Well I'll be honest and say I don't like any of the current western MMOs on the market so I can't really help you there. You could try WoW like everyone else, and it's probably the most sensible recommendation, but yeah. The only good western MMOs I know are pretty old now and probably not worth playing anymore. If you'd settle with an eastern game you could try Aion when it comes to the US September. It's an excellent game with a focus on PvPvE and is the most polished MMO to come stateside in years. Of course that's if you could get over it's eastern style ("Anime crap" if you want to say that) even though you can make some very western looking characters, not to mention the actual gameplay is very westernized. As far as single player RPG's again I can't think of too many good, recent, ones for the PC. I guess you could play Mass Effect like someone suggested. Baulders Gate I and II are both excelent games, as well as the older Bioware and Black Isle games. I guess if you wanted a hack and slash game you could probably pick up Titan Quest and it's expansion over steam for cheap, it's a solid action RPG (think: diablo) that me and ultima are having a lot of fun with lanning (over hamachi because we're dirty pirates).

Not to mention if you're paying $50 for 1GB of RAM you're [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed.

Some people figure that if you're playing on a PvP server that you'd want to PvP. I know, I know, it's a crazy ideal.

Ok yeah, no show has gripped me so much before. I finished Ep17 of monster and have no intent on stopping tonight yet.

Jesus, Monster is amazing so far. I'm only 7 episodes in (out of 74) and wow. It's just so powerful, it's hard to explain.

Are you looking for just RPG's that are online or are you more in favor of looking for an MMO (probably with a subscription). Also you realize Hellgate:London is only single player now right, and that their studio went down months and months ago -- so there is no online play in it.

*shrug* Hardcore raiding sucks.

There wasn't much to really get with Ren and Stimpy. It was needless violence, and a lot of it. You really have to love the old nicktoons. Honestly though if they tried putting it on the air today it'd get booted off before it had a second episode. I'm not sure how you can find it disgusting. I mean you must not watch much western animation if you think IZ is disgusting :P.

Riku you can tell people all they want but the best way to understand is to experience first hand. According to what you're saying, however, just because you might take drivers ed when you're 16 should mean that raising the legal age to 18 wouldn't be a problem. Because, I mean, if you're getting all this experience driving from drivers ed it shouldn't matter right? People need to experience things first hand. Trust me, a lot of people think that since they are smart or strong that they can be fine with alcohol, and they don't fully understand what it does. The only way to experience that is to witness it first hand. To be truthful D.A.R.E is probably one of the worst programs ever, efectivly resorting to scare tactics and half hearted "truths". The problem is is that if a child finds out D.A.R.E has lied (or stretched the truth) on some things then they will have thought that they've stretched the truth about alcohol as well. I think if parents allowed their teenage child to get drunk with them, once, would show them just how strong alcohol can be. Once they learn to know their limits I think that would help out a lot. And sure, it isn't foolproof because there are too many factors in this. People get arrested for drink driving when they're at any age really, and you can't stop that. However you can try and spread awareness instead of trying to cover it up or just say "don't do it". D.A.R.E and other programs don't talk about safety as much as they talk about abstinence of any drugs and/or alcohol.

I just don't see why the driving age should be bumped up to 18. Most accidents that are caused by teenagers are because of inexperience so bumping up the age will only make 18 year olds as inexperienced as 16 year olds. Wouldn't you agree though that accidents through alcohol are because of inexperience as well though? You can hardly think that someone would willingly drink so much to give themselves alcohol poisoning and/or drive a car while drunk if they actually knew they could kill themselves.

I tried Songbird this morning - it runs great, but for some reason I don't want a replacement for my 2 most used apps on my mac :P Well I've been using Winamp but I can't stand it's UI. No kidding sith. And hawkxs if you have any way for us to get out of trillions of debt in 6 months please do tell. It's not like we had no debt and obama came around and then BAM HEY GUYS I SPENT 3 TRILLION.

I'd rather the drinking age lower even if it's just so parents could (legally) teach their children at a younger age about alcohol. If you look at other countries outside of the U.S with lower drinking ages they almost always also have a lower rate of death pertaining to alcohol, and I think it's because they learned from a young age on how dangerous it can be if not used correctly. Making alcohol an almost taboo subject at younger ages only aims to hurt. It's the same thing as talking about abstinence instead of condoms. Sure, in the long run it would be better for them not to drink/have sex at a young age, but that's not going to happen -- so it's better for them to be prepared.

I don't really care anymore.

I always saw them as extra goals to increase the longevity of a game. Seems to take the point out of it if you just cheat for them.
