  1. I may be mistaken, but i'm 98% sure i was able to do 27-second runs about a year ago Kyatting/Dueling to Castle Wars... it *has* been a year, though, so i may be wrong =p. Has something changed to make this slower?
  2. How long would that approximately take and what's the cost? Sounds interesting but if it does take too long I really can't be arsed :D Thanks for the ideas everyone, I'm thinking of the oak doors at the moment but the cost might be a problem (I only have whereabouts 1M cash at the moment and 2-3M as herbs, will accept suggestions on how to efficiently make money, currently my methods are Sorceress' Garden and tablets). Actually, Oaks and Teaks are really cheap right now (see: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Construction_Materials#Construction_Materials_-_Player_Transported) I would go with oak dungeon doors if i were you; not sure if teak tables are faster or not. If you can muster up some money, even mahoganies are fairly cheap these days...
  3. You can consider limestone... it is slower but cheaper; it depends on how much you value your time, really.
  4. So whip/dragon defender at the skeleton monkies is the best bet? Do you happen to have exp rates?
  5. Is whip/d defender a good method for zombies? (I haven't played in nearly a year, now... i hardly know ^^.) I plan to train them simultaneously, if i can. Also, about the monkey skeletons... they don't drop effigies (140k exp each) or charms, whereas the zombies do. Won't that effectively balance the two methods, not to mention that zombies sound safer... do living rock creatures compare to zombies, at all? I've heard they're not too bad...
  6. Okay, so my #1 is correct, it seems. How about #2?
  7. Does fighting on "controlled" give defence exp or not? It definitely used to...
  8. 1 - You are killing an armoured zombie (850 lp.) Assume you're using a whip on controlled... killing the zombie will give you: (850*0.133) 113.33 attack, strength, defence, and constitution exp. Is this math correct? 2 - Assume i DO NOT HAVE chaotic weapons, and i'm going to go from 96-99 attack, strength, and defence. What is the fastest method? Whip, dragon defender, overloads, and turmoil at armoured zombies?
  9. I will quit if my studies continue to press me for time. I've been on hiatus since early last March, and I will continue to be until I get into college sometime this spring =p.
  10. I cannon every task and only block uncannonable ones and dragons (slow to cannon =p). Last winter, I used to average 30-32k xp/hr (no dungeoneering, no steel titan, no lamps/effigies, but with piety, cannon, and potions) with Sumona, but i'll admit that it's quite hard to do that (or, at least it was, ten months ago.) I would assume it's possible to get over 35k xp/hr these days, but i'm not entirely sure... i find that the "better" slayer masters often give more hard-to-cannon tasks and therefore slower exp, but that's just my preference. At 98 slayer, i still recommend Sumona ^^. PS - I recommend trying some of the more exotic (warped things, suqahs, etc.) tasks with a cannon at least twice before blocking them. I personally LOVE warped tasks, as i can cannon them ridiculously fast... it all depends on your play style, of course.
  11. You can chisel 2kg granite pieces into four 500g ones; 500gp profit for each you break up... but it doesn't really help you with skilling. RCing and farming are your best bets; the teletabs method mentioned earlier isn't too bad, either!
  12. the horn doubles the xp you get. It's worth it to get the Master horn, if you don't already. It's twice as efficient as the normal horn. I've been reading up on BA; this is good to know! Does anyone know how long it takes to "fill" a master horn? How about how long it takes to get the master ranking in one class?
  13. Thanks everyone; i do appreciate the comments! So, would 1) Slayer 2) Summoning 3) Some other skills (Which help the most with Dungeoneering??) 4) Dungeoneering be a good path to take? Also, about this penance horn thing, is it faster to obtain it and use it for agility, or is it faster to just buckle down and run around in circles for experience? What exactly does it do?
  14. Hiya; so, i'm returning from a year-long hiatus and would like to know how (in which order) i should train. I have these skills that are not level 99 yet: Attack, Strength, Defence - 95 Constitution - 97 Fishing, Thieving - 85 Mining - 87 Agility - 78 Slayer - 98 Runecrafting - 91 Hunter - 82 Summoning - 88 Dungeoneering - 1! I plan to get 99 slayer in with a week of returning; that will get me 96 att/str/def. After that, what would be the best way to invest my time? Really, i'd like a list of 1) this skill, 2) this skill, etc., but that's quite optimistic, so i'm just asking for general advice, at this point! Pointing me towards some good guides might be useful, as well, particularly a good dungeoneering one =p. Money isn't tight (as in, i would definitely consider hiring essence runners to speed up RC, or skills like that,) but i'm not willing to spend exorbitantly. If there is anything i can do to avoid fishing at leaping salmon or doing agility at a traditional "run around in circles" course, i would really like to know about it; i'm considering getting these particularly annoying skills up with effigies to avoid those horrible, horrible training methods... Thanks a bunch!
  15. How many should i expect per hour? I love those cave crawlers... one of my favorite tasks =p.
  16. I sort of understand how these work (I'm just coming back from a year hiatus.) I do have a few questions though: Can i have multiples of these at once time? i.e., can i have six of these lying around in my bank? Are they an effective method of training slower skills? i.e., can i "effigy hunt" in order to get lamps in order to get 40k runecrafting exp each time? If so, what is the fastest way of obtaining as many effigies as possible? Thanks ^^

Is it possible to sell noted furs to the guy in Varrock center? If so, does it work for both bear and wolf furs?
  19. I know that Duke Freedom used to have his Rare ones up somewhere... does anyone know if he has/had others??
  20. I know there are graphs floating around of Rares' prices over the past... 5+ years. Does anyone know of where/from whom i can locate similar ones for Runes? Thanks
  21. Mmhmm... these years have twelve months... whoops. I really wonder if there's a hint to its powers... i think i might just get to building it anyway =p.
  22. Eight months will put us in the New Year... hmmm...
  23. Thanks... must be pretty useful =p.
  24. Why so long?
  25. Are there any benefits to building the new Shattered Hearts Statue thing in your house? What does it cost to make, what Construction Level is needed, what Room does it go in? I am after general information about it =p.
