  1. Try Squad Rush mode and see how you like it. 4v4 only infantry on fairly small maps. I play it fairly exclusively.

I always put A1 on chicken. (And also pork and ham).
  3. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3179306&cmpid=0101 Funny how treyarch listens to the community about dedicated servers.
  4. http://www.guildwars2guru.com/guild-wars-2-news/interview-with-eric-flannum-isaiah-cartwright-and-ryan-scott/ Really excited to see how they are going to handle this. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun to PUB in while still adding in the right support needed for comp play. As a player who really enjoyed GW1 PvP but hated the PUB aspect of it (after my guild I founded left I was sort of "stuck") I'm glad to hear that they are changing the way it works.
  5. Can they charge more than $15? It would be absurd to do that. I've never seen DLC more than that. (Although maybe that Dragon Age DLC was... but that was like a whole other game wasn't it?) And I doubt anyone would pay that much for a couple of maps. Would be some epic BS. Considering you guy's already paid $15 for it and justified paying out the [wagon] I'd be surprised to not see them try and push it higher later on. However I believe I read this DLC will have you guy's paying another $15 bones for it. Speaking of which CS source is getting a large free update and TF2 just had their 119th free update a couple of weeks ago with the 120th on it's way. You know, just to put things in perspective a bit. Go away. We don't need those games. Just saying, it makes paying $15 for a map pack (2 maps which are recycled from an older [and better] game) seem a bit silly doesn't it? But like I said before Acitivision will continue to raise the price on their map packs as long as you guy's keep buying them.

  7. It's a useful device for a number of reasons. I need a phone. Be it corded or a cell phone I need one. I live on my own states away from my parents (I go to college in Kansas and they live in Virginia). Since I still am a student I'm not exactly independent enough exactly that I never need to talk to them. A landline is a waste for me and it's cheaper to just be on a family plan with my current cell phone. Plus, you know, it's convenient. I don't understand why it is a substitution for "real" (what do you constitute as real and fake interaction anyways? I figured talking to another person would be interacting with them.) interaction more-so than an addition. It's not like people only talk using cell phones. It may be a surprise to you but people have schedules and often times you can't exactly know when a good time to talk to someone is or, hell, where the [bleep] they are at the time. Instead of doing a man hunt around the entire city you can shoot them a text or a call. (Which can be really useful if, for example, you're trying to find out when a certain project or due or what is happening in class tomorrow. Or, hell, if you're trying to plan something like a party/hanging out with the other person). I don't see why you are so against having a cell phone. Again this is not a burden on me. I like my cell phone. I can browse the web on a slow day when I'm not near a PC, I have the ability to contact people from anywhere (which is useful for just enjoyment, school purposes or even in the case of an emergency.). Speaking of emergencies, you mentioned you could just go walk somewhere. Well if you were in a car accident would you rather someone just use their cell phone to call 911 or would you want them to have to try and walk miles to a rest stop area to use a pay phone, by which this time you're probably in critical condition. It's not like you're lugging around a giant backpack alongside of you. Even using a smart phone it takes up no room in my pocket and it's smaller than my wallet. (Well, about the same size just skinnier). This isn't some giant burden you always have to have with you, it's something that is nice to have. You need to stop exaggerating so much by the way. I mean, "utility belt with 100's of items" is clearly you over exaggerating. If you would have noticed by now we, as a society, have been slimming down our gadgets. Compare a cell phone from the 90's to a cell phone now. It's stupid to think that we're going to be over burdened with hundreds of items when we have clearly been moving towards only having one (or a couple) of "devices" in our life. Where the [bleep] did this come from? I'm sorry but you really shouldn't be arguing if you continue to ask stupid questions like that. I know what you're getting at but it's ridiculous. g00d, I agree with Das that you should just go ammish. It clearly seems like you hate technology. By the way, give up your car. George washington didn't have a car and he got around just fine. It's ridiculous to think people have to drive everywhere, I mean you can just walk!
  8. So... why is it a bad thing to have a cell phone always with you? It seems silly to shun something like that, it'd be like shunning telephones because "Well I can just go over to their house and talk to them". And the person who says he just talks face to face, well, this might be hard to believe but there can be people you want to talk to that you can't always see "face to face". You know, whole being a number of states away from them and all. Just because something can make our lives easier and more convenient does not make it a bad thing. Carrying it around is not a "burden" either, my cell is just always in my right pocket if I need it.
  9. TBH I'd be fine if they just have an option to turn off killstreaks all together.
  10. I don't play MW2.
  11. Not even close to balanced lol. A large chunk of the Killstreaks/perks in MW2 were unbalanced.
  12. This I hope. I remember thinking the 7 kill streak was fairly OP back when CoD 4 came out... man how times have changed.

Back up to a respectable 1.4KD on my retail account after 2 awful matches. Don't mess with my chipper play (18/3/13) edit: ending the night on 1.9KD and 86% win ratio. already above 1600 again (see stat sig). Ended with a 22/6/15 slither mid.
  14. Probably will be.
  15. Felt pretty good getting back into the game after not playing it for a while. Still planning on doing UMP45 / M9 / RPG / Red Dot / Magnum for comp. UMP45 is just such a beast gun. Also saw someone using the most scrub/lame tactic I've ever witnessed. He played engineer and would place down anti tank mines on the point (suicide rushing it). Unlike C4, however, they did not disappear after the engineer had died. He just stacked them up and then would grenade it doing massive damage to the point. Even our team watching the point like a hawk couldn't really stop it. Probably should be considered broken, especially since I don't think that is the intended purpose of an anti tank mine, haha. Still if it isn't banned in comp it might be an easy way to cheese a win...
  16. You haven't tried Dungeoneering (or any of the new features) out, how can you say it doesn't deserve the spot? Though, it's a typical response from retired Runescape players (my classmates ftw) so I'm not going to bother arguing further. Why would a randomized dungeon system change my mind about a game that has some of the most boring MMO mechanics ever in it? I only really enjoyed the game in RSC when PvP was actually something.
  17. Hell yeah, got recruited today for 4v4 squad rush :). Turns out that there are a bunch of a 4v4 leagues starting, pretty awesome.
  18. Hmmm... :-k And lol, didn't realize that the poll was 2009. In that case, it should be lower, I guess. What? Like I said I first played it 9 years ago about when I was like 12 or 13. Played for a year or so, got bored, quit.
  19. Lol yeah, you might get $20 from all of those if you're lucky.
  20. To be honest the larger the first one gets the less I like it. It looks fine "signature size" though. I don't really like the second one. Aspect ratio kills it and it does feel like the abstract bit is out of place.
  21. A fansite yes, but in the "real-life" section of it. But to have got to the fansite, and thus into the real-life section (however much a gaming section can be) you once would have had to be a fan and player of the game, thus leading you to the forums. Sure I was a fan of runescape. 9 years ago.
  22. Considering how much money they make off of it I'm going to say they are doing a pretty good job.
  23. That's a really good idea actually. I'd like to do that.
