That team you played against was garbage. No team with even a small amount of competence would have issues eliminating one sentry. It was on the bar room server and not all of them were terrible. I think they just got caught off guard by it lol.

AV weekend = orgasmic XP. 1 minute queue time. 10 minute match 40-50% XP gain. I've gotten 3+ levels tonight in the course of an hour of play time.

Played today a bit to warm up for Engi update. had the best engi moment in my life. Ended up getting 16 kills with the turret, on my own (no one else on my team around me) in about the course of 2 minutes. I literally held off the entire enemy team just hiding in a little house repairing it.

Instructors who go on a long speech about why we, as students, should not want them to "curve" a grade. Yes, we all know what the [bleep] curving a grade actually is (putting it to a bell curve, ect.) but what we really mean is just adjust the scores upwards slightly on a difficult test (I.E highest score 90% adjust the scores up by 10%). Seriously annoys me to no end when instructors do this, and a lot of them do.

To be honest Guild Wars 2 is my only real hope for the future of MMOs. Sure, I'm muddling around in WoW right now but Guild Wars 2 is the one MMO coming out that seems like it'll change stuff.

I really hope the rumor of dedicated servers is true. If that happens and, like vale said, there is a beta to test it out I may get it. No dedicated servers is a no go for me though, especially because they are a must for competitive play.

EA has been so annoying lately, especially with those codes that come with games for "free" dlc, yet nearly half the time the cards don't even work. Activision is a good publishing company, they've just had their image drop a little because of the whole IW thing. Or the fact that they force sequels out year after year? Acitvision is a terrible publisher. Also the $10 plan ("Free" DLC included in games) from EA is done to combat the used game market which does end up hurting them. Just buy games new and you'll have no problem with it.

You know if I were Treyarch I would try really hard to pick up all the people that MW2 pissed off. The base framework of the game has a lot of potential for a really strong fps but all the [cabbage] just ruins that. If they can get rid of all the bull while providing an interesting setting than they might be on to something there.

[hide][/hide] Minimalistic UI WIP I'm working on. Using aloft nameplates as well. Trying to keep this very clean, slick look to it. Right now major things I need to do are: - Text on the pitbull frames, need to mess with them a bit. May be a bit too "crowded" currently. - Still need a proper placed group frame/raid frame - Like wise will need to work in the PvP frame and focus frame for arenas when time comes. - Want to get a buff mod that shows buffs/debuffs as bars like "classtimers" or something. - Want to mess around with how the current hotbars + text looks like. It's an interesting challenge though, making a minimalistic frame while keeping all the info I need for PvP there.
