  1. Looks like Zarfot's doing a little slayer. I really hope so, 'cause it's practically a given that he's gonna be using overloads the whole way.
  2. I don't think that's right. I'm pretty sure that astrals are only slightly worse than natures, but have a better experience rate. I would personally do ZMI to 82, astrals to 91, and then natures to 99 (unless you're trying to max as soon as possible, in which case I would just do what Bladewing said).
  3. I kind of agree, but he can still train defense at waterfiends using controlled with a ZS. He'll also profit, and once he can go to CT fiends (even at 92 summoning, it's significantly more fun and a little bit faster than cavern fiends), it'll be a lot more interesting than rock lobsters.
  4. Obtaurian replied to willyd's topic in Help and Advice
If you want profit and don't want to train slayer, armored zombies are where it's at. The profit isn't spectacular, but you'll get charms, too, so they're not bad.
  5. Isn't the Graveyard subforum for posting PK galleries? It doesn't bother me either way; just saying.
  6. According to Bladewing, it would take about 20 hours with maxed stats, turmoil, steel titan, etc.
  7. Hellhounds and kalphites are fast xp, Warped tortoise are an easy fast task that makes a lot of money. I can understand living rocks, because it's such a long task, but it is amazing xp. The problem is that hellhounds, kalphites, and tortoises aren't fast enough. You should always make full use of your block list, and those are the best tasks to block, whether it's due to them being too slow, too unprofitable, too charm-less, or just too crowded. Usually it's a combination of these things. I'd take wyverns or iron dragons over any of these tasks any day.
  8. I've read that the Edimmu does.
  9. lolhyt. FSC is where it's at.
  10. Hellhounds, Kalphites, Warped Tortoises, and Living Rock Creatures are all mandatory blocks, IMO. They're all way too slow to be worthwhile. The last spot is up to preference, but I would go with blue dragons (slow, but not too bad if you have a yak), suqahs (if you're not on lunars), possibly steel dragons (even with 84+ herblore, but this is kind of debatable), and possibly jungle or desert strykewyrms (slow). I'm probably missing something. My block list is very wacky because I'm primarily mage/ranged slaying.
  11. If it were possible to purchase a bonecrusher at 21 dungeoneering (the level to use it), and you were a fairly low leveled player, I could see it being pretty useful. For me, personally, it'd be a huge waste of tokens. I'm 92 prayer, and my tokens are better spent on a chaotic weapon or an arcane stream necklace.
  12. @ Ring World: You clearly don't understand the mentality of a collector, of which there are all kinds, including those who enjoy Runescape.
  13. It's always better to use combat familiars when slaying (if possible, of course). I could see the renewal prayer being very useful for ranged/mage slayers who are tanking, depending on the drain rate.
  14. Do not buy a BGS if it's going to break your bank. Spend the money on prayer, herblore, a fury, etc.
  15. It's kind of a true stereotype that high level players get PM'd by random low levels. I know I do. I keep my private on most of the time, but I do turn it off if I start getting random private messages. I've had people from TIF PM me just to insult me for whatever reason, so I tend to use my ignore list more than my private chat options.
  16. However, it is possible to "buy" the memento by simply not attending the event, which is a major sticking point for a lot of people.
  17. For most things, a BGS and Dragon Claws would be more beneficial than an AGS or SGS. Despite that, however, I favor the SGS.
  18. If you live on Hawaii? If you are a poor kid with poor parents? Then why are you even complaining about this? You should be complaining about membership before you even start with the flag. Right, because five bucks a month is totally comparable to a weekend trip that would easily cost a couple grand.
  19. I haven't used mine extensively, but I just wanted to add that you can easily fill it in a few hours if you have a good team. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to get a good team unless you have full penance or you're very high level, and the former is much more effective for finding teams.
  20. Yeah, I would rate yak as being the highest priority. Yak > Herblore > Turmoil, IMO. EDIT: And as Aeil says, do as we say, not as we do. I'm getting 95 prayer before a yak AND herblore. <_<
  21. Twice. First was a trial run using bone bolts; I messed up on prayer switching. Second run was the real deal; twas no problem.
  22. rapier aside that was a really nice little dm Agreed. I've seen most of Taco Limey's vids, but he never seems to post vids of him fighting other tribrids who can actually go toe-to-toe with him. I enjoyed it.
  23. I completely agree. This is just ridiculous. The side in support of Jagex on this issue is completely missing the point, it would seem, and this thread really has gone to [cabbage] with people just attacking each other.
  24. How so? How so? I don't see an argument here; you're just insulting people, as per usual.
