyzloveme, but why isn't this troll banned when 'hello friend' was? No matching ips?
  10. That's a shame. I wanted to be able to wear them with jeans, which ruled out black for me, and I wanted something more interesting than brown. White shoes are fine as long as you don't have an orange tan and gelled hair. As for those jeans, I threw 1 pair out that I ripped while jumping a fence drunk and gave the other to my brother (he doesn't have a job or style and picks from my hand me downs or kmart) who doesn't know where they are as they are too big for him. They were just dc prefaded jeans, very light blue with no crease marks and lasted a long time before starting to fade. In any case raw denim is a trend and if designer jeans do last so much longer I couldn't justify spending that much unless it was timeless.
  11. Everything steals ideas from everything in fashion. Finding a 'negative' theme of part of an outfit is like shooting fish in a barrel, and it doesn't mean anything.
  12. I don't know where they are since they haven't fit for a while and aren't in my wardrobe., I'll have a look later.
  13. I had 2 pairs of prefaded jeans from around 8 years that you couldn't tell from that (unless you looked at them closely) up to probably the 4-5 year mark. I'd still wear 1 of them out if it fit me. By then my style changed. At least in australia, not many people dress like that, and very few people do outside of clubs. Even in clubs it's usually just blue jeans and a boring button up - half the time with white sneakers. It's magnitudes harder to go clothes shopping here, especially for guys.
  14. I just got an outfit, partially because it looks awesome and was good value, and partially to prove a point. I went to the beach yesterday, stopped in at pacific fair and got all this from tarocash. The pictures don't do it justice, but it gives an idea. Black and white striped shirt (creases are built in) $100 down to $20 Grey slacks $50 White belt $50 down to $15 Shoes $160 down to $100 I already owned the charcoal grey jeans. A whole outfit that works both casually and clubbing for under $200, which was my point. Unless you have an infinite source of money, I think you're better off doing something like that instead of buying $200 jeans which looks not that much better than and will last just as long as $50 jeans.
  15. The answer to that is a risk you have to take. Some will, some won't. But sometimes you gotta dig through a lot of dirt and muck to find your diamond in the rough. Which brings us back to knowing attraction, so you actually can dig through the dirt and muck.
  16. Or artemis fowl. My little bro wears square toed black oxfords and he looks awkward. I think very few teenagers could pull it off, and I have yet to actually see one outside of a formal occasion doing that.

When me and my girlfriend had sex in my car it was the other way around with me worrying about being caught. We nearly did. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure the guy knew because he drove his car near ours, started walking towards us and then left. Wait.. It was at like midnight, was he trying to steal my car? Someone posted an oil filter story on another forum that made me laugh. [hide=]I had 1 filter, it still makes me ANGRY today thinking about it. I had a 180sx back in 2003-ish, the first time I went to change the oil, I decided the filter needed doing, I was the first Aus owner, and the filter and everything was all in japanese. I got the oil, I got the filter, I also got a tonne of degreaser to clean everything up and make the engine bay shine. drained the oil, no problem. went to get the filter off, no go by hand, got a filter wrech, and broke the band. I then got the compressing type socket-driven filter removal tools (the harder/tighter the socket goes, the tighter the removal tool grips), this tore into the botton of the filter. At this stage, oil pissing everywhere, me swearing and getting furious! I decided it was time, I grabbed a big fat flat-headed screwdrvier, and drove it through the middle of the filter, out the other side, and started twisting. The bastard starting sliding the filter open like a can-opener. I removed the driver, came around about 30 degrees, and punched it through the filter again, and started turning again. After 10 minutes, I came out from under the car screaming yelling, swearing and covered in oil. I had half the filter (the bottom half), but the top half was still stuck into the block and I was pissed!!! I went in, polished off ¼ of a bourbon, still swearing and ranting. I ended up using pliers and hammer to bend the rest of the filter out, and a million drill holes around the base of the filter to weaken the base, with the flat-head screw driver to bust the base off. Once that was off, I got the hacksaw blade out and cut the thread-collar to loosen it enough, and then I used multi-grips to remove it. I swore that the next car to have a filter similar would be doused and burnt on the spot![/hide]
  18. Big ol' watch face actually works wonders for that. I would think it would do the opposite  Can I join the smoker in avatar club with george thorogood? Ok really I just did that as an excuse to watch the film clip to i drink alone again.
  19. :( grass is always greener, my life isn't perfect just because I'm having sex. Yeah I initially thought sex but then realized he was 14. Just flirt and meet new people, and pick a new hobby that will occupy your mind enough to get her out of your head. Boxing or bjj would be perfect. Or something different like taking a fire twirling class.
  20. I get that with my watch
  21. marc ecko icy cold pro. The bigger one is the same model but newer, I think they changed the name to silver iced or something.
  22. Bleh. I found my old watch that I thought was stolen at a party when I had a shower, and now I have 2 almost identical watches. So..... Who is in the market for a watch? Wow my old 3mp camera phone takes better picture than my new 8.1mp smart phone.

Today I changed an oil filter that was put on so tight it [bleep]ing broke an oil filter wrench.
  24. Oh. Then I suggest casual sex, or just flirting with more girls in general.
  25. Why on earth would you want to do that? I guess sex could do it, but that's a really bad idea.
