I haven't played runescape in close to 3 years, idiot. so thats why you spend all your time in the video game forums But still you dont get a choice if its a horrible choice i didnt say wow or eq2 were horribel but you say rs is horrible then why did you play it? I think I can form a fairly decent opinion from playing all of them. I played runescape because I was something like 13 or 14 when I first played it. I didn't know better and couldn't get anything better. Also the game was tollerable in RSC. The game, in its current state, is a joke of an MMORPG. ps: I'm fairly sure you have not played EQII or WoW, thats why you have no position to be able to say they are horrible or not. pss: I can't say a game is horrible but you can say the Xbox 360 is garbage eh? :wink:

HD increases the QUALITY of the picture, not the graphics :roll: and graphics quality depends on the developer of a game Please refrain from talking in the future. Running in HD is the same thing as if I were to go on my PC and play a game in 1600x1200 resolution instead of 680x480. It does increase the "graphics" so to speak of the game as it increses the visual quality. Games built for non-HD look horrible on large TV's because their "graphics" wern't good enough. Games that are made for HD look fine on normal TV's but amazing on large, HD, tv's. The reason why is that they are not put to their full potential on a normal TV.

Thats what you do in any MMO mate. well last time i checked in runescape you could fish,cook,buil houses,cut trees,make fire and a load of other stuff in other words runescape And there are also tradeskills in WoW, EQ II and I belive LoTRO. Runescape is a horrible choice.

I think I played it for a .... day? Was kind of a fun little break for the few hours I played but I can't see playing it for more than a week. (Just like an free korean MMO)

I leveled mutilate 60-70 and never looked back. Like I said earlier in this thread this is your soloing: Cheapshot > Mutilate > wait for 70 energy > Kidney shot > Mutilate > Mutilate > Eviscerate/Envenom That can kill just about any mob my level. I would go Mutilate/sub (41/0/20) until you hit 70 just because you don't get the good stuff for mut/combat until 70. Wow, a 70 druid messing up there? Me and the guys I run with don't even take stuff like shadow lab serriously lol. We'll pull like 8 mobs at a time and stuff (Tank is an amazing prot paladin) :P

Right now WoW or EQ2 are really the only two "main" contenders I see. LoTRO is an option if you want something new. Personally I would be leaning towards WoW. I've played Everquest II for a good 4-5 months probably on a PvP server (nagrand). Had a 43 mage among other classes. However after playing WoW a bit I tried out a free reactivation trial on my account for EQ II, couldn't get into it again as much. Now granted both are very much the same and I'd choose which world sounds better. WoW is certainly more solo friendly than everquest II is although I think it is entirely possible to solo to 70 in EQII. Biggest problem? EQII's population sucks right now. Thats the main thing that held me back.

Yeah I had to manually update my stuff. It wouldn't have been a big deal but stupid me downloaded a new mod trying something different and (even though I backed up the old one) I didn't back up the old UI scale. That was a pain. #-o

People who I know that smoke are kind enough to put it out if someone asks them to. Obnoxious smokers get on my nerve (those who won't put it out or move away if you ask them) but they're rare.
