  1. We both know that's not the main reason for it. Girls still shave their legs before they go out. Not directly because they want sex, but looking attractive is a big reason for it. Have a flip through a womens magazine, or even talking to a girl long enough for them to bring it up makes it evident It's why they feel better in skinny jeans than sweatpants in public.
  2. Nobody is saying he should, because there are so many things he can try instead. Be honest though. You've never worn high heels, or had long hair that is a pain to take care of? Or done something you didn't particularly like because it made you feel good in the long run? Would it have made you feel the same way if guys didn't like those things? I bet you don't enjoy shaving your legs, or saying no to that extra piece of cake. If it doesn't apply to you then I'm sure you realize most women do. We're hardwired to reproduce. It's not such a big deal if we sacrifice a little here and there to achieve that. I guess what I'm saying is that it's not quite as black and white as your post suggests. It was a joke btw, which is why your reply confused me.
  3. I wouldn't see that as a sign of success, to be honest. Sleeping around is rather a sign of bad relationships solely based on hormones. Or perhaps I was just out to have fun and didn't want to jump into a relationship with the first girl who was attracted to me ;) Now that I've found someone I wanted to be with, it has gone quite well. We're suggesting that he pick up hobbies, keep busy and improve himself until he is happy. Is that such a bad thing, whatever the motivation that drives him?
  4. I don't think the Goldman Sachs thing was a mistake, nor the dot com bust, or any other financial fiascos. Just a few greedy people who want more and a government who either can't or won't regulate them. Spectators know exactly what they're doing and don't care. Look at oil.
  5. I'm surprised the board members of Goldman Sachs isn't on anyone's list.
  6. Go back to piano then. Just play a girl the intro to bat out of hell then unzip your fly and crack a beer.

What about the uncertainty principal? I don't know enough about it to be certain, but I was under the impression that it's a law and not human limitation.

You're saying things changing state because something acts on them is predeterminism? Calling "if I do x, something may or may not happen" a 'law' doesn't really contradict what he said anyway.

I had a quick check online and it only seems to be 60 hours of flight time, and it costing 8-12k including lessons. Maybe the rules have changed since.

I was thinking about getting my bike license too, but I'm a bit concerned about becoming a spot on the road. People are so [bleep]ing stupid when driving and motorbikes are invisible to too many people. My mate died when someone ran a red light, which doesn't help.

Exactly. Physics on a quantum level works by probabilities, if it worked the same as newtons laws there would be chaos because anything could happen. It is not predetermined, but it is the reason why you probably won't be an astronaut porn star when you grow up.

Today I decided to get my private plane pilots license next year when I can afford it. I've always wanted to fly, and it would make a hell of a date.
  13. Just remember that she has feelings for you, which means it's likely to turn into a mess if you have sex with her and still don't want to be with her later on.
  14. Realistically, that would never happen to me. But if, hypothetically, she felt the same way about me then I might think differently, but even then I don't know how long it could last or if we would really be right for each other. It's just too hard to know. So "love sucks because I don't have it"? Cmon... I had casual flings for 5 years before I found a keeper, and it may not even work out with her. Stop focusing on relationships (avoiding them is still focusing on them) and have fun.
  15. Hypothetically, if she was crazy about you too, how would you feel about relationships then?
  16. If you're gaining strength but want size raise the reps a tad but keep it below 12.
  17. Yeah, the bad thing about being 6'4" is it makes me look leaner. That, and everyone goes straight for my legs in mma. I care about my weight, I'm overweight by bmi but it's mostly muscle. (abs partially showing) Until I got more serious in the gym and started eating 3000 clean calories a day I had big legs from my sprinting days and skinny ass arms, shoulders and chest.

I did shave my legs in high school when I did athletics and my skins gave me a rash, but armpits?
  19. You are confusing sex partners with meaningful relationships, personality with intelligence, and assume all guys are weak-minded. This. If a lot of guys said they wouldn't be aroused if dan's situation happened, they'd be lying. But many guys wouldn't even begin to consider a relationship or even respect a woman who did that. Meh, I don't buy it. Especially for the reason quoted.
  20. Don't forget the fully sick tribal tattoo and the commodore. Edit: Oh somebody deleted it :/
  21. I have never bought the "personality is important" thing from guys. If a complete moronic [bleep] took her clothes off in front of you, you wouldn't hesitate for a second. I have seen plenty of blokes who stay for years with hot girls that seem to be wastes of life. It only takes a few months of sex (often not even that) for most young people to start falling in love whether they like it or not. It comes with the gender. After even getting to know who I first thought were the most secure and strongest girls I had met who seemed confident and had it all together, under it all is a lot of insecurity and low self esteem.
  22. Maybe doing bjj has given me a different mindset when it comes to this sort of thing, but I'd go for a finger rather than just wailing on the guy. It doesn't attract attention and he can't fight back, and when it's a surprise he can't defend from it. Mind you I haven't done it, or even started a fight since I was like 14. Even on the gold coast on a Friday night I seem to get left alone.

I haven't been this sick in a long time. I was up all night praying for a quick death.. I just had an easy exam and now a harder one later on dc machines.
  24. Sounds like you gave her some kind of emotional blue balls, or maybe it is the 'some girls are dumb' thing. She sounds like a bit of a drama queen. Make a physical move asap but make sure it's a confident looking one. My girlfriend keeps getting groped.. I'd love to break some fingers but it's always when I'm not there. Keep doing it you seedy [bleep]s, but at the end of the day you go home alone.

Today I found out that the words "if 2 cars have a head on at 50kmph each, the force on each is the same as if 1 were stationary." causes a [cabbage] storm in a house full of student engineers.
