  1. Who is your favorite person to discuss things with? Probably assassain, warrior, trapical. Bunch of people really. Who do you think would label themselves as your enemy, or beter yet, who do you strongly dislike on this board? Laginivator, Deloriogod, Carlin. I can name a lot more but no point in letting this take up a paragraph. :) If you could sit down with one person, and have a deep, philisophical conversation with them, who would it be? Warrior or Bubsa. They both seem to share a same outlook on life as I do. :P If TIF was "real-life", who would you consider to be your group of friends? A lot of people really, almost too many to feasibly count. I think I would get along with a lot of the WoW newbies that hang around that thread (rocketman, biox, ect.) and a lot of regular OT members who've been here a while. Sir_alex as well. Do you miss seeing anyone around? Hmm... mostly just the bit of interesting characters we've had in the past. Woman (I think that was her name) was an.. 'interesting' character until she was banned. I kind of liked seeing issy's little feminist rants spark up too. If one person on this board were to become famous for doing something awesome for the world, or for maybe becoming a world leader, who do you think it would be? I could see Trapical doing some big stuff in his field.
  2. Actually you're post was one of my "rude thing that agrivate me".
  3. hey... where'd my post go? :( Can I put down "deleting posts" for my list? That an ignorance.
  4. I thought that was a chick at first. My eyes are blue >_>
  5. I'm always a bit suicidal at times like that so.. .yeah. I tried ganking a priest who had 4 other allys around here yesterday on my shaman I had geared up. As a resto shaman. #-o

How in depth can it get? You want to have fun. Games are fun. Therefore, playing a game = fun.

Why can't it? And either way sometimes when I'm playing a game, mostly an MMORPG there may be a couple boring-ish parts in it. However I strive through them because the reward in the end is much worth it. Honestly though why can't someone just play "for fun"?

I don't play runescape. I play games because, not only is it a large hobby of mine but I am going to school to get a degree in digital art which I hope to use in the game industry. I'm on the net because not only do I work in an office right now (so I can be on it the entire time while working) but I have dual monitors at home so I can have it open on one while gaming on the other.
  9. Yeah, Gankthorn Vale has always been bad. Last time I leveled a character there, I only spent "off hours" questing in STV, then did Desolace during "prime hours" so I'd spent more time getting exp and less time plotting my revenge... Heh, it's a unique place but it gets OLD really fast. Considering I'm alliance, I don't think Desolace would be much better. STV is like the place where people realize they "can" actually gank so they go crazy! My strategy is leave them alone because if I kill them they will bring help and that is sooo annoying. If they attack me and I have a chance (I wont fight against a ???. It takes some satisfaction out of killing if your opponent doesn't fight back, eh) I will attack back. Alliance have it easy in STV because of the way population imbalances are on most servers. Most servers alliance outnumbers horde. I always killed anyone I could in STV regardless of the possibility of them bringing someone. If I see you, you're red and you aren't ?? to me -- you're dead. STV is always my favorite zone.
  10. So I just did my first kara run today with the guild. Kind of funny, he made it so that we thought we were doing AQ 20 (some of us didn't like it) and sprung kara on us. :P Guess it kind of showed who was loyal to the guild. Anyways we downed the first boss and got moroes down to about half hp. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28506 Got those. :)
  11. Serriously dude? Thats where I live! :D Ha awesome 8-). I'll be in Alexandria and DC for about a week during my trip, the rest of the time i'll be in Charlotte, NYC, and some hick Virginia town my mom grew up in :P. cool :P . I'd lol if I saw you somewhere and didn't know it.
  12. Those bands are a fine example of what the genre should not be. Bands are all really poor. Either way I'm more into metal however I enjoy classic rock as well.
  13. Serriously dude? Thats where I live! :D
  14. Working, go to college at the end of august. going over to see family soon for a week.
  15. Damn thats old O_O.
  16. :-s what... the?
  17. I think that we are a bit aways from truly realistic AI. With the way current programing works there always has to be something that triggers another action. If an enemy in a game see's you running at him he might hide behind cover. Likewise if you're hiding he might try and sneak on out, ect. Its all based off of a series of if's and the actual AI doesn't really "think".

I don't think I can really name anyone that I hate.
  19. So, where is this mystical land where you can get a house for free and can find food easily every day? Oh and of course a place where you can have fun every day too at! Because, you know, if you lived on an island or something every waking moment would be pure fun!
  20. What has intrigued me is how MMO's will play a role when virtualy reality becomes a, well, reality. Think about it. A literal actual life away from your own life. A world where you can do anything without the reprocusions of dying. You can feel what you are doing, and for a lack of better words you are there. Imagine having a tough time trying to realize which is real and which is fake. Getting so absorbed into your second life that your main, actual, life is nothing but a shell. Part of it is a bit scary, really.
  21. I loved this post :P . It truely is amazing how fast we are moving. One of the reasons why we are moving like this is because when we create better technology we can than use that to find out and work on making even better technology and so on and so forth. It was hard to come up with the first car, computer, ect. because it was the first. Now that we have computers we can use them to work out problems with even stronger technology. When we get that better technology it will allow us to work and create better technology. To be honest its a very exciting time to be living in. Over the course of our life time so much is going to happen, such as you said. Hell when I was a kid I was playing my NES -- now I'm playing games that I can hardly tell the difference from them and real life! :P
  22. I'm interested to see how you plan on staying alive in todays world without money.
  23. Dream Theater- In the pressence of Enemies Pt 1 Got the album today... just amazing. Tops anything of theirs I have heard so far, I love it.
  24. Man I've been really bored for a bit now. I have all the gear I need from 5 mans and I really don't feel like raiding. Downloading the Everquest II "play the fae" trial at the moment and seeing how the expansion pack changed the game. (I loved it when I played but I had chosen a pretty damn bad PvP class.) Ah well, time to do a little pvp I guess. :).
  25. i lol'd. Serriously, his face is a combo of  + + :o . And why is his skin red? Really though, its horrible. its also incredibly big. But mostly it just looks like something a 9 year old would draw.
