  1. very old update, just not popular.
  2. coal is 230 ea  back to mining coal... 60k coal to 85 mining  but seriously, this is just runescape economics. maybe now some scapers will realise the value of money, no wait, they'll buy it. hold on, conspiracy just formulated in my head. jagex started working on crackng down on botters and real world traders at about the same time they started with these range updates(a month or two is about how loong new weapons/upgrades take), could they have forseen this? i think jagex forsaw this, so started to crack down on real worlders so that the value of these items would stay they same... if i'm right, then jagex has actually started to pay attention to the economy! could we see another shattering update like this in the near future? One - This isn't "Runescape Economics". It's how the real economy works. The demand for bolts has been higher - causing the bolt price to increase. And same with Iron and Coal - higher demand causes higher price. Second - Jagex has always payed attention to the economy. You didn't notice they took away rare items due to the fact the prices were coming to outragous prices (at the time)? 1. difference between real economics and runescape. runescape's economy is dependant on the price of rares and the next update jagex makes. real life economies are dependant on so many things that i cannot list them, but rare items are not on that list. it's the middle class that provides the goods that an economy realies upon, as well as huge corperations to distribute these goods. in runescape, the middle class is around a 10-50m net worth. this middle class usually depend on merchanting as their main source of income, while anyone in the real world who does this is rich, or will not make an extensive profit. these economies have their similarities, but at heart are completely different. as for the rares, you're right on that, but it was impossible for jagex not to notice, the economy of their whole game was starting to rely upon these paper hats, while they meant it to add a friendly aspect to the game, and for people to have fun with the cool looking hats.
  3. the only person i am competitive with is username: trickmonkey1, we've been in a competition since i started, he had a 300 level head start. i'm catching up now because he got 100 qp over the past 2 weeks

  5. wow, you actually believed him? and that number is completely out of the blue, at least he has reasons, even if they are confused.
  6. 99's will make you hate any skill. just think of it this way, farming and rc are worse for 99's
  7. fletching is the only thing i don't like. god such a worthless and boring skill... if i had to pick another i'd say fishing, but it isn't too bad.

    +1, running is kinda noobish.
  9. oh god i hope you're right, but it's not an interesting topic.

read my post, these people say it suck because they haven't otten into the game. i got into and i still thought it sucked. they've played for an hour, rs wasn't fu the first hour either.
  11. please post this in help and advice next time, but i'll try to find the thread it was in.

    wasn't worth that week
  13. all that black stuff really adds up eh? gravity is also determined by the object the planet it is orbiting, if it is smaller, the gravity will decrease, bigger, it will increase, so geilinor could just be orbiting a huge star. Where did you learn your physics? lol Gravity on Earth is almost exclusively determined by the density of the planet (and to a lesser extent, the oribt of the Moon and by a tiny almost inconceivable amount, the star). Runescape could be a much larger or much smaller world, depending on the density of the planet. There are limitations however, but I won't get into it. uhh college physics class for college credit. the gravity of the star affects the planets gravity more than you think, but for my scenerio, the star would have to be bigger than any ever discovered. but everyone knows that physics don't apply in runescape. it's completely illogical.

  15. the land of geilinor isn't as big as runescape. and this has no way to have discussion. it's a worthless topic. plus your calculations are way off, if it was true it would be 5000 miles per 40 minutes. EDIT: nice quote lunar.

the problem with you guys is that you played it for 1 hour. i thought runescape was boring for the first few hours, but my friend said keep playing, then it got fun. i played aq for a week so i would know what i was talking about. i was so bored i can hardly remember what i was doing, fight fight fight! nothing else! it sucked so bad! play it for a while then you can say it sucks. like me
  17. so you got nothing. you would still have to make your own money, you picked something anyone can get in 4 months. a 126 doesn't mean maxed out skills, it means maxed out combat. EDIT: sorry for all the posts, i don't know how to put names on quotes so i have to make a new post for a different quote.
  18. Lol? You think you can pc 126 combat in a month. Total bs. I'd take the party hats, sell them all apart from one, buy loads of alchs (for 99 mage) and generally have fun on rs. yes i can, it's quite easy. my friend did it in 33 days. he was trying for a month and just missed it. he started at 70 attack, 60 str and 55 def. his name was casper something... he moved away :( .
  19. what are you on? pks are a horrible way to make money, if you make over 1mil on a pk then you're damn lucky. and a 126 doesn't take years to get, i could pc it in a m onth once i get money for a whip. meanwhile phat set is an ungodly amount of money.
  20. you should make a don't care list, that will actually have people on it :XD: anyway this thread is dead to me now. (sorry, had to say that, an old funny quote.)
  21. NOBODY needs 43 prayer to do it, everyone noobs it and ranges the boss. but those pures do have 43+ prayer when they do it. the hard part of the quest is the actual quest not the boss. now if they just took away those safe spots...
  22. errr wow, next he's gonna say if you have something in the high scores you're a bot.
  23. tbh do hunter and you can get it in one day.
  24. not all f2pers are stupid, all of us were f2p once, except for those stupid people who become member at 30 total level... -.-
  25. No it's not, if so, where should it be? ON TOPIC: Yes, theres nothing wrong with saying this it should be in general.... that's where these pointless polls go. i'm not going to repoort it yet though... you get better answers in p2p.
