The official World of Warcraft thread.
Yeah the grind got to me as well. 52 spellhowler on retail but most of my time spent playing the game was on Private servers, so I have much more experience from them. Funny enough rogues also get 'dash' except it is sprint. 70%+ movement speed for 15 seconds on a 5 minute cooldown. (use it and can't use again for 5 mins). It is useful for catching up to someone thats kiting you at times. Also the rogue stealth is actual stealth. When we're in it players can not see us unless they are a good deal higher level than us or we are close to them or if they have certain buffs (racials, ect.)

Rogues are actually a great deal like the TH/AW/PW's in lineage II. Many of our damaging attacks are from behind and we can get a lot of control over a fight with stuns. If you want to as well you can simply run around with 2 swords and beat the crap out of stuff. :) Btw I'm an ex-Lineage II player myself. I personally played spell howler for most of my time inside the game. 8-) oh and to answer your question yes, we're strong in PvP. theres a strong rock > paper > scissors system in play but players who play well can overcome it at times. Our bane are plate wearers (warriors/paladins/druids in bear form). :)

The official World of Warcraft thread.
First off, PvP server mate. if you're in the U.S join burning blade. I'm usually willing to help out with my rogue to any TIFers there. Race/class just choose what sounds fun to you. Really any class is viable in the game, even shaman have a viable spec and place in the game. (resto + support buffs / dps in raids) As far as raiding goes you don't raid until you're 70 and have a guild running them. You can raid old world instances (lvl 60) but they're a waste of time other than just checking 'em out. PvP you can enjoy at any level really as there are level brackets for battlegrounds. 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, ect up to a 60-69 bracket and an all 70's bracket. To get to 70 in term of hours I think it took my rogue 9-10 days of playing to hit 70. That means 216-240 hours of game time to hit the max level if you know what you're doing. A new player might end up taking 15 days worth to get to 70 and it also depends on your class and even PvP or PvE server. (I probably could have hit 70 in 7 days if I didn't pvp so much). Getting into raids takes more time, I have 20 days-ish on my rogue right now of playtime and I'm just geared up to go to the first raid at 70.

Last Chaos - A Completely FREE MMORPG
Without even going to the homepage -- yes. Its just like every. Single. Other Korean free MMO out there. Honestly if you've played one you've played them all. Game has a really poor community / horrible lag. Don't bother.

The official World of Warcraft thread.
you need epic (or at least the training) if you want a flyin though.. thats the only reason i got my 100% mount. I don't understand that.. I got my epic land mount as soon as I could.. and got Kurenai rep right up so I could buy a Talbuk too. When I said epic mount I should have said epic flying mount I have my epic land mount and my normal flying mount too.

Got my newbie warrior up to 19 yesterday and got wrapped up in the arena. I'm 30/0/31 on my rogue atm, going to have to respec for kara today however. Glad I don't really care about having an epic mount eh?

Suspended from school...again
That's pretty stupid starting a "fake fight" in the middle of school. Ok, scratch that, really stupid. As far as the topic is asking I haven't been suspended ever so I really can't share anything.

Why do you post here?(OT)
^ that. Honestly its just kind of hard to leave once you've established yourself. Sure I could go to a "larger" forums or a more lax forums but I don't feel like trying to establish my self with a group of friends there again.

Laptop specs question. UPDATE: Desktop possibility
UPDATE: Now I'm not sure how this is going to fly with my dad but the basic idea is I'm going to build the best I can get for maybe like $650-700. I'm opting for a normal desktop but with one of the smaller modifyed cases. The must haves on the list are a Direct X10 capable card and an Intel Duo 2 core processor. Aside from that I would love 2gb of ram. Now the obvious kicker is I can use some pieces of my PC. I'll need a new motherboard/processor/video card and depending on the case a power supply (how are 8600GTs on power?). I have a gig of ram already so I can buy another gig of compatable ram to compliment it up to 2gb. The sound card I can bring over from my PC, I can bring over my accesories and my monitor. I want to get a new hard drive (nothing special, like 200gb 7200 is fine) and obviously I'll need a nice small case that will be easy enough to travel with. (really just once a year or so around christmas and stuff. The bigest thing Is i'm working on making it so I can live with it for at least a couple of years before an upgrade. I was able to build a very viable machine for around $840 with about 10 mins of looking at newegg and I can easily chop off 100-150 of that price probably. So I'm looking for some tips. Obviously I want to build my own PC.

What good things have happened to you recently?
Don't we all :P. There's a chance I may be able to build a full new pc instead of getting a laptop. I'm really excited and hope i can.

What good things have happened to you recently?
Hmm... i'm going to raid kara tomorrow in WoW? Honestly nothing out the ordinary has happened recently. I've been really lucky to have a great first job. $9 an hour, 40 hours a week in an office job that also gives me time to catch up (read: troll) varrious forums and sites during the day. I'm happy ;p.

So, how hard is university?

Laptop specs question. UPDATE: Desktop possibility
The big thing really is to be able to game decently on it. I'm not looking to be able to future proof and play games with all high 3 years from now but I want to probably be able to run whats going to be thrown at me a few years from now. As far as mobility the biggest thing is just so that when I come home for Christmas I don't have to lug a huge tower with me. Also the 8 series? Are these going to be laptops running with the 8600, ect. Nvidia cards or is there some kind of specs you can post? I'm not sure I have a few months, really i'm leaving near the middle of august so I need it before then. (and probably earlier so I can get a good discount from my work). edit: I'm reading up on them right now. Wish I knew a general idea on how much it'd cost for one when they're out.
