Not even close, but how fast you slay is very dependent on how skilled you are with a mouse, so that's the best place to start improving.

I don't think you can get a task from Lapalok and run to Kuradel to take a picture not knowing what happened... so your statement can really only be interpreted as accusing him of lying. Generally, I think it's rude when people call me a liar, but I guess that's just my opinion. You have to admit, it's pretty damn fishy. If he can prove it like he says he can, I will apologize and admit that I was wrong.

I think you got an Aquanites task from Duradel and ran over to Kuradal to make it look like you've just encountered an unfortunate bug.

I could not agree more. Five hours for two tasks, one of which was greaters? That's on you. Also, I lol'd hard at the guy who said that 15k exp/h is the max. EDIT: Anyway, you wont start making a noticeable profit till 83 slayer.

I wonder how good the Hexhunter bow really is. From the description, it sounds like it hits hard and fast, but has low accuracy.

That's a much better list, and one I can relate to. I'm a Frenzy Slayer, but I was a Barrows Beast for years. I was also a Welfare Willie when I first started slayer in 2006. 8-)

I kinda wish that slayer monsters were more common, but on the other hand it's cool to have these rare and unique monsters that drop equally rare and unique equipment. Anyone care to provide a list of the slayer monsters and what special items they drop?

It's not bug abuse. The degrading is attached to the player, not the bow, so it's just another example of emergent gameplay. It's a pretty well known trick.

What trick? You need two bows to do it. You use your 10/10 bow for ten minutes (or about 200-225 shots), then switch to your degrading bow for the last few shots. That way you can keep using a 10/10 bow indefinitely.

That's why you use the crystal bow trick. :wink:

When ranged slaying, I often opt for my crystal bow and SW cape. I use darts on greater demons. Besides the testing and such, I actually really like the crystal bow as a weapon. It's just fun to use IMO.

Actually, I think the newb one is the only accurate stereotype. The other two are completely wrong though. I think the guy in full bandos and dfs is actually a good stereotype, he just described it wrong. It's not a pro slayer, it's a slayer who is obsessed by strength and showing off. You make a good point, and I agree. They're the lazy-slayers who actually got to 99. Slayer cape, DFS, full Bandos . . . and a bunyip on every task.

LOL, you got it completely wrong. Your picture of a "pro slayer" wearing a slayer cape and using a DFS made me laugh.

Rune Defender > DFS unless you're fighting Wyverns.

Yeah, pretty much just normal melee task. Use a cannon if you want to speed it up a bit. They're a slow task no matter what you do.
